All In

The pirate nodded once more and the two of them began to play. A swarm of people watched, all intrigued. I tilted my head curiously as I continued to watch from a distance. I could hear laughter and nails tapping on the table. The time went by in what felt like both an instant and forever. I bit my lip slightly nervous.

"All in" I heard Seth's voice. His snake like voice. Almost seductive along with a smirk. The pirate grinned hiding his nervousness "Okay. If that's how you want to play it, then so am I" He stated putting out all of his coins on the table.

The crowd started to whisper to each other and finally they revealed their cards. The pirate blinked in shock looking at the cards. He slammed his fist on the table and stood up.

"What? Don't tell me you're a sore loser?" Seth smiled innocently at him as he collected the coins.

I giggled quietly and stood up glancing at him. The pirate sighed "Well I suppose you win this time, snake" he said.

He nodded grinning and walked over to me grabbing my hand. "I already know the way. I'll meet you there, captain" He winked at him and we walked out together.

I furrowed my brows as we walked towards the dock. I wasn't quite sure what it was, but I didn't like it. I didn't like the way he flirted with the pirate or the way he looked at him. Maybe.. no way. There is no way I could ever be.. jealous. Right?
