Raizen then stops falling and just keeps floating above the clouds. From below, he sees vast green lands, and from afar to the right of it is a desert. To the left is a vast ocean.

Ye Zong: "Who are you?! How did you get here?!"

??: "Uhm... Through the front door, I guess. You are so busy, that if an assassin comes here. You'll be dead and it will distress Ye Ziyun and become her heart demon. It will greatly affect her cultivation."

Ye Zong: *pointing a sword* "I said who are you!?"

??: "Relax dude. Like I told you, if I am an assassin then you wouldn't know you died. You didn't even see me come in. Raizen by the way." *looking for a chair to sit on*

R: "Well I needed a place to stay and you being a City Lord and all will help me with that."

YZong: "There are people that can handle..."

YZong: "What are you implying?"

R: *smiling and not answering* "Unless you want a Legendary Rank practitioner to leave Glory City"

Raizen floats slowly to the door and opens it without touching it.

YZong: "What! Wait wait! I can give you a place to stay"

R: "I don't need it. Just letting you know that I am here. Also, don't even think of telling about me to others. Not your brother. Not your daughter or anyone. Only you alone. Are we clear?"

After he said that, Raizen release a pressure that only Ye Zong felt which made him drop to the ground. Then he left the mansion leaving Ye Zong sweating on the ground.

Raizen now is looking around the market near the Holy Orchid Institute after the bells. The women around keep looking at him for being too handsome. Some even tried talking to him and asking who he was. Then he saw Shen Yue looking at him being jealous of the attention. Shen Yue then looks at the coming Ye Ziyun and clearly shows her that he can buy the item that the other students can't buy.

When Shen Yue's plan fails to woo Ye Ziyun with the use of the money he has. He quickly left before he embarrassed himself further.

Nie Li then told the others to prepare because they will do some hunting to gain demon spirit coins.

While they were hunting, Xiao Ning'er was already cultivating her soul force.

??: "You know, it's not recommended for a person to cultivate at night because of the Yin properties that float around in this time of day. Unless you have a constitution that negates the bad consequences. Have a great quality cultivation technique that you don't have in possession or someone that can help you fix the side effects."

XNing: "Who are you?!"

??: "Your the second person that asked me that in this city"

XNing: "In this city? Are you from outside Glory City?"

??: "Something like that but not in the places mentioned by your classmate Nie Li. Don't bother telling him because either he doesn't know or won't tell."

XNing: "Lord Ye Mo is always away out of Glory City and he would never help someone like me. *look at the smiling person* ...do you know someone?"

The person she was having a conversation with is now walking towards her. She steps back once but then the person was already so close to her.

When they were talking a moment ago. The face of the person was being covered by the shadow of the tree that he was leaning on. Now that the person was close enough to her, his face is being illuminated by the moonlight and she is being mesmerized by his smile. She was blushing while looking back and forth between his blue eyes and lips. She unconsciously bit her lower lips and the person smirked at her. Then the person put his right hand to her head and pat her. After that, he walked away after saying something.

??: "We will meet again..."

XNing: "Wait..."

Xiao Ning'er wanted to say more but when she noticed that she stepped forward using the foot that was supposed to have bruised but felt nothing. She inspect it and she saw no bruises. She then touched her rib with the bruised part but there was nothing there and no pain.

She looked in the direction the person went but she did not even see his silhouette. After that, she went home and have a good sleep for the first time after she was told about the marriage.

The next day, a new small restaurant was opened at the front of the restaurant owned by the Sacred family. Some people think that the person that opened it wanted to slap the face of the Sacred family. Directly opening a shop against the shop that the Sacred family owns is like telling them that he is not afraid.

Some people tried to make trouble inside the little shop but they got out with big bellies and walked quite happy. Someone even set the shop on fire but the next day it looks like nothing had happened.

Then a representative of the Sacred family came to tell that they own the land even though they were lying but they saw the City Lord eating in that shop and told the people that came that the shop is owned by the Snow-Wind family so the Sacred family back off with there aggressions.

