Robert hands begins to tremble in fear as he calls her but she doesn't picks up and couldn't know what will befall his mum, his expression was filled with fear as he looked at his phone in his trembling hands.

"No? I should not be afraid before l was helpless and didn't have the strength to save anyone but now l have reason and the strength to save those l love no matter what"

He clenches his fist as he wasn't a weakling anyone , he was now capable of going against all odds no matter the price.

*Shoosh*

a mask appears from his spartial ring and he puts it on and a purple energy envelopes his body.

A black hooded cloak appears on him as the mask conceals his face ,

"That's more like it my disciple , going against all odds for those you cherish , you have a reason and will to protect them so make sure you don't go astray"

Lin zhong tells Robert while stroking his beard

"Don't worry master l won't go astray nor let you down , for you had given a great opportunity to go against fate"

Robert speaks and walks to his window

"Hm..What a sensible child with a profound understanding , well am going back to have my rest"

Lin zhong enters back into the crystal symbol on his wrist.

Robert jumps from window out of house and compound .

"Mum am coming for you"

He lands softly on ground and he takes a stance ready to run like a athletic runner.

Lighting Begins to sizzle around his body, his feet crushed the ground and

He takes off at full speed as his body was accompanied by a tail of lightning as he ran through the streets.

His speed was incredibly fast as he ran through the Streets of high city , no one could catch a glimpse of him as he ran at the speed of lightning.

A tail of dust follows him as he runs and this shocks the passing motorist's and pedestrians, what was on Robert's mind his mum and nothing else.

meanwhile the military were already battling the huge mutant creature , they were hovering military aircrafts in the air firing lasers and bullets at the creature.

Even the ground soliders wearing battle mech suits were firing their laser guns at the creature but to no avail it wasn't damaging the creature.

"Arm the plasma cannon now" a general orders as they were aboard the hovering aircrafts in the air

"Copy that sir, charging plasma cannon" the firing arm solider affirms and a system responds.

"Plasma cannon charging up , 10%..15%, 20%..30% ..60%..85%..95%..100%, Cannons fully charged"

"Fire" the man press a button and a plasma cannon on top the aircraft begins to charge up with a bright red crimson energy

*Whoosh*

The red crimson energy shoots like a beam towards the mutant creature.

*KABOOOOM*

A large explosion epruts and the surrounding buildings windows and glasses shatters into pieces from the shockwave of the blast.

a huge dust cloud raises up into the air and covered the area making anybody on the ground unable to see.

Robert who was still running heard the loud explosion , as he looked up ahead he could see a mushroom shaped dust cloud in the air.

Meanwhile Pyke was driving a cyclone helicopter which had two rotary blades.

"Is the creature dead?"

Pyke fixed his gaze on the dust cloud surrounding the area as he couldn't see anything through the thick dust.

His eyes were full of uncertainty and skepticism

*Rarrrrrr*

A growl is heard from within the dust cloud and everyone was in shock.

"What? It's not dead yet" the general who ordered the plasma cannon to be fired was in utter disbelief

Pyke couldn't believe his eyes as the creature was still alive and it could take such a hit.

"I thought when these mysterious creature's appeared two centuries ago , our weapons were very effective against them thus defeating them and putting an end to them. But now one appeared out of nowhere and our weapons can't damage it"

Pyke was lost in thought . Yanran and mengmeng were still trapped in the building which could topple over any moment.

" I have to be faster" Robert's voice was full of determination as he wants to get to his mum as fast as possible.

As he got closer to palm whirl district , the area and roads was already sealed off by the military.

"Guess l have to take to the building tops" Robert immediately stops in his tracks and shifts his glance to a tall building.

"Divine jump" Robert body radiates a golden swirl of energy and

He Immediately jumps with tremendous force it was as if his legs were like springs that enabled him to jump so forcefully.

He lands on the building and he begins to jump from building tops to another.

"Yo you guys should take a look at this, some insane human is jumping from building roofs to another"

A voice echoed on the radio of Pyke's cyclone V10 helicopter.

Pyke in hearing this had a faint smile on his face as he knew who it was .

"So that kid has finally come"

Robert was dashing and sprinting from building to building until he came to an abrupt stop.

"Huff..huff.. running like that is a bit exhausting, but mum's workplace is up ahead just a few more runs"

Suddenly he hears a loud roar and he immediately starts running picking up his pace faster.

Robert jumped unto a building and the creature Pyke had showed him finally comes in view.

His eyes were full of suprise and shock although he wore a mask his eyes could be seen.

Bullets and lasers rained down on the creature making it more aggressive and ferocious.

The creature used it's claws to destroy the military vehicles on land and hurling them into the air. The vehicles collided with hovering aircrafts causing explosions.

Robert looked at the scene in front him as the military used their might and strength upon the creature.

But still it wasn't bringing the creature down , the creature eyes were now filled with boiling anger. It opened it's mouth and released a beam of dark energy from it's mouth.

*Swoosh*

*Boom*boom*boom*

The creature uses the dark energy beam from it's mouth to cause destruction as it destroyed multiple aircrafts and vehicles , even Killing numerous soliders.

The area were the military fought was in ruins,Pyke luckily evades the dark beam with his cyclone V10 helicopter.

" I don't have time to fight against this creature , l have to find my mother first" Robert said to himself as saving his mum was the top priority now , he didn't give a damn about anything else.

He begins to head for his mother's workplace as the building comes into sight he couldn't believe his eyes. The building was already damaged and he could see a large hole in the building which was momentarily shaking.

"cou.. could mum still be in there" Robert heart was racing with fear , as he wondered if his mum was still in the building that was badly damaged.

He was lost in his thoughts when suddenly two men appeared before in front of him before he could reach the building.

"What? Were did they come from" Robert was stunned for a moment.

" Hah you finally show your self" the two men said at the time .

"Tiger fist" They both threw their fists at him together .

Bam!

The force of the punch sent Robert backwards towards a building top but he swiftly lands on his feet .

"He was able to take our hit without dying and blocked it with his hands still intact"

"He's an outstanding individual but l wonder if he can take another hit from us"

The two men said as a grim smile appeared on their faces.

"Robert be careful l feel a strange energy from them similar to spiritual Ql" Lin zhong warns him

"I Know master , l felt have this energy before" Robert said as he looked at the two men with an annoying expression in his eyes.

"I have felt this energy from ling'er when l had a spar with her earlier today" Robert remembered and this was unexplainable and surprising to him.

He even felt the same the energy from some members in the martial arts club in school too, things were becoming complex.

"Are they also cultivators?" He thought as the skill they used just now was infused with energy but he couldn't comprehend it at all, what is really going on.
