Stories Of the Fore

"The tale of emiturusu?" I asked hungry to be told whatever it was.

"Yes, I assume you haven't heard it then?" Norii stated the obvious

"I wish I knew" I began. "Why don't you tell me?"

"Well then," the story began to unfold.

"Emiturusu was the first to conjure matter, energy and all that was worth around him into a weapon of destruction and hope. It was known as aratkinasu, the first energy. Some people will say the first magic" As he spoke, I could feel the radiance coming from his body like his whole being was the story itself.

Nevertheless, I listened carefully like a child at the feet of his grandparents ready to be impacted by wisdom: "Ever heard of Kuff?"

I shook my head negatively, of course I didn't know who this Kuff guy was.

"He is one of Mëne's oldest of gods, the pioneers, he's the god of chaos and natural evil."

"And what part did he play in all of this?" I asked calmly but eagerly.

"He poisoned this first seed of magic, and it got into emiturusu's head, made a mirage of his mind, created from natural evil, akatsikuna; soul travelling."

"What?" I incredulously spat out. "I'm sorry you've got to make this clear to me because you've lost me here."

"Soul traveling-"

"I need a full explanation of what it is" I didn't let him finish his statement.

"Then, the story continues", he calmly told. "Soul travelling is the moment of the soul willingly in search of chaos, destruction, coarse, to gather and nature till it had created another evil of natural origin, it is usually performed through psionic."

I stared at Norii in disbelief as I kept asking myself what it was that was not.

"Emiturusu had lost his mind to Kuff's akatsikuna, feeding it to grow at will and choice unguarded, naturally and gradually diminishing the power of aratkinasu, truth and the light bringer."

"Hmmmmmm" I breathed out through slightly opened lips.

"Aajaye, the son of Kuff saw the coming from the end and knew if his father's puppet wasn't stopped everything would be vanquished. He gave a portion of his strength to aratkinasu, and from thence the battle of the mind began, aratkinasu fought endlessly with akatsikuna leaving emiturusu mad, out of his mind. Two psionic beings fighting for residence in a single construct of the human component, the mind. It wasn't a sight of joy to behold. But in the end, three things can never be hidden; light, truth and darkness no matter how so you try, the balance has to be scaled properly."

The last part got me thinking what his point was...

"The victory fell in Aratkinasu's favour, but emiturusu was never the same again. He had experienced what no man had ever felt before, and to protect everyone from such a curse, akatsikuna was banished to be passed from generation to generation as a prisoner in the minds of a family from Kurajir"

"What!?" Wide-eyed I almost shrieked

"The Amakinja's" Norii informed. "Your family. I didn't connect the dots before and that's why I was surprised but now I see the answer which had been lying in front of me the whole time."

"What answer?"

"The coven's curse restrains, the red brojack" Norii said. "It is very difficult to decipher the original restrain from the make-believe."

"What make-believe?" I was confused. " I'm sorry but this brojack has been a tribal symbol for the Kurajirs"

"Yes, it is but it was also a sign that showed and told others that the Kurajirs were the bearers of the curse of the mind. Which family it was? No one knew"

"How did you know?"

"Because I felt the lightning, the tinkling as it passed from you to me moments ago before you woke up" His face was turned towards me, and I felt like I was being accessed " You don't remember do you?"

"Remember what?"

"What happened that day?"

"What day?" He was making me more confused than ever. I feel I was getting more of this confusion as a daily dose of every day I spent in Imponu's cave.

"The day Kurajir died to the world."
