5. Custody

Venelana could positively say except for the eyes, her son had inherited most of his looks from Tiamat, which made her feel sour inside.

But gazing into Tiamat's cold blue eyes and Vivian's excited expression Venelana didn't know why but she suddenly felt a sense of crisis.

Grayfia gazed at the blue-haired woman who was holding Vivi-sama in her arms and then turned her gaze to her Lady only for her eyebrows to twitch a little.

Venelana was biting onto a handkerchief while looking at Tiamat with a resentful gaze like a wife who got her husband stolen by the mistress. 

Grayfia felt a little embarrassed but she was used to these childish displays by her master from time to time. And as a good maid, she has learned just to ignore it...

Kuroka who was the now notorious S-class criminal was laying low in a remote location in the underworld.

She was recuperating her injuries but also waiting to hear some news about her little sister. She could have escaped with teleportation magic but she wanted to confirm her sister's condition before departing.

Although they say she is a bad kitty, she isn't one at all Nyaa! 

But she should stay away from her sister as she did all of this so she could save her sister from being experimented on. Thinking of this she couldn't help but think of one person causing her mood to be a little bit more gloomy, her ears also drooped.

" I hope I-chan is okay," Kuroka said sadly but she knew deep down that he wouldn't be okay.

While Kuroka lamented her sad thoughts, she suddenly felt a huge pressure accompanied by a roar causing her body to stiffen. 

Kuroka tried to cast a Teleportation spell to get the hell out of here, but her expression paled when she understood that the space was locked.

'Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! Shit! ' 

Kuroka may be a bad kitty but she definitely didn't want to be a dead kitty...

Tiamat gazed at the child in her arms with a frosty expression, but deep inside her cold blue eyes, warmth was overflowing. She gazed warmly at her child who was playing with her hair.

'Cute!' Tiamat screamed in her mind. 

She felt so complete holding him, she felt like none of those treasures or anything in this world no longer held a fraction of the value compared to him.

While Tiamat was gazing at her child in her arms and was deep in her thoughts, she noticed he was flailing around a little and reaching his arms out while saying 'Mama'. Tiamat was overjoyed when she thought he was referring to her.

But her eyes narrowed into slits as she saw him pointing towards that Devil bitch!

'Unacceptable!'

" What do you mean I can't take 'My Son' with me? " Tiamat asked as she narrowed her eyes at the audacity of this bitch.

" He is 'My Son' and why should I let somebody take my child away from me" Venelana was not to be outdone as she glared right back at the woman with her hands on her hips.

" Your lies are not fooling anyone, Devil! He is a dragon certainly not related to a bitch like you! " Tiamat said mockingly while adopting the same stance as Venelana while leaning forward a little to glare at her.

Venelana also glared at her not to be outdone, both of their chests were pressed up against each other as if competing for dominance, both of them didn't step back as they felt they would lose this invisible confrontation if they did. Thus leading to this wonderful scenery.

Grayfia who was holding Vivian in her arms had a helpless expression on her face. While Vivian on the other hand had an excited expression on his face as he waved his hand around. 

'At least Vivi-sama is enjoying himself~' Grayfia thought to herself with a smile...

Grayfia gazed at the arguing women who were on the verge of fighting but still somehow refrained from throwing hands. She was glad that it didn't happen. 

Grayfia took a deep breath and addressed the two women 

" Lady Tiamat, Lady Venelana, Why don't you decide to raise Vivi-sama together " Grayfia calmly addressed the two women causing them to contemplate the matter before staring at each other and snorting.

" Hmph! " x2

Grayfia felt there was hope as she gazed at the two prideful women. 

" As both of you know, the circumstances of Vivi-sama's birth are a little special, and at the same time this may put a lot of targets on his back " Grayfia said slowly while putting the point across as she continued

" Lady Cleria has a territory in the Human world, we can move there and Lady Tiamat and Lady Venalana can both care for Vivi-sama together. As the matter goes, both of you are his mothers and there is no need to choose one over the other " Grayfia laid out a point that these two would have to begrudgingly accept.

Grayfia's plan was simple, she wished to avoid conflicts and if possible having Tiamat as an ally is considered a boon for their current situation.

" Cheh! I'm doing it so my son won't be sad, but he will soon get tired of you because his real mother is here " Tiamat clicked her tongue annoyedly before replying in a smug tone.

" Oh, that's true~ Since his real mother is here, and fake can't win against real anyway~" Venelana replied with equal venom as she glared at Tiamat.

Sparks seemed to form between them as both glared at each other.

Grayfia just had a tired look on her face as she imagined the days to come...
