The Understatement Of The Century

Troy noticed that something that briefly revitalized inside Jonah died again a few days after he got that note from Eden. He wouldn't talk about it but it was fairly obvious that she had messaged him back and it hadn't gone the way he wanted.

As an objective onlooker, this was so frustrating to watch. These two idiots were in love with each other but there was nothing he could do about it. He had to respect Jonah's wishes not to rat him out.

It bothered him though. A lot. Eden's health scare had seriously freaked his cousin out. If he was going to worry about her all the time anyway, wouldn't it be better for her to know the truth?

She had been pissed off enough to storm out of the restaurant after thinking the guy she liked led her on only to leave but still cared about him enough to try and hold her friend back after the slapping incident. She had seemed genuinely upset seeing him, which meant she still held on to those feelings.
