New World Chp 53

#TIMESKIP ONE DAY LATER#

"How do you feel?" I asked Jean

"I feel like someone ignited all of my nerves and then put alcohol in order to heal my wounds," Jean said in obvious pain.

I looked at Hera as she was still unconscious with serious wounds but thanks to her being a goddess she was healing. Granted I had to help heal her since some of her injuries were too severe to heal by themselves as I saw that she was healing at least four times faster than a healthy human.

Unfortunately, she had broken a broken arm and a deep gash on the other. One of her legs was broken and with a noticeable bone peeking out. I used some magic to heal her as best I could heal some deep gashes on her but not completely as I had wrapped some bandages around her as best I could.

I had to steal some money from an ATM and rent this room in a motel that was cheap. I got some medical supplies from a pharmacy down the road. We are currently in Baltimore in this new world.

I made a sunstone crystal to make a fortress but the process is slow since for some reason my core is not charging up as fast as before. Thankfully, I can still use it but I have to be careful with it. I am healing Hera at intervals as my core regen is slow at the moment.

My biggest concern is flying out in space since I calculated how fast Omni-Man flies around on Earth and I am sure the people of this world must have technology that is capable of tracking me flying around. I could run around but I don't want to leave these two here.

"Just stay here for a bit we both... I mean we all need some rest even if you don't have to sleep," Jean said the last part looking at Hera who looked like she was sleeping now.

"You are right we need to rest and find a way to go home," I told her after a few moments as she was she looked like she was forcing herself to stay awake.

I leaned over and kissed her gently and laid her down.

"I will be above the clouds don't worry I will take us home soon," I said trying to let her know I will take us home.

I open the window and fly away once she is asleep I close it behind me as I cast a spell to send an alarm in case someone tries to break in.

I frown as I notice that the spell is a lot weaker and is not even going to last 24 hours at most 9 hours until it dissipates.

I shake my head and go flying into space until I reach a satellite and sit on it. The sun charging me with more power and I could feel my core charging up faster.

"Sitting on satellite in space is not the way I saw my life going," I said to myself

Who is Omni-Man?

I began to look around for him around the Earth. But I stopped.

(he seems like a hero I have no reason to spy on him but until I get a base of operations running I am sure he won't be too bad.) I thought to myself

I had a sunstone that I began to make into a pseudo fortress crystal but it will take a while. Right now I am a bit worried about the amount of materials it's going to take. Then I remembered about the 7th Makluan ring

I began to look at the ninth Makluan ring since it was the one that opened the portal that brought us here after it absorbed a lot of energy.

(Maybe it caused it to overcharge and bring us out of our universe or multiverse since the Guardian of the Globe are new, Omni-Man may be able to help but something about him seems off) I thought

(What he said in his speech about fight a lot of powerful beings means he is very strong he can also fly and I am guessing he can move at super-speed as well and he can lift some very large objects without breaking on themselves something) I thought

(Either he is a super soldier experiment or an alien I am going to have to check on that at the very least I am not alone in this new world) I thought to myself as I remembered Zeus bolt

(Thankfully, I made sure that people couldn't see us dress weirdly to them. The bolt appears to be weakened severely) I got out Zenith as I could still feel its power but it felt muted for some reason

If I really am in a new multiverse entirely I am going to have to find out how powerful I still am since I may not have the same capabilities as before. I could feel my adaptation slowly working on something but that was it I have no idea how to even test it right now to what I am even adapting to but I will figure it out.

I heard Hera waking up slowly since I was paying attention to them both It's time I learn what Zeus did to make himself that powerful...
