He placed his luggage down and smiled faintly when his mother gave him a hug. It was Friday night when he decided to fly back home and then, talk to them. He only brought a few gifts for his nephew. His mother's eyes widened when she saw the small cut on the corner of his lips. They know that he already broke up with her and it relieved them when she was not around. 

"Okaa-san, I need to go back to Tokyo tomorrow morning already. I'm just here to talk to you." He said and her expression quickly changed. 

"If you want to talk about her, forget it." She said while walking back to the living room. He heaved a deep sigh and immediately followed his mother inside. 

"Okaa-san, I love her. I will marry her." She turned around and furrowed her brows. He is already twenty-nine. He can get married anytime soon. 

"We don't like her—" She was cut off when the doorbell suddenly rang. He went back to open the door and Fuyu forced a smile. 

"What are you doing here?" His mother's voice was strong and firm and she bowed her head. He doesn't know why she is there but it is the moment of truth. 

"Okaa-san, I will marry her." He held her hand tightly and Fuyu just looked down as she knew she was the reason why he went back home. 

"I'm the project head of our department for this season. I have enough savings to hold a wedding and to buy a house. I have investments in different banks. I don't know what more I should do to be accepted by this family. My family raised me well. My twin brother is a celebrity model. My parents are engineers and architects. What else do I need to do?" She said in a low voice. 

"What? How dare you talk to me like that?" He quickly pulled her away behind him and he ended up receiving a slap from his own mother. 

His jaw tightened and without any more words, they left. She stopped walking when she felt that they were far away from his house already. He turned to look at her and she immediately hugged him tight, burying her face on his chest while crying hard. He hugged her back tighter and made sure that he would be able to give her the comfort she longed for. 

"I'm sorry. It took me time to finally realize that I will never be able to live without you. I'm sorry for being the dumbest man in your life." He whispered and she just cried in his arms. 

It is painful to see her like this. He is the reason why she is crying and hurting. He kissed her forehead a few times, thinking that it will ease the sadness she has right now but it seems everything is ineffective. He hailed for a cab and asked the driver to bring them to the nearest hotel around. It was small compared to the ones in Tokyo but he is fine with it as long as they will have time alone together. He placed their luggage at the side and she sat on the edge of the bed. 

"Do you want to take a shower?" He asked and she weakly nodded. He went inside the bathroom to check if everything was clean and when he went back, he saw her taking some clothes from her luggage. 

They didn't exchange any more words that night but they laid down on the same bed. They both missed sleeping next to each other and he didn't hesitate to pull her closer and hug her tight. She wrapped her arm around his waist, burying her face on the crook of his neck. She is now feeling at ease because she is back in his arms. Though she feels bad because of Shohei's pure intentions for her. 

She slowly moved her head to look at him. She noticed that he lost some weight. She gently cupped his cheeks and her thumb gently traced the lip cut. She is wondering if he had a fight with someone. She knows he is the kind of person who doesn't really like getting involved within a fight. He opened his eyes and stared at her. Somehow, she knew this kind of atmosphere and she is not wrong about it. 

She found herself under him, being kissed senselessly while his hands were touching every part of her body. He slipped one inside the robe she is wearing while the other one untied it to reveal her bare body. She broke the kiss, letting out a soft but muffled moan when she felt his fingers getting inside her. She can't help but to blush while covering her lips. She missed his touches and it is driving her crazy. It is amusing that her legs automatically opened for him. She gripped on him tightly, arching her back when his fingers were getting faster.

He remembered that they had an agreement of living separately while they are still not engaged and since he already showed her his intention of marrying her, he thought it would be better if they would start living together. She knows his personality at home and she already saw the bad sides of it. If they start living together now, they will be able to see their own red flags. They will be able to point it out and talk about it on how they should change it. 

"Should we start living together? Though your place is a little far from my workplace." She mumbled and he cupped her cheeks to kiss her lips. 

"We can find a place near our workplaces." He suggested and she nodded her head. Finally, their plans will already happen.
