Chapter 35: Damsel in Distress(1)
Klein looked at Luke with shock. Luke just patted his shoulder and spoke in a serious voice.
"Let's talk about it later."
Luke then started to walk into the hallway with Klein who was completely shocked. Luke then heard Nash's voice in his head.
• Hey, what'll you need a giant for? And Woah! We're rich! Five billion! We could buy anything we want with that amount of money!
Luke smiled and went outside the palace. He was about to head back when he heard Finesse's voice behind him.
"Brother!"
Luke turned around and saw Finesse running towards him and Noah following behind her. Finesse reached in front of Luke and asked in a worried voice.
"Brother! Are you okay?"
"Yes? I am totally fine."
Luke then saw Finesse's sad face and heard her gloomy voice.
"I'm sorry, today should be a happy day for all of us. You must be really angry about what happened earlier."
"No, it's okay. I am fine."
"Brother..."
Luke saw Finesse's worried face and heard Noah's voice behind her.
"You always say that you are fine when you are clearly not."
"I'm not lying."
"Tsk, anyways, I already punished Baron Paul for what he did earlier."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Oh, well thanks. Anyways, good luck on your honeymoon! You're going to Welrad Island for your honeymoon, right?"
"Yeah, we will be gone for a month."
"Is that so?"
Luke nodded and then smiled at the two couples.
"Well then, good luck on your honeymoon! I'll go first."
Luke waved at them and entered a carriage with Klein. Finesse waved at him and Luke just smiled at her. The carriage then started to move towards the estate. Luke then heard Klein's nervous voice in front of him.
"Uhm, Luke? What exactly do you mean by a giant?"
"Just as I said it. I want you to build an iron giant."
"Is it for the war? But why?"
"You'll see soon enough. Anyways, I want you to build it. If you need any materials I'll give you the money. Can you do it?"
"I can do it."
Luke nodded at Klein's answer and looked out the window. There will be a need for the iron giant in the future. It will help them win the war more easily.
They then soon arrive at the estate. Luke headed straight to his bedroom and plopped on his bed. Today was a very tiring day.
Luke could feel Nash on top of his stomach. He just brushed Nash's fluffy fur and sighed.

Three days have passed since Noah and Finesse have gone on their honeymoon. All the group members are here except for Klein because he is in his room designing his blueprint for the iron giant. Luke then remembered his conversation earlier with Klein.
"Sir Klein, where are you going?"
"I am going to build the blueprint for the iron giant."
"Really? Shouldn't you eat first?"
"No, my hands are itching to write down ideas for the model and design. I need to write it down immediately."
"Is that so?"
"Yes, and when I'm done, I'll give it for you to check."
"Okay then."
Luke thought that it must be the inventor's instinct to immediately write down ideas so he just let him do what he wants.
Luke continued eating his food casually in the dining hall with his group. It was quiet and peaceful but someone interrupted it.
"Excuse me, young master Luke? Can you please check these documents?"
Luke sighed and read the documents. The documents were from the man who Noah left in charge temporarily for the administration of the mansion.
Luke doesn't know why but the administrator always comes to him whenever he finishes some documents. But Luke can't say no because he is the Viscellete member left In the house so he should work a bit to not look like a burdensome freeloader.
"Hmm, there is something wrong with this part. You didn't include the money we spent yesterday. This is good, but you forgot to add the expenses on this part."
Luke then pass the document to the administrator and the administrator bowed deeply.
"I understand! I'll fix the mistakes! Thank you for pointing it out for me!"
"Uh, sure?"
The administrator then smiled and walked out of the dining hall looking happy. Luke frowned and then saw the stares of his group.
"What?"
Spencer then asked in an amazed voice.
"I never knew that you'll be so good at managing an estate."
"....It's the administrator you should praise, not me."
Selena then butted in.
"But you are the one correcting his mistakes right? That alone is amazing."
"No, it's not."
Lina then spoke with steak stuffed in her mouth.
"How fumble (humble)"
Luke frowned and sighed. He then heard Nash's voice.
• Hey, if we ever get our own house, will you be the one who'll manage it?
"I guess?"
• Then I'll help you! I am very smart!
"Sure."
The dining table becomes quiet again but it was soon interrupted again when a maid came rushing in. She sounded so urgent.
"Young master Luke! It's an emergency!"
"What is it? Is something wrong?"
"I-it's the duke!"
Luke stood up from his seat and saw the maid holding a magic device with shaking hands. It looks just like the device that Lance gave him days ago. Luke's face turned serious. It has red light shining on it, he doesn't know much about the device yet but he can tell that it means it's an emergency call.
"Give me that."
The maid put the magic device on the center of the table and immediately left. Luke then called out to Spencer.
"Spencer, connect the call."
"Got it."
The call immediately connected and a holographic screen appeared on top of the device and Noah's stiff face appeared on the screen.
"Brother? What is wrong? Did something happened?"
Luke asked in a calm voice. He then heard Noah's shaking voice.
•F-finesse.
Luke's eyebrows twitched. He suddenly had a bad feeling.
"Finesse? What about her?"
Luke looked at Noah nervously. Is the situation that urgent for Noah to make a face like that?
•Finesse... Was kidnapped.
Luke frowned and tries to process what Noah just said. He then heard the children's worried voices beside him.
"Oh no! Sister Finesse!"
"We need to save her!"
"She is pregnant!"
"The baby might be put in danger!"
• Is she okay?! We need to go there immediately!
Noah's face stiffened up even more at the worried cries of the children. Luke clicked his tongue.
'Fuck, I totally forgot why this novel was so unpopular. It's because of its fucking clichés.'
"Damn it!"
Luke gritted his teeth and asked Noah.
"How?"
Noah slowly answered.
"We are at the beach earlier and I was about to go get water at the cabin because Finesse said she was tired and thirsty and when I came back, she was gone."
Luke saw Noah's guilty and dark face. Luke sighed to calm himself down and spoke calmly.
"We'll come there immediately. Guys, let's go."
