End of the first Trial

"Boom!!"

Both cultivators were sent flying letting chen yi to be able to catch his breath. if not for chen xiu telling him what to do at the last moment he would have been severely injured he looked at yu wen only to see she was still in a serious fight with the female cultivator seeing that she was doing fine by herself he heaved a sigh of relief.

"What!!" 

The spectators were shocked they didn't understand how chen yi was able to come up with such a brilliant method .

Seizing this advantage chen yi walked forward as he approached the two cultivators the middle stage cultivator was seriously injured as for the late stage master realm cultivator he only had slight bruises and did not affect his combat strength.

"Solar Flare" 

Chen yi yelled as he faced the seriously injured cultivator a terrifying beam of light seem to have pierced through space as it appeared in front of the cultivator in a flash,

Seeing this beam of light the cultivator felt the fear of death.

"Earth Wall!!" he yelled as a thick wall made from rocks appeared in front of the sword beam. 

"Boom!" 

The earth shattered although it had reduced the power contained in the sword beam significantly but the remaining power was still terrifying as it arrived at his chest . The cultivators expression was ugly as he raised his sword to block .

"Bang"

The sword broke in two as the remaining force smashed into his chest

"Puchi"

A whole appeared on his chest as he was sent flying smashing into the audience seats .

The medics quickly came over as they began treating his wounds quickly .

When the late stage cultivator saw this he was filled with fear but he quickly calmed down as he clenched his sword tightly . 

"Wind Slash" he yelled as he slashed down chen yi dodged them in a hurry .

"Solar flare" 

Chen yi yelled as he a beam of light flashed as it headed towards the cultivator, although the sword beam was fast the cultivator was already prepared .

"Storm Slash!!"

Hundreds of wind blades suddenly appeared around the cultivator. slash the hundreds of wind blades collided with the solar flare . 

"Boom!!"

A shocking explosion occurred the sword beam destroyed the wind blades in a frenzie but after colliding with close to 50 wind blades the sword beam dissipated and the rest of the wind blades flew towards chen yi seeing this chen xiu panicked he decided to use the same move as before activating the solar flare he struck the ground . 

"Boom!!"

Countless wind blades were destroyed but the storm slash was really tyrannical as five wind blade pierced through the explosion caused by chen yi's solar flare they struck chen yi in five different places ,chen yi's face turned pale he hurriedly blocked the wind blade aiming for his heart .

"Puchi" 

Blood flew out as the remaining wind blade pierced him on his arm and stomach .chen yi hurriedly retreated back seeing him severely injured the cultivator curled his lip into a smile . 

"Bang"

A scream came from a part of the arena , turning their heads in that direction only to see Yu wen covered in blood as she panted heavily beneath her was the female cultivator that has already passed out . The late stage cultivator seeing he was the only one left decided to end the match quickly he never knew chen yi would be so difficult to deal with , Just as was about to make a move a dagger that reflected a shocking light showing how sharp it is was placed on his neck a tap on his shoulder .

He was shocked he didn't understand how Someone came to his back without him noticing, he immediately revealed a surprised look as it occur to him it was the dark element welder who he has forgotten about not only him even the crowd has forgotten about his existence and they wondered how he appeared there without them noticing only those with a huge gap in cultivation were able to see Chen xiu when he started moving in shadows.

seeing this chen xiu breathed a sigh of relief he was already spent if chen xiu didn't appear at this critical moment he would have been defeated .

"Holy Light " 

Chen yi muttered as a light element surrounded him all his injuries were completely healed although he couldn't recover his spiritual energy it was already great seeing this many of the elders including the sect master nodded in acknowledgement this is among why a light element user is feared. 

"He has a lot of potential" the first elder said as he continued reading his book .

Elder Han flew down . The first trial has ended and the winner decided. Those who advanced to the second trial you would be given 2 hours to prepare yourself before we commence . Hearing this chen xiu finally dropped his hand as be emerged from the dark he had activated the dark cloak which made him seem to have disappeared .

Chen yi looked for Yu wen worriedly , he finally relaxed when he spotted her sitting crossed leg and a healer was attending to her injuries . 

