Indoor Combat Training

——————————————————

-(Musutafu/U.A. Training Ground Beta, Afternoon)-

Teams 'A' and 'D' entered the 'Indoor Antipersonnel Building' - used for their first indoor combat training. Right underneath the target building was its basement, a monitor room where everyone else in Class 1-A would watch the battle - to learn the strategies and tactics of their fellow classmates and how to improve them. Jotaro was standing next to Sato and Sero, staring at multiple screens to view the inside and outside of the building.

"I hope the cameras don't get blown up..." said Sato concerningly.

"Don't worry, they won't," reassured Sero. "The school probably made them resistant to all kinds of damage."

"Oh! That makes sense."

"I just hope we can see everything going on out there," said Jotaro.

All Might got ready to begin the first round; he placed the microphone in front of him and kept a clipboard and pencil in his hands. "All right! Let's begin the indoor combat training! Heroes and villains - your time starts now!" announced All Might.

Immediately, Izuku and Uraraka entered the building. Jotaro looked at a camera and saw the two sneaking around a corner. However, he also noticed on another camera's feed that Bakugo was hiding nearby, ready to ambush the two. 'You two should've expected a sneak attack early on from him.'

Izuku seemed to be saying something to Uraraka before Bakugo sprung out of his hiding spot and launched a successful sneak attack on the two. Jotaro guessed this isn't to make the heroes waste time with him; it's just his grudge against Izuku.

"It's a sneak attack!" exclaimed Mineta.

"Bakugo is relentless," remarked Jotaro, causing some of the class to pay close attention to his words. "He's the type who always charges into action first, especially when his greatest enemy is on the opposite team."

Kirishima and Mina titled their heads when they heard this. "Who? Izuku?" asked the two.

"Well... I think my phrasing's a bit off," replied Jotaro. "It's more like... 'person Bakugo hates the most' is nearby or something."

"Oh..."

"Yeah, I know," said Jotaro, looking back at the screen. "Sigh... even the smallest 'grievances' make people act erratically."

Bakugo seemed to have destroyed the wall nearest to Uraraka and Izuku. Fortunately, Izuku managed to grab Uraraka and dodge the attack before they got caught up in the explosion. Jotaro noticed that Izuku's mask was so accurately torn up in the ambush that only half was left on his face.

"It looks like he grazed me!" said Izuku. "Uraraka, you okay?!"

"Yeah, thanks!" replied Uraraka, showing minor scrapes from debris thrown around. "He literally came out of nowhere!"

"Kacchan was sure to come straight at me..." said Izuku. "I knew it!"

Jotaro was dumbfounded when he heard this, thinking that if Izuku knew that Bakugo was coming for them, then why didn't he try going anywhere else? Uraraka could float them to the roof for chrissakes. 'KNEW IT?! THEN WHY DID YOU ALMOST GET BLASTED?!'

Bakugo was starting to get up from his near-perfect ambush. "Nice dodging, Deku," uttered Bakugo.

Most of the class disapproved of Bakugo's actions while watching the screens displaying the match, considering it dishonorable to do something so sneakily. Jotaro, on the other hand, knew that it was an exceedingly practical action on the villain's part - to 'delay' the heroes from getting to the bomb or potentially having the chance to put them out of commission.

"THAT'S LOW BAKUGO!! SNEAK ATTACKS ARE SO UNMANLY!!" gritted Kirishima.

"Yet, they're a valid strategy!" countered All Might with his pointer finger in the air. "This is a practical experience, after all!"

"That's right," agreed Jotaro. "I'd do the same if I were a villain."

The class looked at Jotaro as if he was considering becoming a villain; it was an incredibly awkward moment for him to endure.

Jotaro shook his head in disappointment - how could they be so gullible? "Sigh... as in during this exercise, idiots..."

"HEY!!" blurted Mineta and Kaminari.

"Did you guys see that? Midoriya sure can dodge!" exclaimed Mina, looking back and forth at the screen, Jotaro, and Kirishima.

"Would've been great if he just didn't get ambushed at all..." muttered Jotaro; he couldn't believe how Izuku could fall for such an obvious trap, especially when one of the trappers could be one of his greatest adversaries, Katsuki Bakugo.

Jotaro then looked at the screen that showed Bakugo; it seemed like he was taunting Izuku, trying to get inside of his head or something. "What's the matter, Deku? Afraid to stand up and fight me?"

Bakugo took a moment to make a sadistic grin at Izuku, all the while producing small explosions on his palms. "Don't worry, I won't hurt you so bad they'll have to stop the fight... ONLY ENOUGH SO YOU GET YOU DISQUALIFIED!!" yelled Bakugo.

