You Always Sound Like An Idiot

Eden closed Facebook with a sigh. Jonah Kelly was every bit as much a mystery as before but she didn't care much. Thinking about him only served to remind her of Troy and that was problematic when she was still laid up at home. 

She couldn't wait to get back to her life. She needed to get out of this house and get some fresh air before she completely gave into despair. 

Jonah messaged her again. 'Did you end up having a concussion after all?'

She was surprised he was still talking to her, though she supposed asking about her health was the polite thing to do considering he had been the one to send her to the hospital. 'Yeah. I've been going stir crazy at home for the past week. At least I'm allowed to do back to work on Monday'

'You're a research assistant, right? I talked to the person at the front desk about your situation when I went back for my car and they said they would pass the message on to your boss'
