Servant of Fate

I opened my eyes.

The warmth of the familiar white void that stretched out in all directions for eons wrapped itself around me and dug into my body warming my bones.

*sigh*

I breath a sigh of relief, and let my stress wash out of me.

"well... That was fucking terrible" I say as a slight smile crawled itself onto my face as my memories slowly started to settle bCk in my head.

My name is Logan Harrison

A long time ago I was a carpenter, but I got a much cooler job since then.

I'm am now Designation: Alpha14072004, one of the Goddess of Fate's loyal Knights, I work as one of her top assistants, me and my brothers in arms, the Knights of Fate, travel the multiverse and Fix problems that are too small or too big for her to fix.

We are immortals, at least now we are, most of us were chosen by the Goddesses mother, Fey. She is the Goddess of the Worlds voice, that is the ultimate power in the multiverse that holds it together and keeps it in balance.

Once chosen we could rather keep living as mortals and forget that we had met the gods, or we could serve her as her daughter's loyal guards and assistants.

And right now, I have just come back from my assignment in a World named Eden, it was a medieval world with magic and Knigths.

I had been there to take down a Necromancer and take back the power he had stolen from a shrine that belonged to Feys worshippers, the power was the ability to take the life energy from other people and add it too your own. This power was meant to on.y be used by a villain in the far future.

As fate had decreed it to be a, it must be, and who am I to go against fate her self, she is my master.

As I finished going through my memories, making sure that the gods didn't miss anything, I looked around to see if any one had also came back from their missions.

no one had.

I was alone.

*sigh*

"well guess I should head to see Fate and see about my next assignment"

I jumped up off the floor and summoned my Gods Remnant, the Armor and sword that I was given once I became a Knight of Fate.

The armour was a intricate leather armour with a red coat and a large sheath on my back, the sword was a simple and plain knights sword with a small stone set into the hilt just before the blade can out.

These may look like a simple knights clothes and sword, but they are far from that, the armour can self heal and has resistances from every element or damage type known in the multiverse, and the sword is similar if not better than the armour, it can pierce the toughest of armour with enough force behind it and like the armour can self heal, the sword can also change shape into a dagger and also act as a conductive rod for my Fate powers, boosting them to the next level.

The powers of Fate are even more impressive than the armour, the powers of fate have three ways of use. First was a mark of Fate, these we're symbols that I could channel the different types of Fate energy into to give of certain effects. Second was a domain of Fate, a set area where my powers could be boosted and could even bend the laws of reality it self under the right conditions. And lastly was my Fate sword arts, this was my most powerful set of techniques, these techniques guaranteed a boost in speed, power and output of magical energy.

As I put on my God Remnant, a door formed from the void in front of me.

This was the door to Fates realm, the place where my master worked tirelessly to uphold Fate and keep everything on track.

I opened the door, and walked through.

As I did the white void disappeared and it was replaced with a magnificent garden.

There were flowers from every world here and a pond with fish from every ocean.

All of this was just an illusion of course, the realm looked a lot more different from this, it was actually just a white void with red strings of Fate scattered everywhere.

All this garden memt was that she was taking a break because all of her Kighs of Fate were out, it also meant she didn't know I was here.

But as I didn't want to scare her I decided to make my presence known instead of scaring her.

"Goddess Fate, I make my presence known!" I said loudly.

Then as a mirage shimmers out of existence, The Goddess of Fate shimmered into existence in front of my eyes.

She was a beauty to behold, she had jade white skin, long pale blue hair tha5 was braided and a pair of magnificent crystal blue eyes, she wore a green and red kimono with a pattern embroidered I to the back, it was a gold pair of scissors cutting a ribbon of similar colour.

"My knight, you have returned, I did not notice your presence, I was distracted with other matters, brother is here visiting from the plane of Chaos, and since mother is busy with her Job as the Multiverse itself, I must take care of the little idiot" she said as she guided me towards the location where she previously was.

As I walked a ton the land where she and her brother were I saw him, Chaos, the reason that my job has become so hard lately.

He was very short, about the size of an 8 year old child, he had pale skin and pitch black hair and all red eyes, he wore a robe similar to Fates, but he had a more Gothic theme to it with made him look more menacing than he actually was.

"Ah, this is why you left me so suddenly sister, you little plaything had arrived from his time in another world" he said while glaring daggers at me.

It was no secret that Chaos hated us Knights of Fate, we were the reason he was stuck being so weak, so whenever he met one of us he would demean us, he had even killed a few of us in the past.

"Lord Chaos, your words cut deep, but are they not the words of a child" I said with a grin.

This made him a little mad, which caused Fate to step in, hitting us both on the head.

"stop it you two, Alpha I expected more from you, and you Little brother, I expect you to treat my Knights with kindness, they keep the multiverse from falling apart when I can not, with out them there would be no worlds left, making you irrelevant and killing you" she said with a hint of anger in her voice.

I bowed my head in shame, I had only ever met chaos twice before and both time he had caused me to lose my cool and a ap back at him, each time Fate had to step in, which made my heart ache a little.

It was no secret to the gods that many of the Knights of Fate had feelings for Fate, it as we're were not Full Immortals, we could not be together.

I was one of the few who didn't know this at first so I had made the mistake of asking her to go out with me.

It was a little embarrassing.

After Chaos left it was just me and Fate, it was a little awkward at first, but after a little bit she seems to have remembered something.

"Alpha, I have a surprise for you, because of you recent victories in the Multiverse, along with your undieing loyalty to me and my mother, we have decided... To give you a vacation"
