Chapter 8

GABRIELA

I don't know where Marcos was getting at with, I love Alex, because it doesn't make any sense, I hate him, and precisely not a little. The point is, it put me in a bad mood, worse than I already was by myself. For his luck and health, he had left me alone, but something in his eyes told me it wasn't going to be the last time he brought up the subject and he was going to do something, I don't know what.

I don't really know how long I was walking, but when I managed to calm down from everything, I went to college to go to class. The classes passed slowly, but they were without him, so I took them better than if it had been otherwise. When it was time to leave, I left college and waited outside, because I had to wait for Marcos and my brothers. When you're there, they come to me and greet me, but it must be because of my face and that's why they decide it's better not to talk to me too much, but when Marcos arrives, he stands next to me and we start walking. My siblings couldn't hear anything we were talking about.

"Gabriela, don't stay angry because of what I told you, come on. I didn't mean to make you angry." he said and I rolled my eyes, because even though I knew what he was saying was true, he was also more than clear it was going to bother me "I don't know what you expected as a reactionary, you know very well I hate him."

"I know, I know. I really get it, but that doesn't mean I don't believe it." he insisted "I don't care what you believe or not, I know what I feel for him and it's nothing like what you said." I stated "I understand, and I won't bring it up again."

"You better, because then I will kill you for real." I said with a small smile on my face "We should see that, I don't think you'll be able to do it." he countered, returning my smile "Of course I would be, don't think because you're my best friend you'd get rid of something like that."

"I hope not" he said "That we will never know." I replied, because I could never get so angry with him "If I say it again, we will surely find out." he said laughing. It didn't take us long to get to the car and we didn't speak again the rest of the way, at least not for me because Marcos was talking to my siblings.

When I got home, I went to my room and stayed there until it was time for dinner. It didn't take too long to go back to my room, but I didn't want them to see me angry, they were already worried about what might be happening to me. The next day we arrived a little late because Marcos was a bit late, which was normal for Marcos. Today was going to be a long day, before having the break I had a technical eye class and that meant I was going to meet him. I didn't want to see him or anything, much less for him to dare to speak to me, because then it would be worse than yesterday, I wouldn't only hit him, but I would beat him, if necessary, which for me it was.

When it came to going to the technical drawing class, I was slower, I didn't even want to go and I was seriously considering whether or not to go, but I decided that it was better to go, I was not going to stop going to those classes just because he was there, no I was going to let him, he had already taken too many things from me.

When I was in class, I noticed how there was someone who was looking at me, and I don't know why, I knew very well who it was, something that seemed most strange to me. The point is that when we were going to leave class, I quickly packed everything so as not to have to run into him, but while I was leaving class, I heard him calling me, but I ignored him. As we leave campus, he grabs my arm and turns me around.

"Are you really not going to say anything about yesterday?" Alex asked. "I really don't have anything to talk to you about and now if you'll excuse me, I have more things to do." I got him to let go of my arm and left. He didn't follow me and if he had, I would surely have hit him again.
