A Vacation?!

"I don't understand Goddess Fate, what could I have done to deserve the chance to go to a world of my choosing"

A vacation was a very special reward that was only given to those who had completed an immensely important task, only a few of them had been given out in the history of the Knights, it was a great honor, and an even greater chance be ause what ever skills you get in the vacation, you keep for the rest of you immortal life.

Fate seemed to realise my thoughts as she gave me a warm smile "it is because of your most recent adventure into the world of Eden that you deserve his honor, the power of the life steal was a dangerous weapon, and it had fallen into the wrong hands, I could have led to the destruction of one of Mothers favorite worlds, it is because of this that she her self has given you this chance"

Her words shocked me, Fey her self had given me this chance, this was an honor amongst honors.

"Goddess Fate... I... I don't know what to say" I was shocked to my core, this was my dream, to travel to a world of my choosing and gain powers that would help me become a better Knight of Fate, this was all of our dreams.

When me and my close brothers in arms when out on group missions, we would often talk about what would we do and where would we go.

And my answer always the same.

In my past life, I had been a major Otaku, I had read almost every top titles out there and even most of the more obscure and more interesting titles as well.

But there was one in particular that I always loved.

The world of Danmachi (Is It Wrong To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon) was my all time favorite, the dream of becoming a Adventurer, Conquering the dungeon, and joining a Familia, all of this was a dream of mine at least it was before I became a Knight of Fate because I was already living such a life, each world had its own mechanics, and some of them happened to be based off anime, I had already been in worlds such as DxD and One Piece, but this would be the first time I'd get to explore me of those worlds at my own pace.

"so, which world would be the one for you, Alpha" Fate said with a knowing smile

"The world of Danmachi" I said with a smile on my face.

Fate nodded her head "I had a feeling that that would be the one you chose, just had to make sure, now I'm sure that you also know the second part of the Vacation package" she said while she say down at a small table that materialized from thin air.

"Yes Goddess Fate, As part of the rule set by Goddess Fey, each Knoght of Fate on Vacation gets two wishes, this is so they can change anything they wanted about he world they were going to or make any specific wishes to have certain abilities, I can assure you that I already know mine" I said.

She nodded he head once more "very well tell me each of your wishes and then do me a favour and explain them for me why you had chosen those wishes, I wish to know the reasons behind your choices" she said, looking off into the sky.

I nodded to Goddess Fate "for my first wish I want to be able to use my Fate Powers in the World of Danmachi, I choose this because on vacation I know that we can't be allowed to use our powers, and for my second wish... Well I guess I will just wish or a unique growth skill, something that allows me to grow faster, but not like Bells Skill, I want it to work not on emotions, but on the urge to grow, I choose this because I want to grow as fast as possible so I can become a better Knight of Fate" I explained to Goddess Fate.

She smiled at me and nodded "these are all excellent wishes, but the first one with have to be changed to something more... tame, its all good to keep them but it's just that they will have to be heavenly restricted, they will become more unrestricted the more powerful you become, and as an extra gift from me I'll give you some magic when the right time comes... Now that the wishes are made, you must leave my Realm and go back to the entrance after stepping through the door you will wake up in the world you have chosen, have fun Alpha, you'll have to tell me all about your adventures when you get back" she said, waving me goodbye.

After walking for a few minutes and finally making my way back to the entrance, taking a deep breath I closed my eyes, opened the door and stepped through.

This... Was going to be very fun.
