second trial begins

Chen xiu frowned as he looked at yu wen just as he was about to decline chen yi interrupted him.

"we'll be happy to have you in our team chen yi said with a smile .hearing this yu wen smiled as she approached them since we would be team mate we should know each others element and also plan out a strategy. Yu wen continued "since i already know you guys element I'll just introduce mine ,i have an affinity with ice element saying this yu wen stretched out her palm as a crystal formed from ice took shape in her palm as it rotated slowly after sometime she clenched her fist dispersing the ice crystal. So about the strategy Yu wen was about to continue when she was ruthlessly cut off by chen xiu ." I'll take care of the strategy and let you know when i come up with something"chen xiu said as he sat down cross legged meditating.seeing this chen yi sighed deeply ever since their parents were killed Chen xiu has changed drastically he no longer interacted with others just him. Having nothing to do chen yi also sat cross legged as he meditated.

 after 30 minutes Elder Han reappeared in the sky as he voice resounded in the hall .

" the first stage of the third trial is about to start as he said this several tokens appeared in the air there was two identical numbers in the tokens in a way two groups would be able to obtain the same number, also there were only 10 tokens it rained down in different position the cultivators were confused with the amount of group here 10 tokens wouldn't be able to get to everyone some were relaxed they thought maybe Elder Han would be bring out more.chen yi and yi wen also found it strange but they shrugged it off. However chen xiu was very decisive as he leaped into the air and grabbed a token and landed lightly,many cultivators noticed this strange movement but only scoffed trying to have the highlight they thought chen xiu's action was to make everyone have the impression that he was the First to obtain the token. even chen yi and yu wen looked at him weirdly. But didn't say anything however seeing this Elder Han eyes flashed with a strange light by this time the rest tokens fell on the ground and the groups close to them slowly picked them up unhurriedly,meanwhile those that didn't have any tokens were also relaxed with a carefree smile on their face as they waited for Elder Han to send out more tokens., Elder Han smiled as he said," this who obtained a token has passed the first trial those who didn't obtain a token has been disqualified" Elder Han said. hearing this everyone was shocked they didn't believe what they were hearing, "eliminated "? , Chen yi and Yu wen were also shocked the only person who wasn't shock in the entire Hall was only chen xiu he was still as calm as before chen yi turned and faced chen xiu "how did you know?" he asked yu wen was also curious as she leaned closer. Seeing their expression Chen xiu shook his head clearly disappointed .he faced chen yi as he asked " are you really really my twin? How can you be so dumb? He asked.

Hearing this chen yi's mouth twitched ," hey i only asked a question he retorted ,chen xiu sighed as he replied .

Elder Han only brought out 10 tokens do you think he didn't know how many groups were below it was obvious that him bringing out only 10 tokens was for a reason .forget it

You are too dumb to understand chen xiu shook his head the rest cultivators who didn't have a token dejectedly stepped out of the arena with gloomy expressions .now the ten groups has a total of 5 numbers from 1 to 5 each groups would be called out to spar . Elder Han explained .

now group 1 step forward the rest group should leave the arena chen xiu and his team mates went back to the stadium as the sat down the number 10 could be seen on their token .

The two group with number 1 token stood facing each other. 

"remember killing or crippling your fellow mates is not allowed there are two ways to defeat an opponent either the opponent surrenders or they have lost the ability to fight. Elder Han reminded . 

"You may begin!!" he shouted as he took off to the sky hovering above . With a flick of his hand a transparent barrier covered the fighting arena preventing any aura from leaking and damaging the cultivators on the platform .

The cultivators clashed in mid air as they fought with everything they had spells and weapons could be heard clashing against each other after an hour there finally was a winner then the group two fight also began after hours. It was finally the twins turn . Group ten please come on stage.

The trio walked to the arena they could easily pass through the barrier ,it seems that the barrier only isolated energy not bodies.

The twins and yu wen stood facing another group of two males and a female which was the same as the twins group .

"Begin!!"

Hearing Elder Hans command chen xiu walked to the extreme end of the arena as he sat crossed leg.

"what are you doing?" chen yj asked as he looked at chen xiu clearly confused, chen xiu looked at chen yi as he communicated with him through their soul connection telling him his plan hearing this chen yi relaxed as he looked at yu wen ,our strategy now is to attack and win this match without chen xiu. Chen yi muttered causing yu wen to be stunned it seems she would never understand this twins . She just sighed as she resigned her fate she was the one who choosed to join their group anyway.

looking at their opponent their were two of them were at the middle stage of the master realm while the other male who appeared to be the leader of the group was at level 9 of the master realm almost close to the peak of the master realm he was quite talented this made yu wen worried as he was clearly stronger than them all she was only at the middle stage of the master realm . When the crowd noticed chen xiu's behaviour they.snorted who is he always overestimating himself, curses rained down on him .

The three cultivators dashed forward at once they planned to quickly defeat chen yi and yu wen before they would take care of chen xiu in the distance . Face the female cultivator i will handle the other two chen yi said with a rare serious face. Yu wen nodded as ice took the shape of icicles as she fired it towards the female cultivator chen xiu struck with his sword at the other two male cultivators the cultivator with the same cultivation as chen yi snorted as he dashed forward to receive the sword slash

"Clang!" 

After the clash the cultivator flew back it was clear who was stronger after the clash , chen yi immediately rushed forward to deliver a deadly strike but he gave up mid way as he quickly took a defensive stance placing the sword vertically on his front .

"Bang!" 

Chen yi retreated to step back while the other cultivator who was close to the peak of the Master realm retreated a step he was slightly stronger than chen yi which made him astonished one should know there was a huge difference between a middle stage cultivator and a peak master stage cultivator .

The middle stage youth who was sent flying by Chen yi has already rushed back he and the other male cultivator surrounded Chen yi. "wind slash!" the peak master realm cultivator yelled as wind was compressed on his sword as he slashed out two wind like sword flew towards chen yi, 

"Stone bullet!" 

The other cultivator yelled as he fired ten small rocks in the form of bullets at chen yi and they were incredibly fast .

Chen yi knew among this two attacks he was only capable of blocking one,if he blocked the wind slash the stone bullet would penetrate his body and if he wanted to block the stone bullet he won't be able to block all of it some would still penetrate his body and the wind slash would also attack his body as his mind was racing he finally decided to block the wind slash when chen xiu's voice echoed in his mind making his eyes to brighten the two attack were now close. 

"he is done for even if he blocks one of the attack he would still suffer some injuries the crowd who were spectating shook their head in disdain as they looked at chen xiu if only he wasn't a coward he would have helped his team mate , only the sect leaders eyes contained some profound gaze as he stared at chen xiu. his eyes tried to penetrate through chen xiu he was trying to see through him but at that moment a boundless aura that only he was able to feel flew out from chen xiu's body as it blocked the sect leaders infiltrating eyes not only that the force shattered his spiritual sense causing him to spit out blood. 

Seeing this the Elders and his two children were shocked . Sect leader!! Father!! They called out shocked ,the sect leader waved his hand dismissing them he wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth as he smiled ,"interesting"

Mean while at the stage chen xiu used his sword technique .

"Solar Flare!!"

Using the force of the sword he struck downward .

"Boom!!"

A terrifying force exploded everything around chen yi was destroyed both the wind slash and the stone bullet was destroyed by this force making his lip two curve upward into a smile.
