Chapter 153

“No my child don't talk like that. I keep looking for solution for you, all you need to do is follow me to the house let the man of God pray for you and everything will be fine”

“Mum are you sure?”

“ I'm very sure”.

 Sharon agreed to follow her mum to the house and the man was called. He came putting on a white garment with a bonnet cap. He start hopping around the house. “ I see,… I see evil  hovering over this house, a sacrifice must be made”. He said and keep hopping and ringing a small bell in his hand.

 Sharon open her eyes looking at the man as he hop, her eyes following the man wherever he goes. She just scoff at him.

“You need to bring  her to the temple, come along with all the items that I told you for the cleansing, a total cleansing has to be done on her”.  The man said and took Sharon’s mum aside.

“Madam, I hope the money I ask for the work is ready? And  also come with the money to the temple”

 “No problem, your money is not a problem just do your work and money will never be a problem”.

“ hahaha, he laughed looking at Sharon who just rumple her face as she watch the man and his mother talking in low tone. He took his bell and went away.

“Mum are you serious right now?, You want me to go with that man to do what?. That man don't look like a man of God to me”

“Shut your mouth, what do you know?, children of nowadays you like arguing about everything. Don’t look at the man that way, he is a very powerful man, don't worry just do what you’re told and then you see the result.”

“Mum, if I may ask, Patrick is asking for a divorce, so what will be the meaning of all this?”

 “Don’t worry, after he finish everything Patrick will not ask for divorce again”

“What?, Mum!. are you trying to enchant him?”

 “That is not what it is my child, just do what you’re told and leave the rest”

 Sharon reluctantly follow her mum to the prophet’s temple. After much incantation they took Sharon to the river and ask her to tie a white piece of clothes round her chest.

“Mum this is the height of it. I will not do this, I will not do this”. She said and start walking way.

 “What are you doing Sharon?  You cannot back out now is dangerous”.

 “Whatever. I don’t care, but I am not going to tie a piece of white clothe  for that man to do what mum?. Please just leave me alone”. She walked to her car and drove away.

“What!. what did your daughter just do?. The prophet ask. “Your daughter has just disgraced the powers of the stump and she must be greatly punished”.

“Please prophet, forgive me and forgive her”.  She went on her knees begging the prophet.

“No, she will pay you are going to bring one cow, Three hundred thousand, two white basin, two white hen, and two bags of rice”.

“No problem, I’ll bring everything to you please forgive her.”

The prophet storm out of the water side and went home.
