"In short, the cause of your hair loss is because of accumulated stress, perhaps if you take a vacation from skulduggery a sprout would emerge from your shiny head."

"Shut up already! I swear if Ya don't shut up I'll beat you up! Just you wait till we meet Zanis."

"Calm down Brel! Zanis told us not to touch him yet!"

"Argh! I want to beat him up already!"

I soon arrived at the Soma Familia base. I realized I have never been here during the day. It is always either at sunset and before sunrise. Now that I look at it, the Soma Familia was quite huge despite being a lifestyle familiar who focuses on selling wines. There are about fifty or more level 1s present in the familia, and two level 2s if I remember correctly. I begin marking Zanis' thugs. It was a breeze to them, all of them seemed to be idiots screaming we're gang members.

As I enter the gates I hear a familiar voice shouting. When I look at the source, it was Arde up high on the roofs.

"Get down 'ere ya brat!" Said the group of wounded thugs

"Lily will head out now, see you soon suckers!" Arde shouts then stick her tongue out.

Looks like my disciple has become quite a trouble maker. Arde notice my gaze and glanced back at me, for a moment her eyes narrowed as cold sweat start dripping from my back. Luckily, she became disinterested soon and left by the roofs. I saw her skillfully parkour on the roofs as she left.

I sighed in relief. I guess it's my time to make a move now. As my steps reach the centre of the courtyard, I threw a punch at the back of the head of the level 1 baldy in front of me. He was instantly knocked out, this act alerted the other escorts.

"Brel! Bastard! What did you do!"

"You're dead meat kid!"

As soon as their words end, the brawl starts. But I was already a step ahead. I assumed a boxing stance and threw a hook on the one on my left. The slowpoke was still trying to register what happened but the punch already landed on his face and he too was knocked out. Two down, two more to go. The one on my back was going to grab me but I already have predicted it, my quick feet simply move out the way, and a shovel hook aimed at his face emerges as I turn around. He went down without much of a fight. The last one has thrown a punch at me, but I simply leaned away from it and shot a straight at him. He too was knocked out. Four down, and now more to go. The small brawl lasted in mere seconds, but now it's about to get bigger.

"Bastard! quick! call everyone here! It's an enemy attack!"

The commotion attracted the others attention. I continue to assume a boxing stance as I advance at them. Although I am simply imitating what I have seen, my boxing stance was completed thanks to my superior observation. As I weave towards my targets, knocking them out one by one, It became apparent to them that they were outmatched. So they draw their weapons. With my superior speed and the fact that I had disgested the Thief potion, A bunch of low tier level 1 are simply walking targets with useless sticks in their hands.

"Argh! Help, he dislocated my arm!"

"Just kill him already!"

"Someone call Zanis-sama and Chandra-sama!"

As the shouting of pain and frustration gets louder, it soon attracted Zanis and the others. Proudly, Zanis accompanied by the raccoon man.

"That's him Zanis-sama!" The raccoon man said as he pointed at me.

"You're done now, kid! Zanis-sama is here!"

The crowd of cowardly thugs start jeering. I honestly couldn't stop my self from laughing at their stupidity so I laughed.

"Hahaha! So the great captain of our familia. What did you call me here for?"

Zanis smugly looked at me and said the following words that could launch my sides towards the orbit.

"So you're Lupin Hood. For now, why don't we talk more calmly, surely a bottle of good wine could fix our estrange relationship, we're of the same familia after all."

I continue to laugh behind my mask. As expected, an ambitious scumbag will be a slimy bastard through the end. I can't say I hate him, we're cut from the same clothes after all.

"How about this for an answer-."

I slightly removed the Mask of Average. Enough to show my mouth. Then.

"*Ptooey*"

I spat on the ground. What I dislike the most is people who looked down on me and wants me to be their toy.

"A dog is a dog after all."

Zanis sighed as he said, then his face contorted in anger.

"I'll kill you!"

Zanis drew his sword and lunged at me, I on the other hand was already tired of this side quest, simply drew my revolver and shot his legs as he approaches me.

*Bang* *Bang*

"Ayyyiieee!"

Zanis faceplanted in pain while crying like a little girl. As expected of the weakest level 2. I approach the downed Zanis and kicked away his sword.

