Banter with a friend

Emma was entirely unconvinced by Chris but was still happy that Chris would try to cheer her up. She wondered if her cooking had really looked that bad. It didn't look that bad to her when she'd cooked it, well... She'd never cooked it, or anything, before, so she also didn't know how it was actually supposed to look anyway.

"If that's so, do you want to try my dishes next time? Since you seem to like it so much and all." Emma said, her face adorned with a cheeky grin.

Chris could practically feel sweat dripping down her face, her eyes shaking as she tried to find a way to wriggle out of this newfound responsibility. "I... I wouldn't want to trouble you...?" She tried.

"It's no problem, I mean, if you don't want to you could just say it..." Emma said whilst smirking.

"I, I have a delicate palate?" She tried again, her eyebrows furrowed and her fake smile threatening to come off.