The class watched anxiously as Bakugo proceeded to pull a punch at Izuku using his right fist, expecting it to land and cause Izuku some injury. However, Izuku suddenly grabbed Bakugo's arm, readying for a counterattack. "RRAAAAAHHH!!"

Unexpectedly, Izuku flipped Bakugo over his shoulder, causing him to hard slam his back onto the floor. "Wow! Look at those moves!" remarked Uraraka.

Bakugo seems to have abnormally bounced off the floor, propelling up slightly unnaturally. "URK-!!" grunted Bakugo.

The class became fixated on the screens that showed Bakugo and Izuku's fight - deeply interested in the rivalry between the two. The smoke from the earlier explosion by Bakugo has started to clear up - Izuku, Uraraka, and Bakugo were now fully visible in the eyes of the audience.

"Kacchan... you almost always lead with that right hook..." started Izuku. "I have seen enough of it to know...!"

Izuku breathed for a moment before continuing; it had taken much of his strength to make that move since he was smaller than Bakugo. "You see - I've analyzed heroes I think are awesome in my notebook!"

Bakugo began to understand what Izuku was getting at, getting up to look at him with ferocity. "THE ONE YOU ALMOST BLEW UP AND WOULD'VE CHUCKED OUT OF THE WINDOW!!"

Everyone in the monitor room is getting extremely nervous; even All Might feels slightly anxious. "Why does Izuku look like he's crying..." muttered Jotaro; he felt like he was the only one in the room asking the most bizarre questions.

"I'm not going to be your worthless punching bag forever, Kacchan!" declared Izuku. "You can call me Deku, but I'm not the same helpless, defenseless kid anymore! Do you hear me? Because I've changed!"

Izuku got into a battle stance before looking straight at Bakugo, who was now gritting his teeth and seemed to want to kill Izuku right then and there. "FROM NOW ON, DEKU IS THE NAME OF A HERO!!" shouted Izuku without skipping a beat.

Jotaro looked at another screen that showed Uraraka peeking at Bakugo from behind a corner, waiting for him to make his next move. "You spout that crap..."

"Huh-"

"All while scared out of your mind...!" said Bakugo, standing up with a scowl. "IT PISSES ME OFF!!"

Back in the monitor room, everyone seemed to shudder a little from Bakugo's appearance; he looked like a wild animal. Jotaro understood an extraordinary contest of resolves was about to commence, making it impossible for him not to smirk at the sight before him.

'Now, this is where the fun begins...'

-(Musutafu/U.A. Training Ground Beta, Couple Hours Later)-

It was finally Toru and Jotaro's turn to have their match-up. The only downside was that they were against Shoto Todoroki's team. Jotaro predicted the match to be the most interesting and engaging since Shoto was, in his opinion, the strongest in the class; his 'Half Ice' Quirk is extremely powerful in either indoor or outdoor spaces. Toru and Jotaro walked to the top of the building where their match would commence, standing together until All Might began the round; they were the ones who were supposed to guard the bomb.

"I'm going all out, Jotaro!" exclaimed Toru, taking off one of her gloves. "Thus, the boots and gloves are coming off! So don't look!"

Jotaro didn't know how to respond to that. 'What is there to look at anyway...?' said Jotaro confusedly.

Toru took off her last visible piece of clothing, throwing them to the side. "Okay! I'm ready!"

"If I were Todoroki, I would probably freeze this place..."

"Huh?! There's no way he could do that!"

"Believe me, it's definitely the most likely thing that's gonna happen," affirmed Jotaro, walking towards the door. "It's gonna start to get cold in here very soon."

Toru looked around the room desperately for a solution to counter Todoroki's ice - there were none. "What're we gonna do then?!" said Toru worriedly.

"Don't panic; I have a plan - all you have to do is stand nearby at all times."

"Okay... I'll trust you!" said Toru, determined to win. "So how close-"

Jotaro then pressed Toru right up to his chest, keeping her close enough for his Hamon to heat the vicinity around them (Jotaro could heat up about a circle that could fit two people, but he could fill an entire room if he had time). "Hey~! What are you doing to me, JoJo?!" said Toru, blushing profusely because her mammary glands were pushed up right against Jotaro's chest.

Toru started to hit Jotaro's face repeatedly with embarrassingly weak punches; he got pretty annoyed when one of them almost knocked off his hat. "Stop moving."

Jotaro's comment sent a shiver down Toru's spine; she kinda liked it. Jotaro waited for several moments and felt the room decrease in temperature rapidly. Once he saw that the room was starting to freeze, he breathed in slowly, allowing his Quirk to activate and create a small circle for him and Toru to stand in (I forgot to mention it, but Mina was going crazy in the monitor room when she thought Toru's nipples got a slightly erect once the room started to freeze up, thinking that it was caused by... other factors). "Okay, I think we're good-"

Toru started a barrage of slaps at Jotaro in retaliation for his 'bold moves' against her. "YOU PERVERT~!!"

