Crossed of my checklist

We arrived at Walmart after a few minutes with what seemed like forever, why? You asked, well I obviously should have just let Aiden drove us here seeing I was wearing a freaking stilettos and that wasn't the worst part, Aiden kept on throwing some stupid questions to make up small talks that it ended up being a one sided conversation.

We walked into the store to buy...well, not sure... maybe a lipstick? I've never done this before so it was all too new and definitely not too comforting, especially having Aiden trailing up behind me. My hand brushed through a line of all too different lipsticks and lipglosses. I picked up a bright pink lipgloss that looks almost exactly like my natural lips.

"That'll look good on you" Aiden said

"Thanks" I mumbled, fighting the smile that is threatening to quirk up my face.

I ended up getting the bright baby pink lipgloss, an eyeliner and a mascara. Aiden was sweet enough to pay, and I didn't decline...I wanted to not spend the $20 my dad gave me, thank you very much. I got a text from Caden saying he just pulled up and was waiting for us.

We both walked out and spotted the two outside Caden's car.

"Omgggg you look amazing" Vee squealed running over to me and held both my hands

"Oh come on! Look at you! Words just can't! Love the hair!!!" I said as I held her hands and drink her in.

And I wasn't lying, cause she looked freaking cute!

She was wearing a knee length dress that stopped mid thigh, the upper part of it was black while the lower was grey and it almost looked like a skirt. A cute fluffy pink cropped sweater and a back bag with pink stilettos. She looked incredible. She's short so it's only reasonable we always wear heels.

While me on the other hand wore a beige green backless body con dress with long sleeves, it stopped mid thigh and defined my curves beautifully, matched it up with black YLS six inches hills. I had my dark hair in waves as they sit perfectly at my back reaching my waist. white long sleeve shirt with a brown mid thigh, also had my black purse at hand.

We kept going back and forth at how great the other person looked when she finally took notice of Aiden who was standing behind me with an amused expression. "No wayyyyy!" She squealed even louder, to Aiden this time

"God this is unbelievable! So you have a crush on Jia!? Oh my God that's too cute. Omg! You'd be Aijia! Or better... Jaden. God I'm so happy for you guys! You'd look great together" she rambled being wayyyy too happy, and it was just too adorable to watch. While Aiden couldn't find the words to her lovely rant I decided to take this as my cue to walk to the car where Mr rudes-alot was watching with also an amused expression, He looked at me with something I couldn't quite pin down, it looked like admiration, but I'll put that word pass Caden Mathews.

"Did Jia Armen actually dressed nice and not look homeless for once?" Caden feigned surprise with a smirk.

"Shut up buttface!" I snapped

"Seriously, You look great" he said with a smile and I couldn't help cock a brow in disbelief.

"You don't look bad yourself" I say checking him out. And I meant that, he look great actually

"Hmmm" he hummed with interest

"No chop chop and open the door for me" I waved a finger at his face.

"Not even if you were on a dying bed and it's your last wish" he said cockily making my gasp in disbelief.

"I hate you!" I say already walking to the other side of the care.

"Hate you more, beautiful" he replied

"I'm gonna take that as a compliment" I said with a smile involuntary quirking up my face as a made my way over to the drivers side of the car and swung open the door, adjust my dress and jumped in then I caught Aiden doing thesame thing

"Uh, what are you doing?" I asked wide eyed

"Getting in" he replied, genuinely confused

"Oh no! Vee is sitting there...girl talk" I waved him off

Vee and I both hopped in the back seat of the car while Aiden sat on the passenger seat. I brought out my newest and ONLY addition to makeup items and gave it to Vee so she can help me apply them on. Since the last time I watched a makeup tutorial on YouTube was like...um...I don't know, forever years ago

Vee did a wonderful work with my eyes, she game me these smoky eyes that really brought out my honey brown eyes and my hair, even my dress, I didn't even know that was possible. We took some pictures and selfies,  I have to say, I really miss her. I've forgotten the last time we were this comfortable with each other, and it felt really, really nice. I loved how it wasn't awkward like it normally used to be in school.

When we'd finally parked and clambered out of the car, a cool breeze invited us into the twilight. We waited for Caden to finally climbed off the car

Of course he'd take his sweet-ass time

I rolled my eyes. "Before we're ninety would be nice"

"I promise, the food isn't going anywhere, you're going to live" Caden mockingly said as his feet finally touched the gravel, and I shot him an unimpressed look.

The inside was decorated with no expense spared, all glittering chandeliers, luxurious dark wood, and perfectly ironed table cloths enveloped in a warm glow. Other than my cousin's weedings or graduations here and there, my dine-out experiences usually consisted of the Taco bell variety, maybe a subway thrown in there for good measure. So to say I was impressed was an understatement, a bit thankful I wasn't underdressed.

"This is what we call a restaurant, my dear hobbit, please don't get too excited" Caden mused next to me, a smirk settled on his face

I guess my face mirrored my thoughts

But how dare he!

"It was my idea you stupid dipshit! You literally wanted to take her to some tacky McDonald's!" I hissed, trying to whisper, so the rest don't hear.

While it had been sad, this had been my first date. And it was a double date. And Caden was there, but still. Crossing it off my memory checklist was undoubtedly a little exhilarating.

Aiden sat across from me while Caden was next to him, across from Vee. Glancing at the menu, my eyes widened as they rolled over the prices. I was definitely ordering just water, I mean...all I have is twenty bucks.

Our waitress materialized at the end of our table. "Are you guys ready to order food?" The waitress asked, blinking up at us with pen and a notepad in hand.

"I was thinking of getting the California green salad" Vee piped in, eyes still rolling over the menu, before looking up to the waitress with a smile.

"I'll also get the same thing. California greens" Caden said with a pleased smile that made me want to wipe it up with my fist.

I made a face at him, he then stylishly gave me a view of his middle finger before inching his finger across the table, closer to where Vee's hand was resting. Breathing in deep, I reminded myself if I jumped over and slammed his face into the table I might be charged with assault. So instead, I reluctantly swallowed and exhaled.

"I'll have the teriyaki steak" I smiled all too pleasantly, pushing my menu across the table and purposely hitting Caden's stupid hand in the process "Thank you"

By the time food came around, hope was already dwindling, it was small talk abound, and even though I tried to get a word in, Caden was annoyingly relentless. He was pelting Vee with question after question, constantly cutting Vee, Aiden and I.

Believe me when I say, I like the conversations just us three.

I'd given up trying to throw a word in because of the comments I get back from Caden, and focused back to my steak.

It was pretty classy. And very delicious, really, as in way above my pay grade but probably the best thing I was ever going to eat.
