Infinite in the Marvel-verse

(Cover is not mine, and the character used in this story aren't mine and are owned by their perspective companies only this story that I am currently writing is mine, and also I would recommend you see the spider-verse movies before reading this, and also sorry if I butcher characters please tell me in the comments and I will go back and edit them to make sure I portray them the right way) You've probably heard this song and dance already, I was once your ordinary run-of-the-mill Joe before getting run over by a truck, who knew the isekai genre, in general, got it right. Anyway, your probably expecting I was reincarnated with some wishes and a new body right or maybe as a popular or unpopular superhero/supervillain and I'm happy to say you got it right on one of them. I didn't get wishes or something like that instead I was reincarnated as Infinite the jackal or human in this case so props to whoever decided to keep me in the same species at least. Of course, they had a good reason for doing this, instead of the Sonic universe or franchise I was thrust into marvel earth-1610 or more specifically the Spider-Verse movie version a bit before the first movie. Now that you're all caught up let us see how weird and crazy my life can get in a place that's constantly dealing with the multiverse. (p.s. no romance)

It took a bit for Captain Marvel to actually make her way toward Earth and Darcy never stopped asking questions. Naturally, I ignored her not giving an inch, because the moment I answered even one of them she would continue on, although she was already doing that. Jane is one of the few smart people present who didn't ask me any questions seeing how I was annoyed with Darcy. Eventually, some of the computers nearby started beeping and Maria let out a sigh of relief and turned on a small project showing Earth's orbit.

We all saw a bright yellowish-orange light enter the atmosphere going straight for Thor's current location. Then the screen flashed off and I saw Maria smile and start talking with the others. Frustrated I called out to her with a clearly angry tone to my voice.

"Is there a specific reason you called me out here, or did you just want to annoy me?"

Stopping her conversation with Jane and Darcy she looked over to me, still having a serious expression on her face.

"I was hoping you could assist Captain Marvel in taking down Thor."

I sighed creating another copy using the standard issue crimson cube, a bit more crude than my earlier copies and a lot less nice looking.

"I'll leave to watch the fight and nothing else, so please once again only use this in case you run out of options besides Nukes, don't want to destroy the planet just yet."

Then I teleported away, this time to Las Vegas once more as that was one of the few locations I had memorized at the moment. I sought to rectify that by conjuring thousands of eyes to go memorized all the locations on Earth as it would most likely resemble the other locations on other Earths as well, of course, I could also try to memorize the landscape in order rot have a general understanding of the area.

While usually, my eyeballs were slow, by using my own original energy I was able to speed them up and send them all over the world. Then I saw Thor flying across the ocean and toward Stonehedge and while I may not care about humanity as much anymore it was still an important piece of history. Once I had the location memorized I teleported there immediately with the eyeball acting as my own little marker.

Thor didn't see me at first, which gave me plenty of time to stretch out a bit as I waited for one of the two to fire off an energy blast and see if I could absorb it. Then I saw Captain Marvel arrive and was about to try and stop Party Thor from tipping over Stonehenge but saw me first.

"Hey, you two don't you dare think about destroying whatever this place is."

Thor was obviously confused and looked in the direction she was looking at, aka me.

"Hey, are you with this party pooper as the Midgardians call it?"

I sighed conjuring a few copies of myself and two giant hands to try in case they did something stupid or try to fight me.

"you can think of me as an observer in this little fight of yours so ignore me and go back to what you were doing."

Hearing that Captain Marvel still glared at me and Thor being the idiot he was in this universe took the chance to poke at Stonehenge trying to tip it over. I sighed again getting annoyed at the beings of this universe and sent one of my hands over to grab him. He yelped in surprise as I yanked him out of Stonehedge taking special care not to knock any of them over and tossed him to the side.

"Just because I'm not on humanity's side doesn't mean I'll let you destroy a historical sight like Stonehenge."

Hearing Captain Marvel look at Thor with an angry look on her face, and Thor himself had a coky grin still as he got out of my hand's grip. Once he was out of my grip Captain Marvel charged in punching Thor across the ocean once more. Ignoring me she chased after him, leaving me behind with the energy she had left behind. It was almost like the teleportation energy but far stronger as it was caused by the cosmic force of the tesseract or space stone.

Even though there wasn't much to draw on, I began to absorb it adding to the teleportation energy I had fully absorbed earlier improving its abilities. Even if it wasn't much, the amount added had already approved my teleportation abilities and could perhaps unlock new abilities down the line. In one of my many eyes, I saw Thor and Marvel duking it out in the desert.

While I wasn't interested in the fight itself, I was waiting for Thor to fire off a lighting blast to see if I could absorb his divine energy. After all, while normal people just thought of him as an alien, he was in fact a god although it was a minor g. So if I absorbed that type of energy who knows what would happen, would my body start to gain its own version of divinity or would it reject it and destroy my body?

It would be an interesting experience, after all, while the space stone was in fact far more powerful under the right conditions I wasn't absorbing it. No, instead I was absorbing energy that has been filtered through the human body. For right now though it was more a fist-weapon fight rather than two people firing energy blasts at each other.

Then I started laughing as I saw through one of my eyes that Thor had slammed Captain Marvel to the ground and placed his hammer on top of her. I couldn't stop myself it was just so weird and odd to see as the aliens around started laughing at her then I stopped realizing something.

"She's going to call again isn't she."

Afterward, I both mentally and physically slapped myself for being too nice and stupid.