Star Platinum blocked all the hits so that Jotaro wouldn't get any more injuries from Toru; it took her a moment to calm down before noticing the room was frozen, but she and Jotaro were standing in a heated circle that was gradually expanding throughout the floor.

"I didn't know you could heat up stuff!" exclaimed Toru; she didn't understand how his 'healing' Quirk had this attribute. "How does that work-"

"-it just does, probably to fix hypothermia or something; it's like when I fixed your legs that time."

"Oooh! I remember that my legs felt slightly warmer after that!"

"Yes, but we should quiet down - Todoroki is probably inbound on our position."

"Oh no!"

"Hide behind the door and prepare to get the jump on Todoroki, he'll notice that the room isn't frozen anymore, but he won't know if you're near me," said Jotaro; the room had been unfrozen now at this point in time.

"Alright!" nodded Toru, preparing an ambush at the door.

Jotaro hears Todoroki walking up the stairs - he is getting close to the door. 'I think I can hear his footsteps...' believed Jotaro, summoning his Stand early.

-(Musutafu/U.A. Monitor Room)-

"Whoa, he's able to u-unfreeze himself from T-Todoroki's ice, even h-heating up the whole room he's i-in!" exclaimed Kirishima; he was shivering because the whole room was negative thirty degrees.

"I thought Todoroki had t-this in the bag w-when the whole b-building got f-frozen!" Mina exclaimed. "But I m-might actually be w-wrong...!"

"It-it's st-still free-zing, guys..." stuttered Mineta. "A-and J-Jo-taro has f-felt b-boob..."

"I-I k-know, it's n-not f-fair!" replied Kaminari

"Let's s-see the developments during this ma-match!" added All Might. "Without h-harming his ally or the nuclear weapon... he t-tried immobilizing the e-enemy!"

"He's t-too strong!" remarked Kirishima.

-(Musutafu/U.A. Training Ground Beta)-

Todoroki was walking through the hallways and came to a door he knew had the missile inside -based on Shoji's readings. Todoroki went close to the door and pressed his foot up against it. 'Let's get this over with, a flawless victory...'

Todoroki then kicked the door open and stepped inside, seeing Jotaro standing alone several feet in front of the missile; Toru was invisible, so he could only hope she was as stuck in the ice as Jotaro.

"Bring it on, but fighting without the soles of your feet will be painful-" said Todoroki; he doesn't finish his sentence when he notices something strange about Jotaro. "Huh-?!"

"DO THE THING NOW!!" ordered Jotaro.

"SURPRISE!!" screamed Toru, closing her eyes as she brought down a piece of ice onto Todoroki's head, yet she heard no collision.

Toru immediately opened her eyes when she felt that the ice in her hands was no longer there - only vapor and water remained after Todoroki placed his hand on the ice, using his 'Half Hot' Quirk to prevent getting himself from getting a concussion. "OH SHIIT!!" yelled Toru, diving away from Todoroki to avoid facing his retaliation.

Jotaro immediately rushed at Todoroki with Star Platinum; Todoroki used his ice to try and hurl chunks of it at him. Star Platinum helped Jotaro dodge or destroy every piece, almost getting hit by each one. 'Throw him out that door! Keep him away from the bomb!'

Todoroki tried to avoid Jotaro's approach by using his ice to unleash absolute hell, creating an ice wall that was directed toward him. Jotaro immediately sent his Stand to deal with the barrier, attacking it until he was close enough to Todoroki.

"ORA! (x500)" cried Star Platinum before grabbing Todoroki by his shirt, throwing him outside the room, and subsequently down the stairs.

"GAHH!!" yelled Todoroki after hitting the wall below. "Shit... I didn't expect this-"

Todoroki, in a daze, is unable to finish his sentence as Jotaro appears in front of him, standing there menacingly.

"I'll put you out of commission if you don't give up now," stated Jotaro. "At this range, I will be able to incapacitate you and more."

Todoroki doesn't listen and immediately sends ice at Jotaro. While using Star Platinum's crazy reflexes, Jotaro dodged and sent a light punch at Todoroki's stomach, which caused him to keel over and lay on the ground unconscious.

"Now that he's out of business, where is Shoji...?" muttered Jotaro, walking down the stairs to deal with the last hero. "HEY, TORU!!"

Toru approached the ledge of the stairs and looked down to hear what Jotaro had to say. "Yeah, JoJo?!"

"Tie up Todoroki and bring him down with you; I don't trust that he won't wake up as soon as I get to the bottom - keep him as close to me as possible."

"A-Alright, sure!" said Toru hesitantly.

