Betrayal

Shikari and Ryutaka were walking when a crunching sound stopped them.

Shikari immediately tensed and was drawing his sword, Ryutaka was slowly turning to face Shikari.

"Shikari-San...." Ryutaka said returning Shikari's attention to him.

before Shikari could utter a word a kunai was coming for his arm at a fast speed.

Shikari jumped back and acting surprised said: "what is the meaning of this?!"

Ryutaka chuckled and walked towards Shikari holding up a kunai.

"you fool! you really thought that this was a normal mission!" Ryutaka said as he dashed toward Shikari slashing the kunai horizontally across Shikari's stomach.

Shikari dodged and he heard the sound of a sword approaching his back.

Shikari tried jumping out of the way and he almost dodged the attack.....almost.

the sound of steel cutting through fabric was heard as the attacker managed to get tear a part of Shikari's jacket almost hitting him.

Shikari frowned that jacket was expensive.

"surprised that you dodged that." the new attacker said.

Shikari turned to face the newcomer to see that he was your typical thug.

"come out." Shikari said seemingly to no one.

"well seems like hiding is useless now." another man said as he jumped down from a tree.

following that other people also came out.

in total there were six people surrounding him.

Shikari's eyes widened then he fell on the ground and coughed some 'blood'

"See I told you that poisoning him would work!" Ryutaka said.

then the first man that came out of the tree seemingly the leader walked to Shikari's position before kneeling down beside him.

"give up kid or else....." the man started.

"I-I give u-" before 'Shikari' could continue he puffed out of existence.

"Shadow Clone?!" Ryutaka surprised said.

Shikari immediately drew his sword from his position atop a tree and dashed toward a random thug.

Slash.

just one slash from Shikari's sword is what it took to claim the thug's life.

the group of thugs turned around to notice Shikari standing over the dead body of their comrade.

"You bastard!" one of them shouted lunging toward Shikari.

"ShunShin no Jutsu." ( body flicker technique ) Shikari muttered under his breath.

in an instant, Shikari's body disappeared not having to do any hand seals since he mastered the Jutsu.

"What the-where is he?!" a thug started saying.

"behind you."

the thug's head was sliced clean off of his body rolling onto the ground.

'two down four remaining' Shikari thought.

Shikari at that time was the grim reaper's incarnation taking away people's life with one swift slash of his sword.

Shikari body flickered again and killed another thug by cutting his back wide open.

'three remaining'

however unfortunately for Shikari the remaining three were trained ninjas that could use Jutsus.

the three dashed at Shikari from east, west, and north.

the leader who was coming from the north drew out his sword and slashed at Shikari diagonally.

Shikari blocked the blow with his sword and as the two clashed with their swords the other two approached quickly forming hand seals which surprised Shikari.

"Katon: goukakyuu no jutsu!" (fire release: great fireball technique)

"Fūton: Daitoppa!" (wind release: great breakthrough)

the wind release Jutsu strengthened the fire release one hurling a huge fireball of doom toward Shikari.

Shikari couldn't dodge so he instead started going through hand signs.

"Doton: Shinjuu Zanshu no Jutsu!" (Double Suicide Decapitation Technique) Shikari muttered quietly.

the fireball rushed toward 'Shikari' burning him beyond recognition but just keeping him alive.

the three smugly walked towards 'Shikari' and before they could say anything 'Shikari' puffed out of existence.

the real Shikari jumped up from behind Ryutaka holding him with his sword near his neck.

"if you move he gets it." Shikari said taking Ryutaka hostage.

both froze in place not daring to move to save their comrade's life.

"drop your weapons," Shikari commanded.

"wha-"

"Did I stutter?" Shikari said menacingly pushing the sword against Ryutaka's neck drawing some blood.

"Ok, but leave him alone!" the leader said.

"Fine, just drop your weapons." Shikari urged.

the leader and the other man dropped their weapons trying to save their friend.

Shikari then coldly cut Ryutaka's head off.

"you basta-" the other guy tried saying.

"Katon: Kasumi Enbu no Jutsu!" (Mist Waltz Technique)

Shikari blew a mist out of his mouth and unknown to his opponents it was a combustible mist.

the leader didn't stand by idly rushing towards Shikari and attacking him like a wild bear.

Shikari dodged easily and started forming hand seals.

"Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu!" (Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique)

the leader suddenly stopped moving and fell to the ground unconscious.

the other man had gotten up a long time ago and shouted: "Katon: Gokakyuu no Jutsu!"

'fool' Shikari thought before picking up the leader's body and dashing away with the body flicker technique.

the other man didn't understand why Shikari ran away but after the fireball touched the mist he understood.

horrifying screams came from the man, the mist had caught on fire and the man was currently burning alive with no nearby water source to save him.

Shikari had long run away from the blood bath that was the fight.

he had killed not one not two, three, four but five people.

however, Shikari didn't feel guilt like he thought he would. instead, he actually felt happy.

Shikari knew that if he returned the leader to be interrogated by the Yamanakas he wouldn't know anything so he decided to interrogate the man himself.

Shikari first tied the leader's unconscious body with the high-quality ninja wire he purchased.

then he woke the man up by kicking him straight in the Jaw.

the man woke up frightened and looked around only to find himself and the boy alone in the jungle.

"It's you!" the man said venom and hatred lacing his voice.

"yes, it's me." Shikari calmly replied.

"I. am. going. to. kill you!" the man said trying to free himself from the ninja wire.

"tsk. no, no, no, don't be hasty my dear friend, or else...." Shikari said mimicking what the leader had done to his shadow clone and knelt down.

"Now, if you tell me all you know I will let you go." Shikari said with a fake sweet voice.

"NO! I am not going to tell you anything." the man continued struggling.

"We could do this either the easy way...or the hard way." Shikari threatened his body radiating a cold Aura.

"Try me bitch!" the man challenged.

"don't say I didn't warn you." Shikari said as he started doing some hand seals.

"Magen: Narakumi no Jutsu." (Demonic Illusion: Hell Viewing Technique)

as soon as the man was put in the genjutsu his body started struggling even harder against the ninja wire his mouth was busy with screaming at the top of his voice.

Shikari stopped the genjutsu and asked again: "so, are you going to tell me or not?"

"in your dreams!"

Shikari sighed then Shook his head he put the man in the genjutsu again.

Shikari repeated the process over and over again using other methods of torture.

the man finally gave up and told him everything he knows.

'Kimimaro huh.'

I know I know. I was supposed to make a chapter and publish it yesterday but I went out with my friend and I completely forgot.

also, this chapter is late because of the unbearable pain in the side of my neck.

I woke up today feeling the worst pain I have ever felt in my neck.

I couldn't and still can't turn my head/neck because if I did pain was waiting for me so....anyways bye.
