Arriving at the top of the pillar where guru lives Carl parked the car. Getting out of the car Carl could see Nail waiting for him at the entrance to the building giving his car a curious look not having seen anything like it before. Walking up to Nail Carl remarks, "sorry you had to wait on me. As you can see I don't know how to fly."

Nail shook his head, "it's alright. It was rude of me to assume you knew and should have asked." He then gave Carl a serious look. "Now, you are about to meet our people's elder. Do not disrespect him and speak respectfully." He stated to Carl.

Carl gulped with the seriousness Nail was coming at him with and could feel a slight pressure, probably from his KI. Carl composed himself, "I won't be disrespectful I promise. I really haven't come here to make enemies." Carl told Nail with as serious of a look he could muster. Nail scrutinizing Carl for a second nodded then led him inside.

Walking inside to an empty room with a circular platform that look to be hovering in the middle of it. Nail steps on the platform and motions for Carl to do the same. Once Carl is on Nail says something in Namekian and the platform starts to rise up.

Once Carl and Nail were on the next floor Carl couldn't help but widen his eyes in mild shock and thought to himself, 'Damn, I knew he was big from the show but seeing it in person is a different story.' In front of Carl and Nail was Guru a giant of a namekian. Carl couldn't tell how big he was from a glance but would guess he was as big as a semi truck.

Nail walked up in front of Guru followed by Carl. Nail knelt down and Carl did the same seeing nail kneel. "Grand elder. I have brought the outsider as requested."

Guru looked over at nail and thanked him, "thank you my child. You may both stand." With Gurus words Nail and Carl both stood up. Guru then looks over to Carl, "now my young friend. Why not introduce yourself and tell us your story." He asked Carl politely.

Carl not seeing a need to hide anything walks up in front of Guru, "yes elder Guru, my name is Carl Dearman." He replies and goes on to tell him about his reality hopping

, how when he goes to a reality it's random where he will end up and that's how he ended up on namek, and he also told him the reason he's reality hopping is that he will need significant strength to help defend his reality when the time comes. Carl contemplates on revealing his future knowledge and decided to reveal a little. If he remembers correctly Guru can read minds and if he wants them to trust him he will have to be as truthful as possible and let Guru read it if asked, "I've also seen into this universe before and know some future events. Like how your people will be in great danger from a tyrannical dictator called frieza who will invade your planet." After carls words Nail was visibly startled and had an ugly expression.

Guru listened to carls words patiently. He was a little surprised by Carl saying he was from another reality but he has read the nakemian book of legends and the book does say other universes exist. What shocked the great elder was carls claims to know future events. What more his people will be threatened by frieza. Guru has heard of this person through stories and whispers. Apparently he's a ruthless individual who conquers and sells planets.

After a little more contemplation Guru motioned for Carl to come closer, "come closer young one and I will see if you speak the truth." Carl, already having an idea on were this was going, steps up to Guru and once he was right next to him Guru took his massive hand and placed it on top of carls head causing him to startle a little. "Fear not. I am going to read your mind and see if what you say is true. I do hope you understand that this is for the safety of my people and I can assure you that no harm will come to you." Guru says as gently as possible and informs Carl on what he was doing. Carl just nodded his head in agreement and lets Guru do his thing. He knows the namekian are a peaceful race and won't do anything unless provoked.

Once Carl gave his confirmation Guru started. He first tried to gain access to carls mind but was at first blocked by something foreign residing in carls body that happened to be the mediclorians inside him. But that soon went away as Carl willed them to let Guru in giving access to the information Guru was looking for. Guru wanted to see anything related to the information on the attack on his people that Carl mentioned. This led him to watching the entirety of the dragon ball story line from dragon ball all the way to dragon ball super.

Guru was shocked at the knowledge the young man had about the gods and other universes. He did see the attack on his people and even tho they are able to survive the ordeal not all of them make it and even their planet is destroyed. Guru thinks on the preparations he would have to make. According to the young mans memories These events are years to come but not far off. Guru looks over at Nail, 'the young one's memories reveal young Nail will be our finest warrior. Perhaps cultivating more into young nails training will be beneficial.' Guru thinks to himself, remembering seeing something about the one named piccolo utilizing the dragon to gain a higher power, 'orange piccolo' guru remembers the name Carl called it.

Guru was brought out of his musings by Carl, "ummm Guru sir?" Guru looked over at Carl. "Did you see what you needed to? I'm not trying to rush you or anything but your hand is kinda heavy." And indeed Guru still had his hand on carls head.

Before nail could say anything about Carl being disrespectful Guru apologized, "ah I'm sorry young one. Yes I did see what I needed. And more in fact." He muses for a second again then addresses Carl, "I thank you young one for what you have done for my people. With what I have learned from your mind I feel great relief having a direction to help my people."

Carl was a little confused he didn't know Guru read through the entire dragon ball story in his mind. He thought he would only get the info on frieza and namek. "What direction?"

Guru answered, "the one you know as piccolo. His development as a namekian is astounding and will have my warriors follow suit." He chuckles then continues, "without his violent tendencies of cores." With his hand on carls head still he continues. "With that done we should also help you with your quest. I have seen through your visions how your reality will turn out." He then seemed to concentrate and a white aura enveloped his hand then covers Carl, sending adrenaline all through his body. Carl had a guess as to what was happening as he felt energy coursing through him. He felt himself get slightly stronger and his connection to the force skyrocketed. Once done guru took his hand off carls head. "I have unlocked your hidden potential. You now have access to all your capabilities."

Carl always wondered something so he asked, "so after unlocking my hidden potential geting stronger will be harder won't it?"

Guru patiently explained, "unlocking of one's hidden potential is simply getting rid of negative KI in the body that is limiting one's power. You can always still get stronger and over a long period of time negative KI can accumulate again but it won't make you weaker, just limiting yourself."

(Wanted to give my two cents on how hidden potential works)

Carl nodded to guru's explanation. Guru then addressed Carl again, "with the amount of knowledge you have gifted simply unlocking your potential seems trifle." He looks over at Nail. "Young Nail, pleas go and gather the dragon balls. Our young friend here deserves proper thanks for what he has given."

Nail at first hesitated looking at both Guru and Carl but then bows, "as you wish lord Guru." He then leaves both guru and Carl in the chamber. During this time Carl is shocked but also extremely happy. if he can get a wish on the dragon balls that would put him on easy street. And there not just any dragon balls, there the namkeian ones that give you three wishes.

Guru looks over to Carl, "it won't take Nail long so I suggest you think of what you will wish for. From your memories you should know what the dragon balls do and how many wishes you get." Carl nodded to guru bowed to him and thanked him. He then rushed out to his car looking for something. He remembers something in his past life from a fanfic and decided to try it. Worst thing that can happen is that it won't work.
