CH 6- Progress

Children in groups were making their way to the stage.

Everything went as planned: Ask and Embla gave everyone their names.

Frank retained his old name. He wasn't sure if that was a coincidence or simply the fate of this body, but he didn't dwell on it.

He met with all of the kids there in the evening. Some of them began to play, while others shown intellect despite their age.

This world's cultivators might begin walking in one month and communicating in three. They were gifted with intellect from the minute they were born.

Of course, Frank obtained this information through his parents' memories. But he assumed it was a gift for this world's earliest descendants.

Days passed, and system missions were fulfilled. Frank's cultivation began to rise quickly as he cultivated his Death Kaiser Path, and now he is already 8 years old.

While others were playing around, and asking their grandparents about how cultivation was, and dreaming about their future paths; Frank was already way beyond them.

The early stage of the First Step of his Kaiser Path gave him power comparable to that of a Skeppare (Rank 3 cultivator).

To advance in this step, he had to cultivate all of his energies at once in sequence to temper the Svhadhisthana.

And, because he would occasionally—once or twice a month or so—have a special mission that would bring him a pill invaluable to his cultivation, everything went exceptionally well.

He was now one step away from reaching the Second Step. To genuinely be at the Second Step, he required law(s) seed(s) to grow in his Svadhisthana. According to this universe, his present power was that of a peak stage Himthiki (Rank 4 cultivator.)

And because his power system was not one that this universe recognized, he could easily cultivate to the Sacred Immortal Venerable Realm and stay with his parents in this mortal world. But would he, a former battle maniac, choose that path? Of course, he wouldn't.

His cultivation stagnated at the moment due to the environment he was in, and the lack of laws in this world. And it wasn't like this world had any stable ones that he could grasp.

Sky Worlds and below were only designed to support cultivators who were either born there or decided to avoid the chaos that wreaks out of the cultivation world.

That was why the Sky Worlds could only bear the might of a Rank 3 cultivator. They were just not designed for extended, taxing combat.

So, if Frank wished to cultivate to Rank 5, he had to either advance to the Cosmos' Worlds or be given an unique opportunity by the system.

He would of course wait for the latter, as the former was impossible to happen; since the ascension door wouldn't open to the Cosmos' Worlds in at least a hundred years.

Nothing eventful happened during this period, as the kids of Embla's descendants were enthusiastic in surpassing the other ones to bring honor to their homes.

They would thus go to their grandparents every day and ask them what cultivation was, its wonders, and what they might achieve by it. And the latter two did an excellent job at keeping their enthusiasm, it even increasing it.

As for Frank, he didn't go to them to ask about cultivation. But he asked about the world and its origins.

The two were surprised, but not by much as there were some children who asked this.

Frank didn't dare do such a thing initially, in fear the being who controlled the two would realize something amiss from him. But only after a period of time did he come and ask them.

Although the information he managed to get was small, it was rather helpful.

Frank was interested in such a thing, as that meant that what he wanted was slowly being led into by the system...

He checked the mission, and it was as follows:

[Mission Name : Prevent the Universal Will from finding about the system's existence.]

[Mission Info : As originally envisioned, Roland would produce the Vage Geistig Energy and level up the system by using the Universal Will against him, sending just enough experts against him to push his potential to the limit.

However, because Frank, the new Host, does not want such clichés to occur, a new mission has been requested to eliminate the aftereffects of the system's early arrival. It would take form of a chain mission.]

[Mission Reward(After all chain missions are completed) : 24 Hours of seclusion in the Life Universe.]

'So, after all of my manipulations, the system finally issued this? Let's focus on the aftermath, now...' Frank gazed at the screen in front of him, trying to come up with a proper justification for the system's Lord not to be suspicious...