The only thing good about it for the Sacred family is that it only operates for fours a day, four days a week so they still have the majority of the customers. But whenever the time the store is opened, more people were going there.

Even though the price of the food is higher than what the Sacred family serves, customers still go and eat there. Not only the food is delicious, but the cook was also said to be so handsome that some customers just pay to stay for the duration of the store being opened.

A week after the restaurant of the Snow Wind family opened...

Xiao Ning'er was curious about the store that was situated in front of the Sacred family's restaurant so she went there to try the food. She wouldn't have expected that the person that helped her was working as a cook in the restaurant. She waited till the shop closed and wanted to talk to the person.

XNing: "Hello... Do you still remember me? *looking at the person closing the store.*

??: *smiles at her* "Let us talk inside"

While they were walking inside, a person from the Sacred Family saw them go inside the shop. He then reported what he saw to Shen Fei. Shen Fei was very angry at what he had heard but he can not make any moves to the shop that is being owned by the Snow Wind Family. Even the cook is so mysterious. Whenever he closes the shop, he always disappears. The people that were always following him failed to find him. It got to a point that a Black Gold cultivator was the one doing it but that person too failed to see the guy. They conclude that the person is at least a 5-star Black Gold rank and might be put there to survey their restaurant.

Back inside the shop...

Xiao Ning'er's heart is beating fast because she notices that they are the only people inside the shop. Then the person sits in front of her and started talking.

??: "So you found me." *smiling at her*

XNing: "Yes, I wanted to thank you for helping with my condition but that is not all. When I cultivated the next day, I suddenly broke through the 1-star Bronze rank. Then three days after that I achieve a 2-star Bronze rank. I can only guess that you are the one that help me to get started to take my freedom. Thank you."

??: "I did help you with your condition but I am not the one who helped you get to 2-star Bronze rank. Maybe it's the accumulated energy from your body that you collected from your desperation that helped you. Because if based on what you said, then you should be at 3-star Bronze rank by now."

XNing: "I noticed that my cultivation slowed down after that."

??: "Probably because of your cultivation manual"

XNing: "Capable of reaching Black Gold rank"

??: "No Legendary rank?"

Xiao Ning'er tried the manual because she trust him. She then recite the manual but the third one is very different from the first that she recited.

Then a gust of wind and lightning came from her that blew away some chairs and tables. A few seconds later, the wind stopped blowing and Xiao Ning'er opens her eyes.

XNing: "Incredible!"

??: "I'll say... You jump from 2-star to 5-star Bronze rank. What happened?"

XNing: "When I finished reciting the manual something click inside my head as if opening a door and new mantras poured inside my head to recite. That new manual probes my body. Then a new manual was created. I began reciting the third manual and it felt like a dress that is the perfect fit for me. I felt so comfortable then I notice my soul force increasing quickly so I continue reciting until I hit a thin wall. I could feel even now that I will be able to become a Silver rank demon spiritualist if I pushed it further but as if the manual is telling me to stay for a while in the Bronze rank."

??: "That is great! That means the manual is compatible with you and even helps you with your foundations."

XNing: *shakes her head* "No, It's thanks to you that I have this power. Not only that you helped me with my condition. You even allowed me to get out of my marriage."

??: "The manual probably knows that you need strength to move forward."

XNing: "Even so, thank you, Raizen"

R: "So you knew."

XNing: "The girls in the class, the women on the market, and even the maids at home keep talking about your cooking and how handsome you are." *giggles*

R: "Handsome huh? I am handsome?" *getting his face close to Ning'er while touching it as if looking for something*

Xiao Ning'er just laughs at his antics.

Xiao Ning'er stops laughing and looks at his sincere eyes. It is not like the ones that the other people look at her. Not because she is beautiful, has good potential, or because she came from a good family. He is looking at her as Xiao Ning'er. Now the two of them were looking at each other's eyes.

Raizen then broke the mood...

R: "You should go now... I will not be here for the following days."

XNing: "You would go away?" *looking sad*

R: "No, I will just be accepting a catering service. I would go to an aristocrat's house and cook for their banquet."
