"Can I have some of those biscuits over there, Uncle?" "

"Of course, you can take whatever you want."

"Thank you very much!"

"There's no need to thank me. Just eat until you're full."

"Y-your highness shall we move to the kitchen? Almost bringing the entire table here is..."

"Can't you see the kids don't want to leave? Do you want them to go hungry? "

"No, but this is the room where Commander Luke is resting..."

"Don't worry; I'm keeping an eye on him as well as the kids."

Luke frowned as he overheard the butler and Lance beside him conversing. He had regained consciousness and could hear their conversation; he should have opened his eyes by now, but he chose to remain silent and listen to their conversation a little longer.

"Leave us alone for the time being; we'll call you when we need you."

"As you wish, your highness."

Luke could hear footsteps getting further away and the door closing with a click. He then could hear munching sounds next to him a few seconds later.

'...Did they really bring the entire table into my room? Are you kidding me?'

Luke sighed loudly and opened his eyes, drawing the prince and two children in the room's attention. When Luke turned around, he noticed Nash, Snow, and Lance staring at him from behind a rounded table filled with snacks and sweets beside his bed. Lance then sighed and looked at him.

"Look, kids, he's awake now."

"Dad!"

"Dad, are you all right?"

"Yes, I'm fine now."

Luke sat up in bed and looked at the children. Nash is sitting on Lance's lap in his child human form, holding a bar of bite-marked chocolate, while Snow is sitting in her own chair, holding a cup of tea. Luke was taken aback by this.

"...Did you guys have a picnic here in this room while I was unconscious?"

Lance responded while filling his teacup.

"You can't really blame them. Nash and Snow remained here while they waited for you to awaken. They won't leave unless I tell them to eat for a while, so I thought I'd join them here to keep them company."

"Really? Well, it appears that you're having a good time bonding with them."

Lance sipped his tea and smiled as he patted Nash's head, who was resting cutely on his lap.

"Of course, being with these kids is a great stress reliever. You, on the other hand, only bring me headaches when you're with me."

Lance ignored Luke's frown and continued sipping his tea, while Nash and Snow jumped from their seats and dashed towards Luke, hugging him immediately.

"You are finally awake!"

"We were so worried!"

Luke patted their heads and examined their health. They appear to have become even plumper and more energetic as a result of Lance's care. Luke then took a closer look at what they were wearing.

"Wait, you brought them clothes?"

Lance nodded, a proud smile on his face as he looked at the children.

"I had Paulina make them some custom-made outfits."

"Aren't Paulina's clothes quite... Pricey? How many did you purchase?"

Instead of Lance responding, Nash responded with a bright smile on his face.

"He brought us each a whole case of clothes!" "

Snow nodded.

"The clothes are beautiful, and they arrived in a lovely large case!"

Luke was speechless as he looked at Lance, who was simply smiling and resting his chin on his hand.

"How come you're surprised? Those amount of dresses were nothing. If they didn't stop me, I could buy them three more cases each."

"How much did you pay for them...?"

"Around 60 million, including the foods they wanted to buy."

Luke blinked several times as he tried to process the amount of money he had just said. He can't believe Lance spent that much money on the kids in less than a month; it's ridiculous.

Lance raised his eyebrows a Luke.

"Well, that because they are cute and adorable children. Are you cute? "

Lance's words made Luke frown deeply. He felt offended, so he then decided to retort.

"If you like kids so much, why don't you make your own?"

Lance was flabbergasted while looking at Luke's annoyed face looking at him. Lance then made a face as if he were being forced to eat garbage.

"I dislike children."

"Your highness, you are confusing."

"No, I'm not. Except for Nash and Snow, I don't like children at all."

Nash and Snow turned to face Lance, their faces beaming and gleefully smiling.

"Really? You don't like any other kids besides us?"

"Does that mean we are special to you?"

Lance looked at the children's questioning looks in front of him and smiled brightly. He appears to be overjoyed that he has the children's attention.

"Of course, yes! I don't like anyone else besides you two!"

The children's eyes twinkled and they turned to look at Luke, who had this extremely confused and cringed expression painted on his face.

"Dad, did you hear that?"

"Uncle told us he likes us!"

"...I heard it loud and clear."

Luke simply sighed and scratched his head. His face then turned serious and looked at Lance straight in the eyes.

"What happened after I fainted, Your Highness?"

Lance massaged his head while closing his eyes. He then opened and closed his mouth several times, as if trying to say something, but no words came out. Luke frowned as he observed this.

"Did something serious happen?"

"...No, not at all. It's just... How should I put this, the situation became weird a few days after you fainted."

"Weird?"

"Haaa."

Lance frowned as he messed up his hair and looked at Luke.

"Would you like to see it for yourself?"

Lance's stressed face drew an uneasy stare from Luke. He had the feeling that something bad was going to happen. He is now uncertain whether to say yes or no.

"...Yes."

Lance nodded and walked over to Luke's bedroom's closed curtains. He then motioned Luke to approach him and Luke gulped as he slowly walked towards him. Lance then slightly opened the curtain for Luke, and Luke peered through the gaps Lance had made in the curtains.

Luke's eyes shook and he felt like his heart stopped beating for a few seconds. He looked out the window, terrified at the scenery. He was so surprised and terrified that he took a step back from the curtains.

[Commander! Get better soon!]

[Please, our hero, get well soon!]

[Mighty commander who commanded the trees' will!]

Luke's eyes shook and he pointed to the curtains while shaking. Lance sighed as he looked at Luke's terrified expression. He was well aware that this would occur.

"Y-your highness, why are they camping in front of the palace?"

"What else? They are patiently waiting for you to awaken."

Luke gave Lance a constipated look and looked at him as if he was pleading for something. Lance was staring at this with a blank expression.

"Look, I tried everything I could to get them to leave the palace, but they were stubborn and ended up camping there."

Luke wiped his face with his palm. He then flinched at Lance's next words.

"Come with me, that isn't the only strange thing going on here."

"There's more? Are you kidding me?"

"Just come with me you walking disaster."

Luke sighed and followed behind Lance lifelessly. When he looked down, he saw Nash and Snow smiling brightly at him, each holding one of his hands.

"Dad, Jay, and Uncle Liam really worked hard while you were unconscious."

"Yeah! They worked extremely hard to make things better for you once you wake up! "

Luke looked baffled. He understands if they say Liam worked hard, but Jay? What stupid things did he do this time? And what's worse, he is working with Liam?

While walking behind Lance with the kids, Luke began to feel uneasy. He was so deep in his thoughts that he didn't even notice that they arrived in front of the gate of the dungeon. When he saw this, he turned his head to face Lance, who was staring at the gate.

"The dungeon? What are we doing here? "

"This is where the werewolves were being kept."
