Chapter 13

"I didn't get her name. She had brown hair and gray eyes." She shrugged.

He stops her from doing what she is doing. "What did she say?" He demands

"She said she wanted to talk to you about getting some work, I told her you were not hiring new recruits." She says

He pushes her off of him, zipping his pants back up, he stands looking down at the ground through the window. Emma, he says when he sees her downstairs. He has been waiting for her to walk back into his office since that day. She haunts his dreams at night with her gray eyes, and beautiful smile he can't forget. Not to mention she is the only woman to reject him. He even imagines her when he is with other women just to cum. The receptionist comes up behind him and wraps her arms around him. He looks at her coldly.

" Go downstairs to HR and tell them to reassign you to the janitorial department." He sneers

"But sir, you can't do this to me. Everyone knows when you send women to the janitor department they have slept with you." She cries

"You know I do not care about your tears. You should have thought about that before you sent her away. Who knows if she will come back now." He said with anger in his eyes.

"I don't want to go to that department." She says crossing her arms and stomping her foot.

"Then you are fired, I will tell accounting you are on your way to get your last check and turn in your badge." He says coldly.

Her eyes widen, she looks at him and runs towards the elevator. Mr. Jonas is sitting in his office wondering if he should call her or not, He calls accounting telling them his orders. After she hangs up, He swallows hard and dials her number.

Emma walks out of the building with her head down. Not watching where she was going she ran into someone. Looking up to apologize she realizes it is Lia.

"Lia?" Wide eyes

"Hey Emma!" smiling "It has been a while." says Lia

"Yeah, it has been over a year." She says with a playful pat on her arm. She then pulls her in for a hug. "How have you been?"

Lia laughs and hugs her back. "I have been good, and how are you doing?"

"I have been well, I got engaged." She says, showing her ring.

"Wow that is amazing, I was about to eat lunch. Do you want to join me?" She asks

"Sure, I have nothing else to do." Smiling

They walk across the street to the burger restaurant. This is one of Lia's favorite places when she lived with them at the actress dorm. After they order food, they find a booth to sit far away from other people so they will not be disturb.

"I saw you coming out of the Brassica building." She finally says after a few minutes.

" Yeah I was seeing if I could get some work. Mr. Jonas was not in his office." She shrugs.

"Was there a young girl there at the desk?" Lia asks

"Yes she said, I need an appointment." Sighing