This healers were water element welders and learned some water spell that could treat injuries although it wasn't compared to the light element it was better than nothing and with chen yi's current understanding of the light element he could only treat his injuries and couldn't treat others .

The twins walked towards her Yu wen who was in pain raised her head as she noticed sound of footsteps heading towards her direction seeing who it was she forced herself to smile enduring the pain .

"Am sorry i wasn't able to help you" chen yi said softly ,

Hearing this yu wen's heart was filled with warmth ,she glanced at chen xiu towards this youth she didn't even know how to feel . 

"judging by your injuries you wouldn't be able to participate in the next fight so leave it to us , also you have to grow stronger so you would no longer be a burden to us" Chen xiu said as he walked away.

recover soon okay chen yi said as followed Chen xiu.

Yi wen smiled bitterly although he knew that chen yi was stronger than her she didn't believe chen xiu was stronger than her just like the crowd she also thought the reason chen xiu didn't participate in the fight was because he was scared and about how he caught the late stage cultivator off guard was because of his sneak attack nothing more. 

The twins went to a quite place and sat down chen yi started recovering his spiritual energy as for chen xiu he was just meditating suddenly chen xiu felt a hint of hostility turning toward the source he noticed it was the late stage master realm cultivator who he defeated he turned his head away as he closed his eyes he couldn't care less about that cultivator unlike chen yi he was confident in taking him down in only two moves.

If anyone heard this they would vomit blood out of anger.

Time flew rapidly as 2 hours passed in a flash Elder Han appeared in the air.

" the five groups please come on stage!!"

Chen yi opened his eyes he was back to his peak the twins walked down to the arena after everyone was present Elder Han continued,"five tokens would be sent randomly to each group among the five , four has identical numbers and only one has a different number . The group who obtains the only different number would automatically advance to the last trial". Elder Han said as he waved his hand then using spiritual energy he mixed the tokens before randomly scattering it to the five groups each token gently floated to a group . 

Chen xiu caught the token as the number 2 was displayed . He sighed their luck was bad , after they heard a happy scream turning to the direction the twins noticed that the had the number 0 on their token and surprisingly chen xiu recognized one of the cultivators in that group it was the female that has a veil covering her face.

"Group one remain on the arena the rest go back to the spectating seat". Elder Han said the twins and the other groups left the fighting arena. 

"Begin" 

Elder Han said as he flew up inspecting the fight from a high attitude , 

"watch how they fight , learn their strongest attacks and their weakness"Chen xiu said making chen yi to nod in agreement they both watched the match it was a long and boring fight , but the twins managed to capture all their weakness and strong points. Now among all the participators the twins group were the weakest the weakest in the rest groups was at the 8 stage of the master realm after a long and boring fight the winner finally emerged, even the crowd couldn't help but admit that chen xiu's group fights were the most interesting, they couldn't help but look forward to their match . 

"A Victor has been decided" Elder Han said Now group 2 step on stage he added ,the twins walked towards the arena as they faced three burly youth they all had great build which shows they specializes in body cultivation this type of practice wasn't rare there are cultivators that only specializes in cultivating their body. Elder Han frowned as he glanced at the twins group , "were is your team mate he asked. 

Chen yi stepped forward as he replied , reporting to Elder Han she is badly injured and can't take part in this round . 

Hearing this Elder Han frown deepened but there was nothing he could do about it.their opponent now has an advantage ,the crowd were also shocked with the absence of one of the team mates they only had the ligjt element welder to shoulder the team . "Hey but there is still the dark element welder a young female retorted with a red face . Hearing this another cultivator sneered ,"do you mean the scaredy cat" he only know how to hide. 

Chen yi you will fight them alone.chen xiu said making chen yi to be shocked ."are you kidding me there are three late stages how do you expect me to fight them?, chen xiu didn't respond as he retreated to the back sitting crosslegged.. This time the crowd erupted with anger .

"Can't you even be a man" hiding under your brother curses. rained down but chen xiu was not in the least bothered.

Even Elder Han frowned but didnt say anything .
