"AH!" Clay exclaimed as he awoke. He woke up in a pool of sweat, struggling to catch his breath. The dazed Clay immediately started patting his body down, trying to make sure that he still had all his limbs in tact. After all, he did just get thrown into an endless void. 'Who knows? Maybe they took something important.' Clay thought to himself as he checked inside his pants.

Just as Clay was about to stand up, he realized something. Light, he could feel the fresh feeling of sunlight trickling down on his face. Clay was too absorbed with making sure that he still had everything in tact that he forgot to check where he was.

It wasn't the abyss, which made Clay a little happy. 'Is this..' He then thought about what he heard from Lumen. Though he didn't really listen, he did remember some of it.

'A world of sword and magic..' Clay thought to himself as he looked around. He was in some sort of dilapidated ruin of a church. Around him were big chunks of concrete laying around, vines and other weeds sprouting from little crevices on them.

A thick wall of trees surrounded the ruins leaving Clay with no way out. He didn't want to go out anyway, that would be suicide. He merely stood there in awe as he marveled at the scenery around him. Seeing bundles of trees like this standing tall, not getting chopped down felt nice.

Not only that, his body felt somewhat good. It's as if he had already long acclimated into this new world. Even the air he breathe felt nicer. All in all it was a 10/10 experience, except for one small thing--

"What am I supposed to do now.." Clay grumbled as he sat down on a nearby rock. It was at this moment that he regretted not listening to Lumen. He was sure that he was supposed to be doing something heroic by now, but he didn't really know what he was supposed to do. He didn't want to go out to the forest either, the thought of meeting some sort of bear scared the living hell out of him. His body was feeling good, but not bear fighting kind of good.

Just as he was about to pick up his 5th rock to throw at a wall, something happened. A blue faint light shot down from the sky, landing right in front of Clay. Slowly, three other pillars of light shot down all landing in the confines of the ruined church. The startled Clay immediately backed off. He wasn't gonna risk anything.

Suddenly the pillars started forming something. Bit by bit, the thing grew bigger. At first, Clay thought it was some sort of item drop, like from those games, but to his surprise it was something much better. The light formed shoes, and from those shoes came legs and it went on.

The light pillars had formed a person each. Their bodies being assembled bit by bit like Legos. As the transfer finished, the light vanished as quickly as it came. From where it landed stood four people.

Clay couldn't help but be in awe at what just happened. He just watched four people get assembled in real time. It was mostly in the form of little blue lights, so it wasn't bloody by any means, but seeing disembodied legs standing on their own surrounded by blue light was creepy, even if it was only for a few seconds.

The four stood there, calmly observing their surroundings. Three of the four looked way calmer than what you'd expect from someone who's in another world. The last one however was quite strange. It was a girl who looked to be around the age of 17. The girl stood meekly in one corner, Clay could visibly see her shaking, she looked like she would break anytime now.

'At least someone's normal..' Clay thought. Though he didn't really panic this bad, it was clearly how a normal person would react to the current situation, especially if they were that young.

Suddenly one of the four spoke.

It was a man wearing a navy blue business suit, similar to what Clay was wearing. The man had neat blond hair and blue eyes, making him look approachable. The man immediately walks up to Clay with his hand out--

"I'm Jacob, It's nice to meet you!" The man enthusiastically said. Jacob who was still smiling, then went on to greet everybody else the same way. He went up to the scary looking bald guy, and followed it up by going to the other girl in the group, and finally making his way to the highschooler.

The four really didn't do anything to stop him so he went and did it anyway, even the scary looking bald gangster felt obliged to shake Jacob's hand.

Just as the mood was slowly lightening up, a small rustle came out of a bush near the trees. The group immediately backed off, even the smiling Jacob took a step back.

Suddenly something came out.

'What the..' Clay thought to himself as he looked at what came out of the bushes. It looked like one of those goblins from movies, except it's red instead of green, and...

"It's wearing a suit!" Jacob exclaimed as he pointed his finger at the dappered out goblin. The gentlegoblin then proceeded to walk towards the five. Currently, the big bald guy was in front, it looked like he wasn't particularly scared, beside him was Jacob who's eyes glimmered as he looked at the goblin. Behind the two was the woman who was still wearing her sports bra. Clay remembered how she rejected Jacob when he offered her his coat earlier, so he didn't really know what to feel about her. The teenage girl stood behind the three, occasionally taking little peeks at the front, and Clay...

'That suit won't fool me.' he thought. He'd been through a lot, he wasn't gonna take his chances, even if it meant not befriending the spunky goblin in a suit.
