The Next Morning,

In Annabelle's Bedroom.

Annabelle and David are sleeping next to each other with David's arms around her.

David: When did you start loving me?.

Annabelle: When I saw you worrying about me at the Hospital. (Smiles) You looked so cute back then. What about you?, when did you start loving me?.

David: I don't know when, but there's one thing I'm sure about. I want to spend the rest of my life with you.

Annabelle: If this is a dream, I never want to wake up.

David: (Gently kisses her on her forehead) I hope we can tell each other everything. I never want to keep anything away from you (Annabelle is silent and David kisses her on the forehead again).

At Annabelle's Job Side

David and Annabelle arrive in his car.

David: (Unbuckles her seatbelt) Call me when you're done and I'll come get you.

Annabelle: (Smiles) Okay (walks out of the car and waves at David who later drives away).

At Geoffrey's and Jenifer's Apartment,

In Geoffrey's and Jenifer's Bedroom.

Harry has just left his room and is heading downstairs when he overhears Geoffrey and Jenifer talking in their room next to his.

Jenifer: Until when are we going to tell him about the situation at hand?.

Geoffrey: We just need to find the right time to talk to him.

Jenifer: And when is the right time?.

Geoffrey: He isn't completely healed yet.

Jenifer: How can you let him be with a girl whom we both practically know is his half sister?. You know her father got married to his mother. This is incest, I can't take this anymore.

Geoffrey: (In a loud voice) Quiet woman!. I'm trying to think (they hear a noise from outside. As they rush to open the door, they see Harry standing outside in shock with his crutches on the floor).

Jenifer: (Tries to hold him, but he pushes her away) Harry!.

Harry: (With a shocking and pale expression) Did you just say sister?.

Geoffrey: Son, we can explain (tries to go to him but Harry moves back).

Harry: I have another mother?. (Jenifer suddenly breaks down in tears) My real mother got married to Annabelle's father, so Annabelle is my sister!. (Suddenly in denial) It's not true. This doesn't make sense, It's not true. You're wrong (Diana quickly rushes to Harry after hearing their loud voices, but he pushes her away in anger. In a loud voice) It's not true.

Diana: (Suddenly screams) It's true!. Annabelle is your half sister.

Geoffrey: Shut up Diana.

Diana: Why?. Someone had to tell him the truth sooner or later that mom isn't really his real mother. (To Harry) She came to visit you while you were in coma. It's true Annabelle's father abandoned his family for your real mother. As long as they're married, Annabelle still remains your step sister.

Jenifer: (Rushes to Diana's position and slaps her) Stop it!. (Harry hurries downstairs in disbelief even when he stumbles and falls, he still struggles to stand on his feet. Annabelle suddenly knocks and walks in after noticing the door isn't locked).

Annabelle: (Surprised after seeing Harry's facial expression isn't as happy as he used to be) Harry?. What is it?.

Harry: Did you also know?.

Annabelle: Know what?.

Harry: Is that why you pretended to help me?, is that why you never told me you loved me even when we finally saw each other after 4 years?.

Annabelle: (Suddenly realizes he knows the truth. Tries to walk closer to him but he stops her) Harry..

Harry: Stay back!. Don't come any closer. (Notices the ring on her finger) So, you're married!.

Annabelle: (Lips mumbling, starts to tear up) Harry..

Harry: (In a loud voice) Are you married?.

Annabelle: I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.

Harry: You all lied to me. You lied to me. I was just a fool who knew nothing about what was happening. You all lied to me.

Annabelle: Harry please. Just listen to me..

Harry: Get out!.

Annabelle: Harry please.

Harry: Just go. I can't bear to look at you. I feel disgusted. Go!.

Annabelle: (Falls to her knees) Harry....!!!

Harry: (In a loud voice) Get out!.

Diana: (Runs downstairs and helps Annabelle to her feet. Geoffrey and Jenifer arrive the scene as well) Anna.

Annabelle: (To Harry) I'm sorry (slowly walks out the door. Harry screams in anger and goes back to his room upstairs, hitting and damaging everything possible. He turns to look at the bouquet of rose flowers he had bought for Annabelle on his desk).

Jenifer: (Knocking constantly on his door) Harry!. Harry please come out. Don't lock yourself in, you're going to hurt yourself. Harry!!.

At The Park

Annabelle arrives at the park and decides to sit for a while.

Annabelle: I never meant for any of this to happen (breaks down in tears). I never meant for any of this to happen. (Refers to Harry) I just wanted to see you get better. I'm sorry, I'm so sorry. (30 minutes later, she grabs her phone from her purse and dials David's number. It rings for 5 seconds and David answers) Hello.

Voice: Are you done?, should I come get you?.

Annabelle: No, I suddenly have a 1 hour shift to cover. You can come get me after 1 hour.

Voice: Okay. I'll see you soon.

Annabelle: Okay, bye (ends the call and dries her eyes).

At Annabelle's Work Place(1-Hour Later).

David arrives and sees Annabelle waiting outside. She walks into the car and David notices her face seems gloomy.

David: Are you okay?. You don't look too good. Are you running a fever? (Places his hand on her forehead to feel her temperature). You're burning up.

At David's House.

David and Annabelle arrive home and he helps her get out of the car and takes her upstairs to her room.

David: (Ushers her to sit on the bed) I'll get you some warm towel to calm your fever down (turns to go to her bathroom when she suddenly grabs his hand). What is it?. Are you okay?, do you feel worse?.

Annabelle: I need to talk to you.

David: I'm right here (sitting beside her). What is it?. Did you have time a hard time at work?.

Annabelle: (Nodes in disapproval) It isn't work related. (In a low tune) It's about my past. There's something you don't know about me yet, something I've never told you before. Actually (stutters) I... I used to be in a relationship before. He got into an accident and suddenly he went into a coma. Later I found out we were actually step siblings. My dad got married to his mom after he left us. (Suddenly tearing up) When he finally woke up after 4 years of being in coma, he couldn't do anything. He was disabled, he couldn't walk and he wouldn't speak to anyone. He only wanted to see me. At first, I didn't want to go, but then I felt pity for him and I decided to help him get back to his feet. All the days I couldn't come home early from work, I went to see him. He got the courage to walk again because of me, but I didn't tell him that we were actually step siblings. The fact that I'm married to you, I hid the truth from him. He thought we were still in some kind of a relationship. I swear, I was going to find the right time to tell him, but when I finally summoned the courage to tell him everything today, he already knew. I watched him, (stutters) I watched him break down in front of me, I watched him go through so much pain even when I knew I had hurt him, I didn't mean to. I didn't mean to, I swear I didn't mean to.

David: (Suddenly hugs her while trying to console her) Shh..., I believe you. I believe you. (30 minutes later, Annabelle seems to be calm).

Annabelle: How did you know I was seeing Harry?.

David: I had the bodyguard follow you. I know I was wrong, but I just wanted to make sure you were safe. Ever since you got hit in the head by a total stranger, I wanted to make sure you were okay.

Annabelle: Didn't you ever get mad or think that I was maybe cheating on you?.

David: I admit, I was hurt at first. Now that I'm sure that you love me and only me, I have no reason to doubt you. I trust you and I don't want you keeping secrets from me anymore. I'd be a selfish jerk not to understand your situation.

Annabelle: I'm sorry.

David: (Caresses her cheek) I'm more sorry because you had to go through so much in the past and it still came back to haunt you. I want to protect you, so don't give up on me (Annabelle suddenly hugs him and he gently strokes her hair).