"What have you done! Argh!" Zanis cried

"You see Zanis, I didn't come here to dance around your tune. I came here to teach you a lesson you will never forget!" I said smiling as I grab ahold of his head.

I begin the process of educating him. And by educating, I mean beating the shit out of him.

"Zanis-sama!"

"Someone help Zanis-sama!"

"Y-you do it!"

As the crowd of frightened thugs wail. My punches resounded throughout the courtyard.

"Ahh! You sure are the best Zanis! To think you could make my day this better after ruining it! I'm grateful!"

As I beat him up to a pulp, someone dared reprimand me.

"That should be enough Lupin Hood, you have already vent your anger enough." A gruff voice said.

Looking at the source, it was a level 2 burly dwarf. He should be the vice-captain of the familia, Chandra Ihit, unlike Zanis, he's a reasonable man. He was accompanied by three other girls. One of the girls had silvery hair with bunny ears wearing a yukata and chest bandage on her side was a katana. The other had beautiful black hair with fox ears wearing a shrine maiden outfit. The last one was a pallum with puffy green hair. All three should be near Arde's age.

"Chandra! Help me! Kill this bastard!" Zanis cried for help

I punched him in the face to shut him up.

"Well, well, if it isn't our vice-captain! well met, but as you can see I'm teaching our captain an important lesson." humour lingers in my voice as I talk

Chandra's stoic face turned serious, as he readies he put his hand on the hilt of his weapon.

"What exactly is the lesson here Lupin Hood? As a fellow familia, you should be more lenient in your lessons." Chandra said threatened

I smiled widely. It's great talking to reasonable people.

"Well you see, I respect Gods very much. And as a devout follower of Soma-sama, I should teach the importance of respecting a certain leech who doesn't have it." I giggle as I say

Right now, I look like a proper lunatic cultist surrounded by scared shitless thugs. Meanwhile, Chandra looks unimpressed.

"How about we relax Chandra-san and hear me out? as like-minded people we should convene our misunderstandings instead of crossing swords."

Chandra looks directly at my eyes. I did the same, for a moment he wavered at the staring contest. Then he removed his hand from his weapon.

"Explain then," Chandra ordered.

"You see, Soma-sama personally-"

"Yes, Soma-sama personally recruited you to out familia. We already know this, otherwise, we have long clash our swords. What I ask is why is this a misunderstanding?" Chandra disinterestedly explain

"-Soma-sama and I made a deal. As long as I deal with Zanis and other problems he will support me fully."

A series of gasp echoed throughout the courtyard. Chandra and his companions simply smiled bitterly.

"So you're Soma-sama answer," Chandra said with bitterness as he smiles defeatedly.

He started walking towards me and the laid down Zanis. I allowed him to come. He stared me down for a moment and then looked intently at Zanis.

"Pathetic," Chandra muttered with disdain then walked away. As he walks away he added

"Be sure not to take it too far." As Chandra was about to leave.

The god of our familia arrived and announced himself. In truth, I already know Soma was watching the brawl behind the glass of the balcony.

"What's going on here? Oh, Lupin you sure came early today, what's the matter?"

He pretends to look around and assess the situation. Meanwhile, Zanis became ecstatic, what a poor sod I thought.

"Soma-sama, please help me from this bastard!" Zanis pleaded

Soma sighed, he looked at me for a moment and said.

"That should be enough Lupin," Soma said

I nod my head obediently and let go of Zanis. As soon as let go of Zanis. He smiled and laughed. What a crazy bastard I thought.

"Hehe, it's over for you now dog!" Zanis Snickers then look expectantly at Soma.

I already know where this is going, so I played along and looked guilty. Soma then said the following words and shocked everyone.

"Zanis, you have disgraced me for far too long. Come to my room once you tend to your wounds. Also you useless idiots clean this place up, I don't want any rumours spreading outside" Soma then went inside

"S-Soma-sama!"

I watch Zanis as his world crumbles around him, he was pitiful, to be honest, but that's not my problem now.

"Lupin, come to my room, I need your advice." I heard Soma shouted from the inside.

"As you command Soma-sama."

I smiled, Soma isn't so bad as a boss.
