The Undying

In the campsite of the northerners, southeast of the Twins. The lords were clamoring because of the news of Twins being taken over in the name of the north.

Roose Bolton: "How did you take it over?"

R: "Unsurmountable odds. Who can defeat thirty thousand men which is seven times larger than theirs?"

Greatjon Umber: "What did you do to these Rats?"

R: "I gave punishment to them."

Rickard Karstark: "Punishment? Kill them?"

R: "I had an inspiration from the Boltons. I flayed the murderer that kill for no reason while they are still alive and had the next person watching. Cut off the cocks of the rapist, cooked it, and fed it to them. After that, I killed them. Cut off one hand of thieves and send them to the north. Even with my people helping the Night's Watch, they will appreciate some additional men."

Maege Mormont: "How many did you send to the wall?"

R: "Five hundred from the four thousand. There are still women and children but I will take responsibility for them. As for guarding the Twins, my own five hundred men will do it."

Maege: "Why not make some of our men protect it?"

R: "Let's get this out. For all of you. I do not fight for just Robb Stark or his father. I fight for the entirety of the north. From beyond the wall to the south of Twins."

Greatjon: "YOU'RE INCLUDING THE WILDLINGS?! IS THAT WHY WE DON'T SEE THEM ANYMORE PAST OF THE GIFT?! BECAUSE YOU'RE PROTECTING THEM?!"

From the eyes of the people in the gathering, Raizen disappears from his spot. The next thing they know, he was holding Greatjon in one hand raised above his head and lightly choking him.

R: "If you survive the war, maybe I will tell you the reason."

Raizen throws Greatjon to a wall near him and walks out from the gathering.

Rickard: "What a monster. Does he have the blood of giants to be able to do that?"

Robb: "I do not know. Whenever he is in Winterfell, he talks to my father more, cooks the food when supper time, and teaches my brothers and sisters about fighting. My father tests his skills in fighting and not even fifty men can best him."

Greatjon: "Ugh... When did that happen? Why are we only hearing this now? You know, if you could have told us that, maybe I won't question his character."

Robb: "It was done in secret and those men become guards for my father when he went to King's Landing. He only told me before going of what happened but I didn't believe it until now."

The other people began clamoring again but one is having a hard time making a decision.

After the gathering of the lords, Robb look for Raizen and he saw him again reading a letter.

Robb: "What is it this time?"

R: "The army that was sent to march to Golden Tooth came across the army of the retreating Riverlords' army. Then the next day, they fought the forces of Jaime Lannister and decimated their army. Other than Jaime Lannister, there are some lords and heirs that were captured by my men and were held captive near the Stone Hedge."

Robb: "If you are continuing your march to the Golden Tooth, how many abled bodies are there now?"

R: "Out of the thirty thousand that came from the Gift. Five hundred were in Twins. Five hundred went to the wall because of the Freys. Ten thousand with your army and no one died."

Robb: "Nineteen thousand soldiers. What about horses?"

R: "No horses."

Robb: "How did they fight the calvary of the kingslayer?"

R: "Come with me. Ask your horsemen to come too. I'll show you how they defeated him."

Robb followed Raizen with fifty horsemen through the camp until they saw an intimidating formation of soldiers.

Their armors have some spikes in some parts of it. The helmet covers their heads and only has slits diagonally for them to see but not a common design. They also have a long tasset that covers from their waist to below the knees. They look more like knights of the south rather than warriors of the north.

They have shields that can cover them from foot to their neck which look heavy even for the Umbers that boast about strength.

And spears but look like a sword with a longer handle.

The people were gathering near the standing soldiers. Some say that they have been standing for almost a day without moving.

Greatjon: "I thought they were northerners, why do they look like those knights from the south?!"

R: "The army was raised in Essos to defeat other sellswords, unsullied and Dothraki riders. The army needs to be intimidating and with how they look, the people will need to pay more if they want to use the company of the rose."

Rickard: "They don't look rosy to me. They are more like the Targaryen's army."

