Chapter 117 Buy me a car
“What? You already told her?” James yell at Paul for letting the cat out of the bag.
“What will you have me do? Is good thing she agreed for me to marry a second wife”
“What about Christy? Will she agree too?”
“Oh yes Christy, that is where the problem is, I will have to explain to her first”
“Is ok, if you want me to bring out the papers then just let me know”
“Alright thanks, but is going to be a huge shock to my mother, I hope she accepts her this time and let me live a happy life”
“I hope so too, but you’ve made money why not go away from your mother’s shadow?”
“I will, when Christy accept to move in with me, I have a plan of buying a mansion for her away from Bianca and my mother”
“That is a good idea bro, just be happy man.. I feel for you, look Patrick is getting married next week, but here you are still battling for happiness”
“Will you blame me? Is all my mother’s fault, am only trying make my mother happy”
“Then what about you?, You need to be happy too, think about it bro and make the right decision, if it means sending Bianca away please do and be happy for once”

“Yes, you didn’t marry her under the law, it was traditional marriage and you were not even there so invariably you can still say no”

Just as they were still talking Paul’s phone rang, is his mother.
“Oh my God, I told Bianca not to tell my mother anything and she still went ahead to tell her. Man I will see you later.”
“Ok, please take it easy”
He rushed home to see his mother.
“Mom long time”
“Yes son, how are you and your new wife?, I heard the news so I rushed down immediately”
“What news mom?”
“She didn’t tell you that she is pregnant”
“Oh that! She told me”
“Well congratulations am going to be a grandmother”
“But mom you are already a grandmother”
“Hmm, Bianca please get me something to eat” she said instead.
“Yes ma” Bianca got up and rush to the kitchen.
“Mom why do you hate Christy that much? And even my daughter”
“Are we still talking about that girl?”
“Yes mom because she is the mother of my daughter and you have to accept her as your granddaughter”
“Did I say that she is not my granddaughter?”
“Mom this is not right, Christy is the only woman I have ever loved and I won’t stop loving her”
“That’s your business, I can’t accept gold diggers into my house”
“What if I tell you that she is now a millionaire?”
“Then good for her, only God knows how many men she has scam to become a millionaire, look you don’t have to fall for such stupid girls”
“Mom please stop” Paul walk away angrily.
“Whatever, just get me water to drink”
“Yes ma here is the water” Bianca brought her food and water and they starts discussing.
“Do you know that you are a very smart girl? I was waiting to hear complains from you when I left you here, I waited and waited but nothing, instead you gave me good news”
“Yes ma” Bianca smile.
“You know what? I am getting you a car and a new driver.”
“What? O my God…. O my God… thank you mom am so happy mom, thank you” Bianca was over the roof with joy hugging and kissing her mother in-law.
“Is ok my daughter, for making me proud am going to surprise you”
“Yes mom, let me call my mother and tell her the good news”
“No problem go ahead”
Paul was just looking at his mom and he felt like crying, if only his mom would love Christy this way, he would have been the most happiest man on earth, but because she hate the person he love has made him not to be happy till this moment.
He went outside and call Christy.
“Hello, how are you Christy?”
“Am fine and you?”
“Am not feeling fine”
“Is anything the problem?”
“Can I see you?”
“Now?
“Yes now, are you busy?”
“Amm… no, ok where are you”
“Come to the hotel”
“Ok I will be there”
Christy left all she was doing and went to Paul, immediately he saw her he hugged her and tears fell from his eyes for the first time.
“Wait, are you crying? What happened?, Are you not feeling fine?”
“What can I do for you Christy?”
“What? Do for me?”
“Tell me, anything, just say it and it will be done”
Christy was surprised, she didn’t need anything and the question came so sudden.
“Should I buy you a car?”
“What! A car, I have a car”
“I know, but you can change it or better still give that one to Bridget”
“Give to Bridget? That sounds great thank you, you mean you are really going to buy me a car?”
“Yes, I will and more”
“O my goodness thank you, you are so sweet”
“Anything for you my love”
“So.. why were you crying earlier?”
“Oh..I wasn’t crying I was so happy to see you… because I love you so much”
“So when am I going to see my daughter, you said I have a daughter with you right?”
“Yes”
“Ok, I will love to see her”
“Really? Thank you my love” Paul hug her not wanting to let go.
“You know what? First thing tomorrow I will bring her to your office”
“That will be lovely, I will wait for you”
“Ok” he hug and kiss her one more time and let her go; So happy now he went home.
“Paul were did you go? I was looking for you”
“I stepped out any problems?”
“No, I was just wondering if you went to see her a again” Paul wanted to say “and so” but remembered his mom is around.
“No, I just stepped out”
“Ok, let’s eat”
“You can go ahead and eat, am not hungry” he went straight to his room and close the door.
“Whatever, is not as if you eat in this house”.
Next day Paul offer to take Sharon to school instead of the maid.
“Yes daddy thank you”
“Anything for my sweet baby”
They entered the car and Paul gave his daughter the good news.
“Guess what sweetie, am taking you to your mom, she wants to see you”
“Really? O thanks dad, what did I do today to get all this surprises?”
“Because you are a good girl and you are your daddy’s little angel, so you will get all the good things of life”
“Yes dad, thank you” Sharon smile from ear to ear so happy to see her mom.
They walk to Christy’s office only to find lucky in the office.
“Mommy…” Sharon yell and rushed to hug her mother but this time she hug her back smiling at her.
“How are you my sweetheart?”
“Am fine mom, I miss you everyday”
“I miss you too honey, forgive mommy ok”
“Excuse me, did she just call you Mommy?”
Christy turned to look at Paul who was also looking at her.
“I can explain this lucky”
“And who is he?” pointing at Paul.
“Please lucky let’s discuss this outside” Christy said.
“No, there is no need, you have a child and you didn’t tell me? And this guy, I think I’ve seen him before”
Sharon could only look from her dad to mom and to this other man, “what are they talking about?”
“I have to take Sharon to school, see you later, and call me in case” Paul whispers the last word to Christy and took Sharon away from the scene.
“I can’t believe you, I’ve been wasting my time all this while”
“Lucky please you have to understand me, I didn’t know I had a child”
“And what about him?”
“He’s the father of my child”
“Shit… lucky you are a fool” he hit on the table and walk away.
“Lucky please try and understand me, after the accident I couldn’t remember any of this things please”
“Stop following me, am so disappointed in you, shit”
She went back to her office and didn’t know what to do. “I think I’ve lost them both, Paul will be very angry with me while lucky… I think he’s not coming back, what do I do?”
Paul dropped Sharon at school and when to work but he couldn’t concentrate, “I hope that guy will not lay his hands on my wife, I will kill him if he does” he picked up his phone to call.
“Hello Christy how are you and where are you?”
“Am in the office”
“Are you ok?”
“Yes am fine”
“Ok, just checking up on you”
“Thank you Paul, I love you”
“I love you more” he hang up and went back to work with peace of mind.
