The Golden Dragon: Fafnir

"Axia. Don't fight Fafnir!" Uchi called out.

"Why? I can easily kill him." Axia said.

"I don't want him dead. He's just being controlled. He just needs to be awakened from his current state. So please, let me handle this battle." Uchi said.

"Sigh.." Axia rubbed the back of her head. "I was getting a bit tired anyway, so why not. Knock yourself out."

Uchi smiled and Axia walked towards Zofia. Uchi looked at Fafnir and Fafnir landed on the ground. Uchi walked towards Fafnir and her dragon wings emerged from her back and dragon horns grew from her head. Fafnir looked at her and golden aura emerged from his body.

"Fafnir...It's just you and me. I will free you from your misery." Uchi said.

Fafnir roared and flew towards Uchi at high speeds. Uchi flew up and made Fafnir follow her. Fafnir roared and followed Uchi. Paulla watched and was worried. Nō rubbed Paulla's head and reassured her. Fafnir was shooting golden energy beams at Uchi. Uchi dodged them and shot her own beams at him. Fafnir summoned a barrier and drained the energy beams and it powered him up.

"Fafnir! Please hear my voice!" Uchi yelled.

Fafnir opened his mouth and charged a large beam. He shot the beam at Uchi and she summoned a magic circle that deflected the beam then the magic circle shattered. She shot more beams at Fafnir and he kept draining them, taking no damage. Steam came from Fafnir's mouth and he roared loudly.

"Fafnir's Special Move is ready.." Nobunaga said.

"Special Move?" Ranmaru asked.

"Nothing Burst..He releases all of the energy into one huge burst of energy that deals massive damage." Nobunaga said.

Fafnir shot a large blast at Uchi. Uchi created a barrier and tried to block the Nothing Burst. The barrier cracked and Uchi grunted. Axia was watching while sitting next to Zofia. Lightning surged around Uchi and she closed her eyes. She was holding back because she didn't want to badly hurt Fafnir. The barrier shattered and she was directly hit with the Nothing Burst.

"Mama!" Paulla yelled in terror.

"I finally understand..." The smoke cleared and Uchi was floating there in her Supreme Dragon Mode as white lightning surged from her body and her hair was white. "If you won't allow me to show mercy..then I won't give you any mercy."

"M-Mama..?" Paulla was surprised.

"There she is...The Supreme Dragon.." Nobunaga smirked.

Uchi flew towards Fafnir and went for an attack and Fafnir summoned a barrier that drained her attack. Uchi vanished and attacked the barrier from all directions at high speeds. She appeared above the barrier and kicked down and shattered the barrier then flipped and karate chopped Fafnir's neck and sent him crashing to the ground.

"This is the true power of the nicest person in Genten? A real tyrant under that nice skin." Axia said and laughed.

Uchi held up her hand and thunderclouds began forming. Fafnir stood up and shook his head then looked up at Uchi. Uchi looked at Fafnir.

"You need some discipline you oversized lizard." Uchi said coldly. "Begone with the Supreme Thunderclap...Hyper Raijin!"

Uchi lowered her hand and a large white thunderbolt rushed down and crashed down hit Fafnir directly. Fafnir dispelled the lightning and flew up towards Uchi and dark aura surged from his talons. Uchi looked at Fafnir and shot lightning at him, but he slashed through it and used his Ultimate Skill, Mirage Claw. He slashed and connected a direct hit at Uchi and sent Uchi crashing down quickly and she grunted loudly. Paulla ran to Uchi and looked worried.

"Mama, are you okay?" Paulla asked.

Fafnir landed and roared loudly and shook the ground.

"You big bully..! You...you hurt my mother..!" Paulla said in anger. "Now I'm mad..! I'm really REALLY angry now!"

Paulla summoned a Grimoire and the book opened then the pages started flipping quickly then she held her hand out and a magic circle appeared.

"Paulla...you haven't been able to master summoning..." Uchi coughed and stood up slowly.

"I have to try and protect you. I don't want you to die! I know I can change the outcome of the situation!" Paulla yelled.

Zofia watched and noticed how similar the they were. They both would do anything to protect the people they loved. They both had the ability to summon. They both had similar of almost everything.

"I formed a pack with a Dragon here and she will help us!" Paulla said.

"What?! It takes immense amount of power to summon! Plus to summon a dragon you need a sacrifice!" Uchi said.

"I know...I made a lifetime sacrifice. I sacrificed a pint worth of blood for her..it was enough to get her to stay by my side as my Guardian." Paulla said. "Now arise! Corli!"

Corli appeared from the magic circle and roared. She was an Angelic Dragon. She landed on her feet and her dragon tail swayed. She had light purple hair and her dragon tail was the same color. She wore a kimono and had a large singular dragon horn coming from the middle of her forehead.

"A Hybrid..? Like me..?" Uchi said in shock.

"Master, I have come to neutralize a threat. Who will I be facing off against?" Corli asked.

"Him." Paulla pointed at Fafnir.

Corli looked at Fafnir and nodded. Axia stood up and walked towards Corli. Corli looked at Axia and tilted her head.

"I thought I'd help you. That Mirage Claw can drain the target's aura and add it to their own. If I were you I'd let me take the Mirage Claw because my aura is neutral so I don't lose anything." Axia said.

"Okay!" Corli nodded.

The looked at Fafnir and Axia smirked, licking her lips. Corli dashed towards Fafnir and Axia followed. Corli yelled and her arm turned into a dragon's arm then she slashed. She got a hit on Fafnir and Axia capitalized off it and blasted him with an energy pulse. Fafnir roared and blasted them both with a huge beam. Axia stepped in front of Corli and took the blast. The smoke cleared and her red eyes shined then sent the same blast at Fafnir with double the power. It hit him and Fafnir roared in pain. Corli dashed towards him and Fafnir's red eyes glowed then black aura surged from his talons. He slashed upwards and Corli barely dodged. Axia aura dashed into Fafnir and caused him to get knocked off balance.

"You're lucky I can't kill you. If I could, you'd be dead already!" Axia said and palmed Fafnir's body, sending him flying in the air.

Corli appeared above Fafnir and kicked him down then summersaulted downwards then stomped on his back with both feet, breaking the ground. Corli stepped off him and jumped back. She began charging up an attack and Fafnir stood up slowly.

"Take this! Lunar Impulse!" Corli shot the blast at Fafnir and grunted.

Axia appeared behind Fafnir and kicked him forward into the blast, interrupting his drain ability then an explosion happened. Zofia and Paulla were surprised by the teamwork. Axia's right arm turned into a demon arm and Corli's left arm turned into a dragon arm. They dashed towards Fafnir one last time and bellowed. They struck him at the same time and defeated him. The symbol on Fafnir's body shattered and Fafnir's body started to crack then shatter. Everyone was surprised. A yellow soul floated midair.

"F-Fafnir..?" Uchi looked at the soul.

"Fafnir was one of the Seven Kings..?" Zain asked.

Uchi fell to her knees and looked depressed. She did her best to show Fafnir mercy just for him to die anyway. Paulla walked towards Uchi then passed out against her. Uchi looked surprised and caught Paulla. She could see Paulla was tired out of her mind. She hugged her and closed her eyes. The Yellow Soul vanished and appeared in front of Aria in Arcania.

"Hm? Where did this come from..?" Aria asked.

"A Yellow Soul..? One of the Kings must've died." Ysserel said.

"Yeah...but who..?" Aria asked.
