Extra Chapter: Quack Teresa Judgement

Teresa was one of the few missionaries in India that wasn't deported till now, because she had the direct support from the Catholic Church from the Vatican.

She was, however, warned against trying to convert anyone, and that included preaching her religion.

Whether she followed through the warning or ignored it wasn't exactly known till now.

In one of the slums of Siliguri, which was called the 'Chicken' s neck' in the original timeline, she had settled for a while and opened a missionary school.

First of all, she resisted the uniform Indian + Bengal state books. Because it had a book of Politics, which revealed the demons of Christianity, along with all other religions. And there was almost nothing positive written about Christianity.

'During the colonial rule, both British and others, the education system of India was systematically destroyed. The Gurukuls, which provided education to everyone, were systematically destroyed and were being replaced by insufficient numbers of missionary schools. The most affected regions of the country, Goa and Nagaland, faced almost complete indegenous cultural wipeout.

Very few Goans know how to write in their native language now, and their culture was completely destroyed by churches. Those who resisted conversion were genocided in cold blood.

And many Nagas consider themselves as too different from Indians and has been involved in insurgencies. When asked about where they got the name 'Naga'. The converted ones weren't able to tell that according to their native scriptures, they are the descendants of sage Kashyap and Kadru. The search for Naga idols are currently ongoing to recover and restore them, which was destroyed by the churches.'

In the section of positive impacts of Christianity, only a nuanced statement was present that they established schools and universities, but they became prominent only because Christian rulers destroyed the gurukuls.

Even Islam had more positive impact on India according to the book. It stated that when Hindus developed a notion of not leaving the land of their holy river, even the Hindu kings, especially in Kerala, supported conversions of people into an Indianized less radical form of Islam to continue trade with the outside world. Moreover, the cooperation between Hindus and Muslims in Surat was lauded as peaced cooperation between various communities of the society, that everyone needs to learn from. Having many communities is a weakness in fighting, and a strength in co-operation.'

Despite her protests, along with some madarsas and churches, they weren't heard and were replaced from their positions, including Teresa.

If that wasn't enough, all of the leading protesters were being investigated in secret, and when they found out about Teresa trying to spread Christianity by gathering sick people, with illnesses like TB in closed spaces with other patients, and administering medicine using the same syringe, she was arrested.

She was charged with murder of 58+ people, crime of spreading contiguous diseases, medical fraud because she didn't have a nurse degree from a recognised college, conversion cases, brainwashing of minors, and plenty of more cases.

The news spread like wildfire about her syndicate across India and Christian countries. Despite pressure from them, she was found guilty by Kolkata High Court, and was arrested for 189 years.

And the court also issued an order to Union Government to make a law quickly against quacks, as they pose danger of starting an epidemic.

The judgement was titled Quack Teresa Judgement, and will become a turning point in India's medical and education sector, further implying the need to separate religion from any basic sector like education, medicine, etc.
