She let out this small brightness at this moment because they had to get a grasp of just how terrifying the Little Beast would be- especially if it was fused with someone else who wasn't her.
When she had fused with the Little Beast before, its physiology was much more complex than the current her as she couldn't utilize it with great efficiency.
After all, at this point, she had only achieved the Teracosm Stage and wasn't even at its peak.
Her Dominium Soul was the strongest, with her Body being much weaker as its complexity was much less.
