CH4: Mother and son

"so let's start with trying to stand up." a young man less than 8 years old can be said sitting on a king-size bed. but as he starts to crawl to the side of the bed, the door flanked open along with an angry warning "Not without my watching eye young man"

this entry causes the kid to flinch for a second before looking at the door with a wary smile "G...Good morning Mom" She comes closer without answering and hugs him "Good lord.....now I am worried that something is wrong with your head, I don't even remember the last you smile and great me?!!" after said so she starts to fake sniffing sound not even hiding the happy voice under it.

yuuki look at her with death pain gazes 'Is that what mother says to just wake up son?' but sighed and hugged her back "Sorry" said while burning his face in her blossom, causing her to flinch and ask "Way you apologizing for?"

Yuuki looks into her eyes for a second "Everything? I kind of never really even said a word to you for years" he, or more precisely his autopilot body has no real interaction with his mother, and hardly talks to her outside of how you doing? and 'i am good'.

yuuki look away and continued "I know you were always busy with all the work you have, but I kind of thought that you hate me and never wan....." but befour he could continue, she warped him in a tight hug and said "Never, ever say that again" She put his head between her hands and look at him straight in the eye with a warm and motherly smile "you are my only son and my treasure, ther is no way I will hate you"

after a moment of silence, Yuuki smile back at his mother "I know"

anna smile at her son before remembering something to turn her smile to turn mischief "So, what kind of storm do you intend to rise?" hearing this Yuuki didn't know how to answer thanks to the embarrassment about his cringy words and freaking inside of the fear of here being ther the whole time.

with a red face, he ask "You heard that?"

Anna nodded then sighed playfully "I kind of felt my heart stop there for a second. One moment I hear you talking about me being cool and supper mom and stuff, and you want to be like me then a second later you start to scream out of nowhere."

Yuki looks at her with a weird face 'My mother is a narcissist!?' but before he could start to talk she look at him seriously "So who you were talking to?" the reason Anna's question was fueled by the thought that her son was helped in his awaking by someone that trying to take advantage of him as waking ability was no easy mate and the only people who are known to have such abilities count on one hand.

yuuki look troubled for a second before scratching his head "I wasn't talking to anyone"

she looked confused but he continued "After I woke up that night, I notice some changes, first I got this..... chance? to wake some power but to do that I have to go through some pain" scratching his head again "and honestly I underestimate the level of pain, I should have prepared before doing that "

Anna nodded and pat his head "Good that you know, and what kind of power you got?" Yuuki look at her and nodded "I got something called mist and..." Yuuki explains how the mist instinct work and leaves the part of the system away as he never intended to tell anyone about his reincarnation, but since his mother heard his talk he intends to t her the scan part, that is all.

on the other hand, Anna starts to get this complex feeling, she should be happy that her son goes out-off chart ability, or get worried about him getting kidnaped, to steel on the last one.

after the explanation, Yuuki look at his mother and he was waiting what she will say, and what he got is a nod "Don't tell anyone you really don't trust"

Yuuki looks at her in surprise thinking 'That's it?'

as if reading his mind she laughs "What? though I will tell you don't use it in public or something?" Yuuki nodded in confusion "At least tough you will say something like 'don't use it in public, or hide the true use of your power?"

she laugh at that "The fact you think like that means you have quite the understanding about what it can do, as expected from my son!" Then she continued saying in a natural but prideful tone " And you're an Alexander, people should hide from you not the other way around"

all Yuuki could do was open and close his mouth in surprise befour he started to laugh, but stopped short by his mother's next word "So can I know what you know about me, to say those words?"

Yuuki tried to play innocent kid-style "What words?" Anna looked at him for a while then nodded after petting him "Cute and all, but start to talk and if you don't remember, it was something like ' my mother is the dopest and coolest mother in the universe, so as her son, I have to be like her or something"

he gives him a look saying 'not even close' but sighed "Well, worthy the try" Anna laugh at that "was a good one, I give you that."

Yuki looks at her seriously "This the second change or ability? As I have it the moment I woke. It's something like scan, it allows me to get information about things around, and the information can be very, VERY specific, I could say everything in some cases"

he stops talking for a second to let his mother adapt as she becomes tense.

he sighed seeing this and remembering what he read in history thinking 'Anyone will be tense to be told that someone knows everything about you, especially with her past '

but what he didn't know is that she was tense because the said person is her son, as she gives sh*** about anyone else opinion of her, and with the past slaughter of the Akai family, her anxiety starts to rise in her mind.
