High School of the Dead?

"High school of the dead?" I asked the woman standing in front of me "But why?"

The woman was very tall, almost 10 feet, and she was beautiful beyond compare. This was because she wasn't any ordinary woman, she was God.

Yep, that's right. Fucking God. The big ol' G.O. mother fucking D.

It took me about 20 minutes to come to terms with that after she explained herself.

She had said all of the basic reincarnation stuff you know: she was God, I was dead and she'd be transporting me to another world. I was fine with all of that, what I wasn't good with was that she would be picking the world I went to.

I mean come ooooonn. Not only had I died, which fucking sucked balls, but now I didn't even get to choose where I ended up.

When I asked her where it was I'd be going she told me it was the world of HOTD, which wasn't completely shit. But that didn't mean I had to like it.

High school of the dead was a pretty good anime in my opinion. I mean it was a shit ton of fanservice plus gory fight scenes, it's the kinda shit I watch when I'm home alone and drunk out my skull. But that doesn't mean I wanna actually live in that world, that's kinda scary.

I mean who wouldn't be scared of going to a world filled with fuckin zombies?

Zombies were easy to deal with if I had a gun or a bow, but not hand to hand.

Don't get me wrong I can hold my own in a fight, and I've had to on multiple occasions, but not against a zombie.

With a zombie it's one bite and you're done. That's it. No cure.

I don't wanna live like that, fearing for my life at every turn.

It's at this point in my inner ramblings that I remember God is literally before me.

As I look up into her beautiful face she smiles at me before speaking.

"You don't have to worry, dear Cameron. I will give you abilities that will help you to survive of course. I just want to see you thrive in my favourite world, that's all." She said with that same gentle smile on her face.

So I get abilities.

"Do I get to choose them?" I quickly asked as hundreds of abilities flash in my head.

"No. I will choose them, but I am merciful. I will give you abilities that you can use well, and I will even let you have a piece of equipment also." She answered as the smile on her face grew wider, almost to a grin.

"Okay." I reply. Not like I can do much against God anyways.

"Okay then, It's settled." She said as she waved her hand and a purple glow with flecks of gold appeared around me.

I felt my body lighten for a second before becoming extremely heavy and then lighter again until finally stopping at a comfortable level.

I looked down at my naked body to see a body that wasn't mine. It was weird, this body wasn't mine and yet I felt as if I could do anything in it.

My frame was bigger than before, I crept up to a height of 6'4 when I was originally 5'10. Plus my shoulders and back broadened, packed with muscles. I wasn't unfit before but compared to my chiseled physique now, my original body paled in comparison.

Strangely I felt more attuned with my new body than I did my old. I could still use my fighting skills but I felt that this new body could bring out the best in everything I could do. It felt amazing.

It was then that a purple screen popped up in my vision. It had an ornate gold border surrounding the edge and was slightly transparent.

"I have a system?!" I shouted quite loudly in surprise when I saw the screen. God was still glowing in purple and gold with her hand outstretched, so she didn't answer me.

The screen popped up with a status page that read,

/Status

Name: Cameron Scott

Mind: 3.2

Body: 10.0

Soul: 8.2

Abilities: Item Box, Appraisal, Trade, Map, Language Comprehension, Resistance Builder, Deadly Perception, Deal Breaker.

Skills: None/

"Woah!"

That was all I could muster when I looked at my stats and abilities.

Though my mind stat was abysmally low compared to my other two, my abilities were off the charts.

I had the run of the mill system abilities: Map which showed everywhere I'd been, plus a little minimap with my enemies and allies 100 metres around me, Appraisal which showed me the stats of a person or object, Item Box which stored my items in a 10x10x10 metre space, Language Comprehension which allowed me to understand any language easily and Trade which let me gain skills and equipment by trading in Zombie Points(Which I got from killing stuff).

As well as those I had 3 amazing extra abilities: Resistance Builder which doubled the ease of building resistances, Deadly Perception which allowed me to essentially 'see' around me and have an insanely high reaction time and Deal Breaker which essentially let me make anyone or anything my slave so long as my soul stat was higher than it's.

I stared at my abilities for a long time but I honestly couldn't find many faults. Instead of actively building resistances I would rather just out right have all resistances so I couldn't die to the zombie virus, but that's a little OP. And the Item Box skill was a little small but it was more than enough for me to fit what I needed, so I couldn't really complain.

"Okay, now for your item." God said, still with that gentle smile on her face.

Her eyes glowed golden for a second before a weapon appeared before her, floating in the air.

"My spear!" I said as my face lit up like a candle in the dark. I was a professional metalworker in my past life and I had very few hobbies. One of which was making awesome weapons from scrap.

This spear of mine was what I used to train my body, I had worked on it for nearly 10 years.

It wasn't really right to call it a spear though as it had a rather large blade on one end and a flanged mace on the other. Funnily enough I had named it the 'Zombie Slayer' so it kind of fit the scene.

Though I loved my Zombie Slayer, I would've rather had my bow.

Just as I thought that the Zombie Slayer stretched then shrunk in front of my eyes and formed a bow. My eyes opened wide at the sight of it.

"This is an evolving weapon that will take on any form you wish. Of course you will only have these two forms for now, you will have to buy more later."

I nodded to her before she continued.

"Alright then, It is now time for your descent dear. I will put you very close to the start of the timeline you know, I hope you give me a good show dear." As she said this she waved her arm with a bright smile on her face and a beam of purple and gold light enveloped me before I was gone. Transported to another world.

He better last longer than the last one, he didn't even make it to fighting the mutants. How am I supposed to put on a good show if they keep dying so quickly?
