Imprisoned by the CEO

“You will have to marry me and bear me a child.”  “What the fuck?!” Logic flew out of the window when Grace heard him say that. “Excuse me, what did you just say?”  Maybe, she was the one who had heard him wrong. It could have been anything except marrying him and giving him a child.  “You heard me,” Christian tsked, “but I’ll repeat it. Marry me and have my child.”  Her mouth opened and gaped at me. In her mind, she was trying to make sense about what was going on. How in the world had it come to be? What in the world could make the situation come to this?!  “No?” Grace replied, but then realized that the word was not firm enough. “No.” she said again. Christian frowned, and it seemed so innocent like he had not asked her the most unbelievable thing. “Why not? I thought you wanted to help me. You offered.”  “I offered my help, my brain, my support not my,” she hesitated, “stomach!”  What was the word for it? “Womb,” he provided.  “Yes!” She slapped her hand on the table. “You don’t get my womb!”   “I don’t?” He challenged.  “No!”  “What if helping me out means Lorelai coming out of a coma?”  Grace felt her heart drop. “What?”  Christian nodded. “What if helping me out, agreeing to what you have to do for me, means bringing your grandmother out of the, that she is in?”  ******** Grace  was one strong girl and with the people she put her trust in, that was only a small number, she knew she could conquer the world, or at least she thought to herself.  When her best friend proposed a deal that could change their lives, she made a decision that was going to be mutually beneficial to both of them.  But one renovation led to many and everything has been just a game, a manipulation from him. Everything was full of deceit, lies, planning and plotting against her. Every single thing, right down the fact that only he had been her friend…  Everything was a lie and she had been living it, willingly.  Tropes; Friends to lovers, office romance, best friends, frenemies, marriage of convenience, possessive villainous and morally gray heroes!

The club’s VIP - I

<p>One of the many things that she had not missed since college, were parties. Especially the wild kind that her friends were involved in. <br/>Her staple thing to do whenever she was in one of them was to pick up a corner from where she could keep an eye on everyone and have something to drink that had the least amount of alcohol in it.<br/>God forbid if she tried to order something to eat, everything was ridiculously expensive and nothing was below triple digits. <br/>Perks of living in New York and sitting and standing with the children of millionaires and billionaires.<br/>"This is going to be so much fun," Mia squealed from the driver's seat, "it's been so long!" <br/>Grace chuckled. For sure, it had been so long since they all had been together. Three years was certainly a long time to just stay in touch just via text and messages. <br/>That realization dampened her mood. Everyone had been out doing masters in all different business courses to take over their parent's businesses or the certain branch that they were going to be assigned. <br/>Grace was supposed to do the same with her bakery, expand it to different directions but instead she had settled with a 9-to-5 job. The only bearable part about it, she made good money. <br/>Mia stopped in front of a club and the valets there opened their doors before taking into the driver seat and taking the car to parking.<br/>"Come," Mia grabbed her hand and the bouncer let them through. <br/>"Guys!" She screamed over the loud music and even though the music was loud enough to muffle her voice, Grace being beside her winced and how loud it was.<br/>The moment they reached the group, it was shouts and hugs of welcome with an overwhelming overflow Of memories that they had built together in the span of 3 to 4 years. All of them rushed back and hugs flowed from almost everywhere. <br/>"Alright, alright, drinks!" Marcus; Marco clapped his hands, "Tell me your orders." <br/>Orders were quickly piled up and when Marco turned to Grace and spread over his lips, "coke and A shot of Rum, yes?" <br/>Grace giggled, "you remember! Yes!" <br/>Marco winked before making his way over to the bar. He must have slipped a little much more than required because he was not at all carrying the drinks, rather a waitress followed him with her hands holding a tray. <br/>Classic millionaire kid. <br/>Most of them had ordered shorts and the moment her friends got back two of them at least, they were in the mood to dance and Grace realised this was the time to make herself scarce.<br/>She slowly slipped away, inching away from the entrance and towards the corner.<br/>When Mia caught her eyes, she smiled knowingly. After all, she had been doing it for years. <br/>The dance floor was in the middle of the club and Grace knew where to go. <br/>She aimed for the spot near the dance floor, from where they could keep an eye out on them but also be away at the same time.<br/>Mostly in the corner when the tables for couples where she was show me that did something more than just making out. Never mind that, at the moment she just had to get away and enjoy a drink to herself. <br/>The drink spilled in her hand by the time she reached the corner only to find it occupied by several people and not one of them were looking at each other. <br/>They were on each other, to say the least. <br/>Crap, she looked away from the prono happening in front of her. Her eyes moved around to find a seating area when she finally spotted couches on the floor above them. <br/>Automatically, with renewed enthusiasm, she moved to the Store case and climbed up only to be stopped by a bouncer. He looked quite bulky and if he told her to go, Grace would not argue. Those muscles did not look attractive, rather dangerous to be dealt with. <br/>"Ma'am, I need you—" he started to speak but then his fingers joined together, moved to the ear piece and he leaned his head to the side before nodding and stepping aside. "Ma'am, you are free to occupy the third couch from the front." <br/>Third couch from the front? Grace observed that the others were occupied on the front line but the third one was overlooking the dance floor directly. She did not have the mind to watch bodies grinding against each other from upstairs. <br/>"Are the others on the back not available?" Her voice was slightly hesitant, yet loud so that he could hear her over the music. <br/>"No," came the reply from the bulky bouncer, " that is the VIP area and you cannot enter that without permission or membership." <br/>She nodded, taking the answer as it was given to her and went past the bouncer with a drink in her hand before settling on the third couch.<br/>Now, she could enjoy the night. </p>