R: "They did say something like that but more of the Valyrian army. As they say from there, there is no such thing as bad publicity. But we are not here to criticize my army but to see how they could defeat the calvary of Jaime Lannister near the Riverrun."

Raizen ordered his soldiers to do a phalanx without using the spears and told Robb to let his horsemen charge against it. Robb gave the signal for the charge and in a matter of a minute, they now know how the kingslayer was defeated.

The horses didn't even make the phalanx move from the formation. Some men also tried to slash their swords at the soldier which the latter did not even feel as if nothing has happened.

The horsemen tried again twice but the result was the same as the first time.

R: "Does that answer how I defeated Jaime Lannister?"

Rickard: "Yes but not why you keep saying his name instead of kingslayer all this time."

R: "True, he is a kingslayer but I will give him respect for some things."

Robb: "What do you know of him?"

R: "Gather the lords then I will tell."

When all the lords of the north have been gathered. Raizen started his story from what he knew.

R: "We all know that all the dragons died from the civil war between the Targaryens."

Greatjon: "We all know that. What is new?"

R; "Wildfire, the remaining Targaryens instruct for the creation of it. It is the one used to kill Eddard Stark's father and brother. When the rebellion was at the final part, the Mad King tried to order the pyromancers to burn the city of King's Landing with his enemies. But before that, Jaime Lannister killed Aerys earning him the title of Kingslayer."

Robb: "If that is the truth, why not tell?"

R: "He was already labeled by your father as such and no one would believe a kingslayer in times of war."

Maege: "How did you know of all these?"

R: "I roam around King's Landing whenever I'm not teaching Arya with swords. One day, I went to see the pyromancers and buy wildfires from them for the wall. While waiting, he let me see the barrels upon barrels of wildfires beneath King's Landing. And because they were already old, some talk about their past, and when I ask about the rebellion if they know something about it. From then, I put together the stories and came to that conclusion."

Roose: "How true is this ?"

R: "True enough that there is still wildfire below King's Landing as of now. If we continue our march to the capital, they will use it against us."

Robb: "What about an attack from the sea? What if we include them in our army?"

R: "The Ironborns? I doubt it."

Theon came forward to tell his idea.

Theon: "I will go. I will tell my father to help Robb to fight the Lannister."

R: "I heard that the Ironborns were stupid and they think with their cocks rather than their heads. They only fight for themselves and what benefits them. Besides..."

Robb: "What is it?"

R: "I told you before that I left some of my men to guard the shores of the north. What do you think my men saw in the water?"

Maege: "Ironborns?"

R: "Yes, a few of those ships were going to bear islands."

Every other lord was now looking at Theon to get some answers.

R: "No, he was not a spy for them. Before I first came to Westeros, I sent spies to know some information like who controls the lands, how they are divided, allies, enemies. To this day, there are sending me reports of what is happening even the losing battles of Tywin Lannister at the High Hearth. After crossing Horn Vale, he started losing men from the "Brotherhood of no Banners" and got stuck at the Hearth. He was expecting a reply from three houses to help lessen or delay his enemies. Which houses do you think were?"

Everyone looks at each other because they think that one among them is a traitor.

Maege: "The Freys and Ironborns!"

R: "Yes, when Tyrion Lannister was held captive by Catelyn Stark. Tywin already knew what might happen and sent ravens to them and promise them benefits after defeating the north."

Theon: "What would happen to my people!?"

R: "The same as the Freys. But instead of flaying, they will meet their drowned god personally. The nine thousand of my army that was on their way to the Golden tooth will divert themselves and take over the iron islands."

Theon: "YOU CAN'T DO THAT!"

R: "I can and I should. I wonder why the people of Westeros don't just erase the Ironborns from its land. They pillaged, raped, kill and take whatever they want. If they have stayed in their holes and did not bother the north, I would let them live a little longer. But they made a wrong decision. Though I'm not a monster as they are, I will let the innocents live, reeducated them, and pledge their loyalty for the north."

