Chapter 99 Pay me first

“No, you can’t wait for me, I will be coming home very late today”

“Late? You can’t be working late, is dangerous for a woman to work late at night, and I wouldn’t allow you to work late, you have to quit this job” Paul said angrily.

Christy raised an eyebrow. “And who are you to tell me what to do?”

Paul thought Christy has changed a lot, she is very bold now, talking to him without respect, but that didn’t change the way he feels about her. She is still his Christy, the women he has come to love so badly.

“How many times will I tell you that am your husband?” he whispers to her because he was beginning to get piss off.

Christy stood there looking at him and thinking “Maybe I should just play along with him and take more money from him so I will be able to start my business when I finish learning.

So she smile at him making Paul wonder what is wrong with her.

“So you are my husband?” she ask in a mockery way.

“Yes”

“Ok, so how come I don’t see our wedding picture anywhere?”

“Everything is in the house, if you come with me I will show you everything, our traditional marriage and white wedding everything is there”

“Hmmm, you, I know your type” Christy said. “you are just looking for whom to sleep with huh…”

“What are you talking about?” he ask surprise

“If you want me so badly then you have to pay me for my service” she said and Paul almost choke.

“Christy what has come over you?, please come back to me, this is not you please” he started begging almost to cry.

The very thing that Paul hate is what Christy is doing right now.

“Look Mr. man, am busy, you can come back later when you are more serious” she said and turned to leave.

Paul was dumbstruck, he thought he was dreaming but no, is happing live, he wanted to stop her from going but she has left already.

Paul when straight to James office, he was so weak and tired.

“What is going on man? Did you labour so much, but I thought you are the MD? Why are you so weak?”

“Can I sleep here for a minute?

“Sleep? This is an office man, if you want to sleep go home, take my key, go to my house and sleep if you don’t want to go to your house”

“I don’t think I can sleep” Paul said.

“Ok…ok… tell me what is going on? You said you want to sleep just now, and then you don’t think you can sleep, what’s up?”

 “Is Christy”

“Ok, I know is Christy, what has she done this time?”

“Can you imagine Christy telling me to pay her if I want to sleep with her?”

“Hahahahaha,” James laugh without stopping.

“Guy am serious and you are laughing”

“Ok, did you ask to sleep with her?”

“No”

“So how come?”

“I don’t know, we were discussing and boom, she said she knows my type, and that if I want to sleep with her I should pay her for her service, can you imagine that?, Something is wrong James”

“Hahaha, you are funny, you and Christy are the funniest people I have ever known”

“I don’t understand you” Paul said angrily.

“I told you to leave her alone for now, she will come around, get someone else for the time been”

“And you think I’ve not done that already?” Paul ask James.

“Really!!, Tell me who is she? Please tell me” James left all he was doing to pay attention.

“Why are you so happy?”

“No..no..no.. I just want to know the lucky girl”

“Is Sharon”

“What!” James was disappointed “How can you do that?”

“I know I fuc*ked up, but I was following your advice and Sharon just shown up, you know”

“You can’t sleep with the enemy Paul” James said hitting his desk.

“What are you talking about mann..?”

“You are making a big mistake Paul, you can’t have anything to do with her, she is your ex- not just ex but ex-wife.”

“I know that”

“What if she got pregnant? You will loss Christy for life”

“No, I can’t loss her, so what do you advice?”

“Stay away from Sharon” James yell at Paul, “There are lots of girls out there, when your done they go their way, you go your way no one knows anyone”

 “Yea, is all my fault, but she shown up when I needed it so badly”

“Next time bath cool water” James yells at Paul.

“Yes sir” Paul said looking at James behaving like his dad.

Paul went back to Christy’s house in the evening to check up on her.

“You can go inside,” her mother said to Paul and he walked into Christy’s room but got the shocking sight of his left.

Christy was busy counting money she has save, and is a huge sum of money. Paul knew the money might not be the one he has given her, so where did she get such money from? “I hope she is not sleeping with men to get this kind of money?”

“What are you doing in my room and who ask you to come here?” she stop what she was doing to face him.

“I…I…I… your mother ask me to come in, that I will see you here”

“Come sit down” she invited him in, while putting the money away, making Paul to think she is crazy, “I thought she will get mad at me”. But Christy was thinking something else. She thought she can use Paul to complete her money, since he wouldn’t let her be, she better make use of this opportunity. So she became nice to him.

Paul followed her and sat down on the chair.

“So you said you’re my husband right?”

“Yes”

“Ok, and you came all the way to see me without bringing anything with you, is that how husbands behave?”

“Look, I don’t have a problem giving you things, but I have a problem with you not knowing who I am to you”

Christy smile at him “Maybe he needs me to touch him” she reasoned, “I will do to him what I saw in that movie then he will have no choice but to give me the money” she thought.

“And why are you looking at me like that?” Paul ask her seeing the way Christy looked at him and smiling like she was about to do something bad to him.

“Do you want me?” she ask.

“Yes, I want you so badly”

“Hmmm I can see, but the problem is that I need money to buy something”

“You don’t have a problem, I will give you money, just come back to me”

“If I come back to you will you give me the money?”

“Yes, I will give you the money and more”

“Hmmm, is working” Christy thought, “this guy is a real fool, I think I will use him to get all the money I want for my fashion business and then I will dump him just like that”

“So what do you want to do now?” she ask Paul.

“I don’t know, what do you want?”

She walk close to Paul seductively while Paul just looked at her “This is not Christy” he thought but he keeps watching what she will do.

She took off her top, leaving only her bra, she remembered what she saw in the movie so she took of her skirt, Paul was still looking at her.

She looked at him, bringing out her tongue and licking her upper lips. Just like in the movie.

But then Paul thought he has seen enough.

“Christy will you stop? What are you doing?”

“You don’t like it?” she paused.

“Do you know what you look like?” Paul ask her.

“But I was trying to please you” so you give the money she added in a whisper.

“What did you say?”

“Oh. Nothing” she took her cloth to cover herself.

“Christy you don’t need to try hard to please me, I love you just the way you are”

“Whatever” she murmured “you just don’t want to give me the money” she said still murmuring.

“Can you come with me” Paul suddenly ask her.

“What! To where? No”

“Why?”

“If you want me to come with you, you have to pay me”

Paul wanted to yell “are you serious?” but said yes instead.

“Ok, so how much do you want?”

Christy thought for a second, her money remains five hundred thousand to complete the amount she needs to start.

“Five hundred thousand” she said.

“What? What are you going to do with that? Are you selling yourself to me?”

“Do you want me or not?” Paul thought she was joking.

“Fine, I will give you the money, but you have to stay in my house for five months”

“Are you ok in your head?” Christy ask.

“Yes, am very much ok, is you I should be asking that question, for goodness sakes what do you want to do with that amount of money?”
