You’re a bit short

Once they'd both stopped laughing, and had taken a brief moments pause in the ongoing conversation to have a slight bit of time to collect themselves, Emma opened her eyes and lifted her gaze from her shoes and the floor up to Ethan's face, and Ethan did the same, however, even after lifting his gaze to look at Emma's delicate face his gaze was still pointed down.

"You're a bit short aren't you?" Asked Ethan with a devilishly handsome smirk on his face as he reached out his arm slowly and carefully and gently placed his large palm oh top of her head.

Emma's cheeks reddened a considerable amount due to his actions, however, despite the light flutter of her heart, and the darkening of her rosy cheeks she pouted and puffed out her cheeks like a squirrel once again. 

"Hey, now you listen here! I'm above average height for a female. So that means I'm tall. It's not my fault that you're a guy and I'm not."

Emma retorted almost angrily.