Roose: "Do you plan to conquer Westeros? You already started with the Freys and the Ironborns. What's next? The Tullys?"

R: "No, yours."

Before Roose Bolton could say something, the lords in the gathering heard shouts in their camp.

Robb and the others quickly got out of the tent and saw the army of Raizen killing the men of the Boltons. Roose unsheaths his sword and swing towards Raizen to kill him. Any other person would try and dodge a sword but not Raizen. He caught the sword by clapping his hands together and pulled Roose towards him giving a powerful kick to the stomach which made him let go of the sword.

Rickard: *trying to stop Raizen* "Why are you doing this?! Explain yourself!"

R: "I did tell you that Tywin Lannister is waiting for a reply from three houses. Two were already named."

Robb: "You don't mean?"

Instead of replying, Raizen handed Robb a letter that indicates for Roose Bolton to create chaos in the northerner's camp whether setting fires, using his men as bandits to destroy their food supply or starting a coup.

Robb: *passing the letter to the other lords* "When did you get this letter?"

R: "Earlier, before the demonstration of my men."

Robb: "So that is what you are reading back then."

R: "My spy intercepted the raven before it flew off far away from Tywin's camp. He probably plans to lessen your forces because even he already lose two thousand men just by staying on the Heart."

Greatjon: "What will you do to Roose Bolton?"

Raizen looked at the Bolton.

R: "Did you know that your son, Domeric Bolton, was killed by your bastard, Ramsay Snow?"

Roose: "What?!"

R: "Oh it's true. When taking over your land, my men found your bastard torturing a child. So they give him his own medicine. He cries like a little girl especially with the procedure that came from Essos. He spills some secrets, including your plan to take over the north with the help of Tywin Lannister."

Greatjon: "Fcking traitor!"

Greatjon wanted to kill Roose but was stopped by Raizen.

R: "Wait! It's better to let him and his men go to the wall."

Rickard: "You are letting this traitor go?! Are you mad?!"

R: "Do you want to take his place?"

Rickard Karstark did say anything and back off.

R: "He will be going to the wall but not as part of the Night's Watch. He will cross the wall with his men. Cocks and one arm cut. *face Roose* Do not worry, we have medicine that can stop the bleeding so you and your men won't die traveling. You will be either die at the hands of the wildlings, the freezing cold of the north because we will not lend you any coat, or... maybe in less than ten years we will see you again. I told you and I will repeat it again, I fight for the north, and whoever harms it will die."

One of Raizen's men took Roose Bolton away. After that, the cries of men in the camp were heard by all the people.

Two days later after the lords explain to their men what had happened. They now understand why it was necessary and loath the men of the Boltons. Another gathering was conducted when a new message came from the Lannister's camp and from King's Landing.

Robb: "The Lannisters tried to take supplies from the villages around them but were stopped by the brotherhood and the people from the Harrenhal. My father almost died if not for Tyrion delaying the trial but it won't take long before Joffrey gets impatient."

R: "Then I would need to save both Sansa and Ned right now."

Robb: "Let some men come with you."

R: "No, I will do it alone. With my remaining eight thousand men, harass the camp of Tywin every night. Don't let them sleep or rest."

Rickard: "Why not just defeat them and kill Tywin. Your men are strong, very strong. We all saw them when you kill the Boltons while stopping the others from doing so because they were still ignorant then."

R: "If you know that then you also know that they will not follow Robb especially since Eddard Stark is still alive. Even if he is here, they listen to me first before your father. Look, I'm not trying to kill every enemy we encounter because if I do, only the people of the north will remain. Do you want that? Besides, the Freys were traitors to the Tully. Ironborns would raid the north. I helped the Tully because of familial connection and destroy the Boltons because they don't like the Starks and traitors like the Freys. I did everything for a reason. So if you want my men to fight unnecessary battles, better give me a good reason."

Raizen walkout from the tent and leave them to think for themselves.
