chapter 1

Lily stood before the mirror looking at the woman in it . she felt as if she's really the Gold-digger Jake called her the other day. She turn her back to the mirror and wipe her tears. She and Jake had been best friends but their social background was the only barrier as she was homeless and worse an orphan ,it was during those tough days when she left the orphanage and begin to wander about that met miss grande an old childless widow who accommodated her but now she's gone. Lily thought ruefully rubbing her still flat belly with her left hand .

"Miss lily it's time" mr Grush the housekeeper said looking at the sad little miss Grande's face.

"OK" she replied slowly as she put down her veil to her face and wound her hands to the old man's arm.

They both walk down the aisle until they halt in front the priest . Lily flinch when she met Jake's angry gaze. If looks can kill she would have been dead by now. She couldn't believe her best friend who use to look at her with so much adoration now look at her with disgust, anger and hatred . she swallowed looking away to hide her tears. After saying the vow and exchange of rings the priest pronounce them man and wife and ask them to kiss

She thought Jake was not going to kiss her since she was a disgusting animal as he called her last night in the presence of his girlfriend and her arrogant rich friends. She gasp in surprise as her mouth was captured in a kiss by Jake but it end very quickly as it started .

Now she have to face reality, face her husband ,face her husband's family who loathe the sight of her ,face Anabelle Jake's saucy girlfriend and her arrogant parents.

She gulp when Jake's grandma cast her a furious stare. She walk beside jake as they approach the big limousine . she quietly sat on the chair lost to her own world unaware of the hateful stares of Jake until the car halt in a familiar mansion. She quietly turn only to meet Jake hateful stares ,she look down and look up when she felt Jake getting out of the car ,she blindly follow him only to bump on him

" isn't it enough you've ruin my life bitch right? He said pushing her away which earn a painful shout when her ass hit the floor. Lily looked at him tearfully and watch him enter inside leaving her in her helpless state.

She slowly stand up but stop when she felt a sharp pain on her abdomen .she pray silently that her baby should be okay.

She looked at the house Jake bought so that he will have peace when hanging with her. Then she was his best friend counsellor & sister. But now she's just a whore , gold-digger ,disgusting and a bitch

She sob on the thought but wipe her tears when she saw Jake walking towards the kitchen . she followed hoping to explain things better to him.