As soon as Jotaro was out of sight, Toru keeled over and was on all fours. 'HOLY CRAP, THAT WAS SO COOL!! I FOUGHT MY FIRST ENEMY!! AND IT WAS TODOROKI!!' screamed Toru victoriously.

It took Jotaro about ten minutes to reach the bottom; he turned a corner to see Shoji leaning at a wall - unaware of his team's loss.

'I wonder what's taking so long - did Todoroki slip and fall down on his own ice or something...?' considered Shoji - the possibility was relatively low, but the chance was still there. "Maybe I should go in and help him out a little..."

"There's no point; the villain team has already won," said Jotaro, placing his hands in his overcoat's pockets.

"What are you talking about? Todoroki just went in and-"

The two stared at each other without saying a word; Shoji's only response was to blink twice. "This is the part where you lose, by the way,"

Shoji then closed his eyes and made an attempt to attack Jotaro - it didn't work. Instead, Jotaro merely flung him to the wall using his Stand, knocking out Shoji and giving his team the victory.

-(Musutafu/U.A. Monitor Room)-

Everyone was dumbfounded; Jotaro had singlehandedly beat the strongest in the class without even breaking too much of a sweat. "I- WHAT WAS THAT!!" exclaimed Iida.

"Lucky bastard...!" shouted Bakugo.

"Nice job, JoJo!" praised Mina. "He really handled those two flawlessly!"

"JoJo took out Todoroki in seconds...! I doubt I would've had any chance against him in a one-on-one fight!" remarked Kirishima.

"Jotaro's abilities were his greatest advantage; Todoroki didn't expect someone to be able to negate his 'Half Ice' Quirk so efficiently," commented Yaoyorozu.

"It was a very smooth victory if I do say so myself~!" stated Aoyama, making what appeared to be a Jojo pose.

"Very powerful indeed," added Tokoyami.

"I know, right?" agreed Tsuyu. "JoJo made it look so-"

"-FREAKING EASY!!" yelled Sero, his hands on his head. "The round ended so quickly!"

"I MEAN, OF COURSE!!" remarked All Might. "Young Kujo is as gifted as Young Todoroki!"

All Might then cleared his throat before leaning towards the microphone before him. "THE HERO TEAM WINS!"

——————————————————

-(Musutafu/U.A. Training Ground Beta)-

Toru and Jotaro heard the announcement and let out sighs of relief. "There it is..." said Jotaro; he could also hear from inside the building that Toru was celebrating loudly.

Suddenly, Jotaro remembered that there was a slight chance that he might have accidentally wounded Shoji and Todoroki, turning to check on Shoji before returning to Toru and Todoroki. "I think I let loose too much on you guys - my bad..."

"My head..." said Shoji, returning from his brief slumber. "Wait- what happened...?"

"You guys lost, and you kind of got knocked out - sorry."

"Ah, crap... no sweat, it's done with-" said Shoji, realizing he and Todoroki had just lost in mere minutes. "Holy crap, you did us in that quickly?!"

"Yeah, I'm a bit strong, mind you,"

——————————————————

-(Musutafu/U.A. Monitor Room, Later)-

"WELL DONE, EVERYONE!!" praised All Might. "Super work, you all really stepped up to the plate, and we didn't have any major injuries - except for Midoriya!"

'Oh wait, I could've healed him after his battle...'

"You should be proud! Excellent first day of training, all around!"

Some of the class expressed their gratitude for All Might's praise, saying how good it feels to experience some recognition for their efforts. "It's nice to hear some encouraging words after class - Mr. Aizawa is kind of a buzzkill..." said some of the students.

"I'm happy to bring such staggering positivity to my alma mater!" resumed All Might. "That's all for now, folks; I should go and check on Young Midoriya's progress! Now, watch how a pro exits - like he's got somewhere to be!"

All Might started sprinting away at lightning speed, but it was enough so the class could see his exact movements. "THERE'S NO WAY WE COULD BE ABLE TO RUN THAT FAST!!"

'Young Bakugo is overflowing with pride...' thought All Might to himself. 'His ego may be justified, but a school like U.A. is bound to shatter it; therefore, as his teacher, it's my sworn duty to counsel him well!'

All Might seemed to cough some blood, his speed decreasing for a moment. "But it'll have to wait; I can't hold this form any longer..."

All Might wiped the blood from his mouth and turned another corner, getting closer to the nurse's office. "I barely have enough time to teach a class anymore... shit."

Back with the rest of the class, everyone discussed how their day went, what they could've done to win their matches, or how to improve in the future. Jotaro was the only one to have kept his eye on All Might as he departed, noticing the blood starting to form in his mouth (Star Platinum got good vision).

'He's getting weaker...'
