In the Harry Potter world with a system

This a story I'm trying to make after reading way too much harry potter fanfic... A story of the life of a sad boy beginning his life in the harry potter world with a system and knowledge of the future. What will he do, what changes will he make, what side will he be on?

Chapter 3 A Fresh Start

Waking up and seeing a ceiling I've never seen before I know this is the beginning of an isekai trope, wondering where the fuck my third wish is. I look around the small dark room seeing a poorly maintained room.

Dark wood floors appear cracked and broken in places, and walls with cracking paint. The room has only a small twin bed, a window, a small nightstand with a note, and a small handheld mirror on it. Getting out of bed and for the first time noticed how truly puny I am.

Thin arms that clearly show I'm underfed I reach for the mirror. Seeing the face of a young boy I've never seen before. "well at least god made me somewhat attractive in this life" having brown hair just above my shoulders, grey eyes, and what looks like a permanent uncaring complexion.

"It can't be worse than my ugly pimple-covered face from before so anything better than that," I said, after taking in my new complexion.

I reach for the note on the nightstand it reads "Dear, Josh Willams I put you in the body of a ten-year-old boy your birthday is in a few days. Enjoy your new grand adventure in a new world I hope you find true happiness and don't get killed by some random mob character. ~PS sorry about the third wish I got bored talking to you and wanted to speed this up." looking at the note with anger and frustration. "stupid fucking God, can't do a damn thing right, can you!!" I yell suddenly then I hear the door slam open.

I see an older lady clearly in her late forties and she seems very angry "it's three in the morning can you stop with random screaming and go to bed before you wake up the other children!" slamming the door as she left. Thinking to myself well slamming the door is going to wake them up too you cunt. First things first I should check on the only real wish I got, the system. "status" I say aloud and what pops up blew my mind.

A blue screen appears in front of me. Suddenly the word 'loading' shows up on the screen alongside the old windows 95' loading bar. Under it is a hints button that says 'if you don't breathe you'll die' I click it again in the hopes something useful will show up it says 'plants need sunlight' sighing and giving it one last try "your systems need a large amount of magic to start to wait till you get to Hogwarts" I sigh "this is really to be expected at thing point ill be surprised if I ever acquire it." deciding my best course of action is to sleep and figure out all the important stuff tomorrow morning. Laying down, I quickly fall asleep.

*Time skip till the eleventh birthday*

It's been a rough few weeks I soon found out I live in an orphanage. I'm glad that at least I don't have parents, that would find I'm not the son they knew. I live at the orphanage with ten other kids and the angry lady I met before finding out her name is rose, and oh was she not happy when I told her I didn't know her name.

"not surprising a freak like you can't remember something that simple," she said. I found out soon after that before I reincarnated he used to have bouts of accidental magic, very often, making him thought to be a freak and ostracized by everyone. 'well at least ill be left alone it would be hard talking to all these young kids all the time anyways' I thought.

Well, all that aside they feed me and give me a place to stay even if the food is terrible and my room is really small, at least it is my own. Finally, the day I've been waiting for has arrived my eleventh birthday. If it happens the way it did in the books, today, someone from Hogwarts should arrive today to give me my letter and take me shopping for my supplies. Oh how I can't wait to mind fuck them, maybe ill convince them I'm a seer, wouldn't that be great.
