Chapter 9 Time may be fleeting but our memories last forever 

TEN YEARS LATER

Early morning sun rays make their past through the glass window in Sabestin's room and he sleeping slumbering on his bed looks so beautiful. peace written all over his face like he was free from all worries Unfortunately alarm rang and his precious bedtime was over.

Sabestin " oh Damn' why do they always sunrise so fast I don't even like that I sleep that long" Irritatingly he raises his delicate long hand turns off the alarm and again makes himself comfortable on the bed within five minutes again alarm rang.

 he wakes annoyingly turns off the second alarm, and takes a short nap. third alarm rang after five minutes he was frustrated quickly turned off all five alarm clocks and dragged himself out of bed.

sitting on the bed ' It's still early for me to wake up but I don't want to be late for my interview ' 

yeah of course 'now I'm twenty-four years old after graduating I worked for a small company and later gained some experience I want to try my luck at a multinational company.

Unexpected ten years passed by when that incident happened I can still remember those ice blue eyes of that giant beast sometimes.

I had nightmares every single thunderstorm night.

That was the darkest day of my life suddenly I lost Alex one of my life sources my childhood buddy one of my dearest friends on top of that, my only first love. His absence makes a larger hole in my heart like something is void.

I live my day-to-day life perfectly but that shinny cheerful morning when Alex came to wake me up that time I don't even need to set alarms.

 he there to wake me up every morning that cosy feel somewhere fade away and A carefree me has to be mature in his non-appearance.

 A long time passed by but Still, it felt like Alex had been with me the day before yesterday his stunning smile, and his beautiful long brown hair when he ran his long fingers through the hair was the most eye-google moment.

I never forget him nor that time when I was left alone sometimes it feels like he just abandoned me.

 he didn't take our friendship seriously so he didn't even care to inform me about their shift. 

I remember That day when I saw that beast because of exhausted or maybe anxious and that leftover feeling made me faint on the ground after a few minutes hours I was under the shelter near his house.

 I don't who took me there but, when I opened my eyes it didn't rain but still, that gloomy atmosphere did not fade away my heart was gloomy.

I woke up and made my way home directly into the bathroom took a shower and went to bed without eating anything. The next morning I desperately waited for Alex to come and wake me up but there was no sight of him 

mom "called me Sabestin you're going to be " hurry up" 

Drag myself out the bed take a shower dress up and look at myself in the mirror I look half dead like a zombie went down stairs have breakfast quick went to school hoping for soon to meet Alex.

Half an hour later I waited at the school gate Alex hadn't across here so I thought he was in the class I went to his class but his friend told me he was not there at school the bell rang quickly I went to my class but my thoughts my mind all occupied filled with only one name Alex.

After school I couldn't wait to reach his house standing in front of his house made my heart pump like a water pump hundreds of balloons blust in my stomach shaking hands.

I knocked on his door but no..... Reply then I rang Bell simultaneously but still no ... One reply.

 Then A middle-aged man passed by He said to me 

Middle age men "What happened why are you ringing the Bell like that? there is one in-house."

Sabestin " Do you know where are they? "

MAM "Kiddo I don't but they left around evening " 

Sabestin "Did you know when they back maybe they told you something "

MAM " I don't know I just saw them when they left. "

Sabestin disappointed said "Thank you for your help "

MAM "No worries, welcome have a nice day" 

And that man was gone.

It's been days since Alex left days passed by months; months passed by year; years passed by ten years; now ten years till Alex left and I go on with my life..............
