Match 43

He could hear the footsteps getting closer and closer and with every step his heart went more and more insane. At the cricking of the white, chapped door he took a deep breath as a familiar figure appeared in front of him.

She looked like she hadn't slept in days. He blonde hair were messy and she had huge black circles under her eyes. Her body seemed to have taken an odd form, like she couldn't stand straight. How could a person change so much in just a few days? She seemed like someone else and not the mother he always knew.

"What do you want?" she asked rudely, her voice exposing how tired she was.

"Um…I…" he got stuck. Not really knowing what he was supposed to say. How could he ask her? She didn't seem to recognize him anyways so it was obvious he had gotten his answer about that.
