Chapter Twelve

Jack's POV

I woke up with a horrible headache and horrible pains in my wrists. I didn't know how long I had been there.

I looked around to find out where I was and found nothing but concrete walls around me. I looked up and found my arms chained to the ceiling. Looking down, I noticed I was completely naked with chains around my waist and ankles.

What the heck happened? I thought to myself. All I remember was someone calling Lu's name, pain in my shoulder, then nothing.

A small woman came in and out of my cell feeding me and making sure I got enough water. I don't know how much time went by before voices emerged close to the door, and I quickly closed my eyes.

"We will tell Lu that if he doesn't come, we will all mark his dear human, and we will make him watch as his dear human slowly dies." A mans voice that I remember saying Lu's name before said to someone, "Please unlock the door."

A man, mysteriously beautiful in appearance walked in and closed the door behind him. He was nothing compared to Lu, but he did look amazing.

"Hmm." He said snapping me out of my thoughts, "Getting your fill of me?"

He winked and it made my stomach curl in disgusted. No matter how smoking hot he was, he was not someone I'd ever be with.

"My name is Ale." He said looking around the room for a spot to stand, "You have taken someone special from me."

I looked at him in confusion. What the hell was he talking about?

"How did you meet Lu?" He said, his face curling up in anger, "And why did he mark you?"

I didn't say a word. What could I have said? Well you see he was my dog, and then turned into this magnificent looking man, we made out, and he just went overboard and bit me? I even rejected him out of fear, as I remembered the hurt that was written all over Lu's, well Poa's face. I couldn't help but feel tears prickle in my eyes.

A loud crack sounded around me, and a searing pain burst through my jaw.

"Don't you dare ignore me." Ale said, his fist raised, "Tell me now!"

Before he could hit me again, the door burst open, and Lu stood naked in all his glory. He was a human again.

"But how?" Ale said, checking Lu up and down. My heart beat faster, and I felt my anger grow. Stop looking at him. He is mine.

Lu smiled and walked in grabbing Ale's arm, making him squirm in pain. I noticed Lu's eyes were different. It was as if I was staring at a completely different person. It was scary but comical to see Lu's small self grabbing Ale, who had to be close the same size as me.

He looked at me and something definitely seemed off. It wasn't the same soft smile Lu had when I met him in human form. He had a sinister smile that would make anyone bow down to him.

I heard a loud crack, and Ale screamed out in pain.

"Who are you?" Ale screamed out toward Lu, "And what did you do to Lu?"

"Don't worry." Lu said his voice was different. Deeper and angry, "I am the true owner of this body. I finally can remember everything."

Ale's eyes went wide, as Lu picked him up and threw him against the concrete wall. A loud crunch emitted through the small room, and Ale triedpulling himself up. His leg was obviously broken.

Lu walked closer to me, and I heard the chains holding my arms up break under his strength. I fell to the ground, and Lu bent down.

"Run." Lu whispered in my ear.

His voice was mesmerizing, but I rubbed my arms and ran as fast as I could.

I had no clue where I was going, but I made it to a road and in a strangers car.

"Where to?" The woman asked.

I told her the directions to my town, and we were on the highway.

I should have known not to trust someone who would pick up a naked man.
