Aquaman chapter 5 :The Titanic's Salvation

Chapter 5: The Titanic's Salvation

In a display of awe-inspiring power, Godzilla stretched his colossal paws and reached down into the frigid waters of the Atlantic. He grasped the shattered remnants of the Titanic, lifting the broken cruise ship out of the icy depths. The sudden action prevented passengers from leaping into the sea, halting a potential tragedy.

Standing atop Godzilla's head, Arthur held his trident high and addressed the survivors, their emotions ranging from relief to suspicion. "Don't panic! Hold onto something if you don't want to find yourself plunging into the sea."

The mood among the survivors was mixed. Some exclaimed in relief, "Finally, we are saved!" while others harbored doubts. A murmur of skepticism arose among the crowd as they contemplated the sudden turn of events.

"Don't be fooled by him. He's not here to save us. Wasn't it this monster that caused our situation in the first place?" questioned one of the passengers, casting doubt on their salvation.

Annoyed by the distrust, another survivor retorted, "Can't you see? We're being saved! Just be grateful!"

The exchange continued, with some passengers unwilling to let go of their suspicions. Godzilla had attacked them earlier, and now he was their savior. Doubt and fear had firmly taken root in their minds.

Sensing the growing discord, Arthur amplified his voice with the power of the trident to command attention. "Everyone, quiet!" he proclaimed. "I apologize for the actions of this giant earlier that led to this catastrophe. It was not intentional."

However, Godzilla interjected with a voice that was both firm and unapologetic, "No, it was intentional. They had the audacity to disrupt the iceberg I spent years creating. They should be thankful that we're saving them now instead of doubting us."

Arthur's exasperation was palpable as he chastised Godzilla, "You just had to ruin things with your colossal ego!"

Nevertheless, he continued, "Since you've heard the truth that the blame lies with those on the ship, I implore you to follow my instructions."

Arthur then leaped into the icy water, fully prepared to aid those struggling to stay afloat. As an underwater hero, he could breathe freely beneath the waves and swim effortlessly. In his first dives, he managed to save up to five people.

Realizing that his efforts weren't sufficient to rescue everyone, Arthur utilized the power of the trident to summon marine life to their aid. Whales, sharks, dolphins, and colossal squids began to encircle Arthur, answering his call. He directed these oceanic allies to assist the struggling survivors, both those floating on the water's surface and those submerged beneath.

While the rescued passengers were initially shocked by the sight of killer whales and sharks, they soon realized that these creatures were their salvation, not their doom. Under Arthur's guidance, the marine life ferried survivors to safety.

Meanwhile, Godzilla approached a nearby iceberg, carefully carrying the damaged ship. Arthur shouted a warning, "Be careful! We mustn't cause any harm to those we've saved."

Understanding the urgency, Godzilla gingerly set the ship atop the iceberg. With the vessel now secured, Arthur leaped from the water onto the ship's deck. He urged the survivors to find warm clothing and gather whatever supplies they could find.

The survivors, curious and fearful of their unconventional saviors, began to organize on the iceberg. Some discussed the situation amongst themselves, pondering the motivations of these superpowered beings.

Unknown Individual 1: "Do you see that? It looks like some kind of superpower. And what's with that gigantic fork he's holding?"

Unknown Individual 2: "Did he just ask us to stay on this iceberg? Is he planning on feeding us to the monster with that giant fork?"

Unknown Individual 3: "I don't think so. If he wanted to feed us to the monster, why did he save us in the first place?"

Unknown Individual 4: "Maybe it was because we were on the ship, but now that we're on the iceberg, it might be convenient for him to feed us to that monster. Or perhaps the monster enjoys its meals on ice."

Unknown Individual 5: "That's quite an imagination you have there."

Unknown Individual 6: "I think what he's saying might be true. I saw the monster attack us before."

Unknown Individual 7: "I saw it too."

As discussion continued, Captain Smith took charge and reassured the passengers, "Everyone, stay calm. We've already contacted a ship, and it's on its way here. We just need to hold on for four hours, and we'll be saved."

The news of impending rescue brought relief to the survivors, yet the bitter cold remained a persistent threat. Some found it difficult to endure the frigid conditions as they waited for the rescue ship.

As Arthur continued to save more survivors and ferry them to the iceberg, he couldn't help but notice two passengers, Jack and Rose, who had found solace in each other's arms. Their embrace and kisses were a source of warmth in the midst of the chilling ordeal.

Watching the couple, Arthur couldn't help but roll his eyes. He was, after all, a solitary hero. As the passengers shared tender moments in the face of adversity, Arthur couldn't help but feel a tinge of longing in his heart.
