Chapter 4 Hogwarts letter
The morning of my eleventh birthday I was up bright and early to prepare myself. When I heard a knock on the door. "come in" I said
"Josh you have a visitor from some private academy that wants to speak to you," said Rose praying that the professor would take this boy away.
"Rose, could I talk to him alone please," said the older lady he knew to be Minerva McGonagall. She was a tall, stern-looking witch with black hair drawn into a tight bun.
"Hello, Mr. Willams my name is professor McGonagall and I'm here to invite you to a special school," she said in a monotone voice.
"Hello Minerva, here to bring me my Hogwarts letter I assume," I said with a huge smile on my face. "That's professor McGonagall, Mr. Willams, but how would you know that?" she said with a stern but confused face.
"Yes, Minerva, whatever you say, Minerva. How wouldn't I know the most famous kitty cat in all of Hogwarts," I said like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Ok Mr. Willams since you already know why I'm here, then here is your letter then we can head to Diagon Alley to get your supplies," she says quickly as to hide her shock. She hands over the Hogwarts letter and he excitedly opens it.

Dear Mr. Willams,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all the necessary books and equipment.
The term begins on September 1. We await your owl by no later than July 31.

UNIFORM
First-year students will require:
1. Three sets of plain work robes (black)
2. One plain pointed hat (black) for daywear
3. One pair of protective gloves (dragon hide or similar)
4. One winter cloak (black, with silver fastenings)
Please note that all pupil's clothes should carry name tags.

1 cauldron (pewter, standard size 2)
1 set of glass or crystal vials
1 telescope
1 set of brass scales
Students may also bring an owl OR a cat OR a toad.
PARENTS ARE REMINDED THAT FIRST YEARS ARE NOT ALLOWlED THEIR OWN BROOMSTICKS
It feels like a dream come true holding the letter in my hands after the number of times I've read it in the book and other fanfictions. "well then I assume you're going to use apparition and take us to the Leaky Cauldron. I'm sure Rose would do anything to get me out of here." I said with a knowing look.
With a confused look, 'how does he know any of this if he was raised by muggles' she thought. Wanting to move on quickly she just agreed and walked out of the room, going to explain the situation to Rose.
Coming back to the room "Come on let's be on our way you're not the only student I have to take today. Grab my arm" she said. When she was sure I had a good grip and then a loud pop. I was finally going to see the Magical World for the first time.
