Chapter Thirteen

Lu's POV

Everything seemed to go black. I heard myself speak and I felt myself move, but I could not see anything. What was happening?

"Don't worry Lu." A voice in my head said, "This is just your true form."

I sat back and relaxed. If it was my true form, then it should know what to do.

I smelt my master's blood. He did not seem to be in the best condition, which made my insides turn. I also smelt Ale, which made my nervous quake.

I could not see anything; however, I could still smell and hear. It was like I was just floating in my own head.

After a few moments of what sounded like screaming, I heard foot steps of someone running out of the room, my vision finally began to come back, but I wish it hadn't.

Blood covered almost every inch of the walls and laying in a corner all crumbled up was Ale.

"Oh my gosh!" I screamed like a little girl and ran to him. Before I could reach him, my body began to shift back into my wolf form. Dang it!

After the painful process was over, I trotted over to Ale to see if he was still breathing, To my dismay, he wasn't.

Oh no....did I do this?!

I grabbed a hold of the collar of his shirt and started dragging him out of the room. He was slowly becoming stiff and the smell of blood almost had me barfing.

He was suppose to be my mate. How could my true self do this?

"Because he isn't your true mate." A voice out of no where said.

I dropped Ale's body and looked around. Who are you? I thought, thinking they could hear my thoughts.

"Find your mate Lu." The voice said again, echoing around me, "He is in the most danger and he is not what you think he is."

I slowly backed out the front door and sniffed the air for Jack. The air was stuck with Ale's blood, but I slowly smelled vanilla. Jack! I followed the scent down the road, and then it disappeared and a rotting scent took its place. I began to follow the trail, but then I lost it when I was greeted by a highway.

I knew where this highway led. Back to Jack's house.

Don't worry Jack, I'm coming!

I was running in the woods toward Jack, when a pain shot through my neck and then through my heart. My body dropped to the ground just two-hundred feet away from where the car Jack was in. My eyes were beginning to become heavy and the side of my neck was giving off an excruciating pain. I could barley keep my eyes open to stare at the car.

I saw the door open and a woman laughing. She glanced toward me and made eye contact before my eyes completely shut. I heard laughing and then all of a sudden I felt myself being lifted and someone whispering in my ear.

Someone.....help.

Unknown POV

Finally I had him. He sat there just in a daze waiting for us to reach his home.

Jack.

You are the key to the power, and my pack shall be the most powerful pack in this entire nation.

I continued driving down the dirt road toward his house and stopped a little away.

He looked at me in confusion, and I gave him a flirty smile.

He looked surprised and a little sad.

"Sorr..rry" He said stuttering, "I'm gay, but I can give you money."

I knew he was lying, but I smiled and slowly got closer to him. I can't wait until I can shed this image.

"Don't worry I don't want your body." I said as I bit down on the neck that did not have the mark from Lu.

He screamed in pain and tried to push away,

"No!" He yelled. "I'm Lu's"

"Oh? So you know what I'm doing?" I said, looking at him intently, "So you have been playing Lu all along, Mr. Quaker or should I say Scientist Quaker?"

He held his neck and tears slid down his cheeks. I watched as the memories and knowledge flashed through his eyes.

"Lu can't know.." He whispered

"Then you will follow all that I say." I said looking at him with a huge smile, as he nodded.

I got the feeling Lu had made it to where we were and got out of the car.

There laying about two-hundred feet away was Lu himself. He was breathing heavily and his eyes were beginning to shut. I could not help but laugh hysterically.

I'll get exactly what I want.

I began to walk toward him and pick him up.

"You are mine now Lu." I whispered in his ear, "Only mine."
