The deal

He chuckled quietly "Have a seat. I won't be long" He said.

I nodded and sat at an empty table on a barrel seat away from anyone else. He grinned and walked over to a group of pirates. He tapped the captain's shoulder and there stood a tall man with charcoal black hair and a beard. He had scars all over his face and a missing finger. "Hello captain. It's good to see you again" He smirked at him.

I blinked watching. "Did you bring what I asked for?" The pirate asked stepping closer. Seth grinned "Indeed. But first, I need more then just passage aboard your ship" He said.

"Really? What's that?" He questioned with a raised brow.

"My.. friend also needs passage. He stays with me and he's not to be harmed. You tell no one about this, is that clear?" He asked sternly. The pirate scoffed with a grin "That wasn't part of the deal" He stated.

Seth brought his hand to his chin stroking a bit. "Then how about a game? You're not afraid of a little gambling, are you?" He suggested. He narrowed his eyes slightly "What if I win?" He asked.

He chuckled "Then I will double your payment" He answered. "But if I win, I keep the jewels and I'm permitted passage on your ship along with my friend" He added.

The pirate hesitated but nodded. "Shall we begin?" He sat at a table with cards, coins, and everything needed for gambling. He grinned and sat in front of him "Indeed" he said.
