Mu continent, one of the two continents in Mortal realm, which also has lowest qi density compare to other realms.

unlike the Tai Yang continent which that only have 2 seasons, Mu continent has four which is spring ,summer, falls, and winter

and the winter season is the most harshest of them all, because strange groups monsters that came from the abyss ,starts to emerge from *who knows where* and terrorise the whole Mu continent and its inhabitants.

to prevent people from dying, every ancient emperors of the Mu continent build huge wall to cover there whole empire.

the strength of this monsters will be in minimum of silver rank cultivator, while the strongest that was recorded in the history of Mu content is legend rank.

so strong people's from clans, and knights of empires is needed to killing strong threats, that migth suddenly attack , out of no where.

5 months has passed since Li jie learned to circulate the Qi in his body. he's life in Yi clan is uneventful, all he did was cultivate in the nigth, help some people in some ligth task, and play with Xu Lin.

but during this 5 months he successfully broke thru Qi absorption 2, he cound now circulate Qi in every part of his body.

he also learned that Xiu Lin, a fragile looking flower, is a monster in disguise, she was already in Qi absorption 9, even though she's only 9 years old,

15 days before winter season Mr Sun Shin, planned to return to Tak Wai empire to spend his time in Yi clan main branch before the monsters shows up.

the reason he wanted to go back is because when winter falls, all business will come to an halt, and he didn't wish to stay in Qiu Empire for 3 months without anything to do, so he decided to close the Yi clan Market, and only open it after the winter season has passed .

"wake up!" someone yell rang out to Li Jie's ear,

"Li Jie" a sweet voice of a girl rang out again to Li jie that was still sleeping in his bed,

"Big Brother Lie Jie!" Li Jie was too sleepy to care. so decided to ignore it.

"wake up!!!"

but then, a sudden pain to his abdomen, awaken the very soul of his being,

"aaaaarggg!!!" Li Jie screamed in pain. opening his eyes wide, he saw Xiu Lin sitting above his stomach smiling smugly.

"ahhh, god...damn...you!" Li Jie said while grunting in pain.

"hurr, hurr, hurr. that's what you get from not waking up early" Xiu Lin said while still sitting in Li Jie's stomach.

feeling a little triggered Li jie tried pulling her cheeks. but failed, because Xiu Lin immediately jump out of the away.

"hmmp, I'll get you, next time" Li jie said

"dream on! ,hahaha" Xiu Lin bantered

Looking at the window Li Jie concluded that is was early in the morning."so Miss... Xiu... Lin, this time, please tell me...that you have a good reason for *forcefully* waking me up" Li Jie asked as he stared at her lazily.

Xiu Lin had developed a hobby of painfully waking Li Jie up in the morning, if she was given a chance to do so.

"ummm, of course i did, aren't we travelling to Tak Wai empire" Xiu Lin said in a matter of factly.

"which is at least 4 hours from now, very excited are you?" Li Jie said while stretching his sore body

"yes, i can finally see my friends again!"Xiu Lin answered.

standing up from bed Li jie walked toward the kitchen "Xu Lin, did you eat breakfast already" he asked.

"I'm waiting for you" Xiu Lin answered while sitting on the dining table.

hearing her answer Li Jie steamed some rice, before going to the bathroom for a cold bath. after changing he's clothes, he return to the kitchen, to chop some spices,

taking a big wok ,he saute some onion and garlic in oil, before adding the freshly steamed rice and stiring it in high fire,

after the fried rice is almost ready, he crack a egg that is 8 times bigger than a chickens egg, before putting it to his fried rice, he also added salt and spice before stirring it some more. and serving it to separate plates.

the glittering golden color of the egg and rice, looks very appetizing, and the aroma of freshly cooked rice and egg looks inviting. this is one of the dish that Li Jie was proud of, and he called it *ricegg* or how you pronounced that word.

"your cooking always makes my effort of waking you up every morning worth it. "Xiu Ling said before digging in.

"Dont worry, i will do my best to offer you more delicious food.....so that in the future, you'll be soo fat, you will regret waking me up every day to cook for you" Li Jie said.

Xiu Lin swallowed a mouthful of fried rice before saying "yum...the taste of this food told me that i will not regret a thing!" Xiu Lin said before she continued to eat happily.

the preparation is now complete, the Yi Clan people has already strapped there things to carriages , that will be pulled by a tamed demonic beast, mostly consists by Iron bulls, and horned horses.

and carriage mostly contained Yi clan's main branch food supplies , for the winter to come.

Sun Shin and other Yi clan member will return to Tak Wai empire, while the other stays to guard the market.

the travel speed will be in walking speed, to avoid accident and to not tire out the beast that will pulls the carriage.

Li Jie didn't want to follow at first, but Xiu Lin pleaded him to follow them to Tak Wai empire, being unable to say no, he agreed to come.

Li jie is walking in the forest trail, in the side of the first carriage where Xiu Lin is riding, this will be his first time he'll be leaving the Qiu empire, he felt nervous and excited at the same time, but as usual his emotion is hidden in his deadpan eyes.

"ha ha ha" a hearty laugh rang out in Li Jie's back, turning around he saw Sun Shin, walking near him."Li jie, I thought you will stay in the Qiu Empire".

"Miss Xiu Lin, asked me to go so i decided to tag along" Li Jie answered.

Xiu Lin suddenly popped his cute head in the window of the moving carriage "father, i just don't want big brother Li Jie, to be bored to death, when the winter come's" said towards her father.

Sun shin ignored her "well i can't blame her, she's been too far away from home, and you are the only friend she have here, so I won't be surprise, if she's grown fond of you" he said with a knowing smile.

"....." Xiu Lin.

"yes, even though, she like giving me alot of head ache's, she's still a good friend" Li Jie answered, also ignoring Xiu Lin.

"ahhhhh, you two are trying to bully me!" Xiu Lin yelled angrily

Sun shin suddenly acted surprise, "ahhh , Xiu Lin-er there you are!, im just checking on how your boyfriend is doing"he said with innocent face.

Xiu Lin's face suddenly reddens, as she hurriedly close the carriage window

"father you idiot!!!"she suddenly yelled from the inside of the carriage.

"ha ha ha" the people near them laughs, in Xiu Lin's reaction , after being teased by her father.

"ha ha ha, kids, they grew fast this days....well i will leave you two alone, i need to check some of our cargo's conditions"Sun Shin said before turning around to check other carriage.

"yes" Li jie answered.he was used to the father and daughter pair antic.
