"W-where am I?" Myriad asked himself. "Wait, didn't I die? don't tell me this is the afterlife!?". A sudden pain ached in his chest as he remembered what happened while he was still alive."Oh. And why is it so dark?".
"Hahaha! betrayed In the end!" A little girl laughed out loud.
"You. Who are you? " Myriad asked shocked at her appearance.
"Me? I'm a goddess.... in disguise!"
Light suddenly shone in the seemingly dark space. Ah, it was because of the stars. They were so close yet unreachable. Myriad just noticed he had also been floating, he just couldn't move about like he wanted to.
Floating around was a young girl with different coloured hair from pink to red to blue, green, purple, yellow and in overall, black.
"Goddess.... in disguise?" Myriad asked clearly asked confused.
Yes! it's my job to give people who have had a tragic end a second chance. Just say I'm easing the pain in your heart!
"A second chance? a second chance!?" Myriad shouted.
"Yes, a second chance in your past life, and I ask... what are you to do with it?. Depending on your answer, I'll decide whether to give you or not".
"A second chance at life? i'ld fix all my mistakes and- scratch that!" Myriad's expression turned from the nice and easy to a mischievous and cunning one. "I'm done living for people.... I'll make those who defy me my slaves! and if they refuse to oblige, I'll make their remaining shitty lives a living hell.". Stands up and spread his arms wide. "All the kingdoms Including Traxdart.... I'll make them bow, they will worship me! and as for the fuckers that betrayed me and my kingdom, even if they're childhood friends, I'll make them pay. All with this second life, so angel in disguise, are you giving it to me?!"
The way humans change in the blink of an eye..... it's amazing! "You humans! truly are the worsts of creatures" The little girl laughed in excitement. "That's good. Remember I said I'm an angel in disguise?... that's a lie" She grinned showing her sharp razor teeth.
"Huh? what the hell?. So am I going to regress or what" Myriad asked in annoyance.
"So, you're going to live this second life solely for...."
"Revenge! if one higher up is corrupted, there's no way the others will not be. So, I'll have to fish them out and make sure they regret it".
"Sure! I'll give it to you human. However, don't expect things to remain thesame again".
Her voice began to blend in with the darkness as it it got lower.
"I'm not sure why your parents named you Myriad but with respect to that I'll send you back in time..... ten years in the past"
Her voice sounded like whispers now...
"If you die again before you accomplish your goals, I'll send you to hell. But don't worry..."
The devil is on your side~ Snickers.
"There's no way I'm not going to accomplish my goals" Myriad scoffed.
"But if that's the deal for taking this life, then I guess I better get serious".
My revenge will finally be complete if I find the mastermind of the scheme against me. All the while making sure to live my life just the way I want it, I'll take over kingdoms and trample my enemies before me.
No regrets this time, afterall...

"Huh? where am I?" A lot of people were walking or running helter skelter carrying out their respective works. On the other hand, what am I doing? nothing?.
Someone beside me busted out laughing at the top of his voice.
"H-hey Ryu, you won't believe what Myriad just did! hahahahaha".
"Who is- oh,, Kira Mickey. This fucker, your death won't be painless.
"What's wrong?" An Incoming Ryu asked
"This guy just shouted 'My Revenge' ahahaha!" Holy shit! hahaha.
"D-did they hear me?" Myriad turned his head in shame. Now that I think about it, how old am I?
"Did you hit your head or something? you were fine just a moment ago" Ryu asked
"You! will hit your head your head or something!" Myriad shouted back. Ahh, what a stupid response.
Ryu just shrugged and went back to his business.
"Hey Kira, what's going on?. Everyone looks so busy" Myriad asked
Kira stared at him in shock
"What's wrong?"
"Ah, nothing. I was just wandering when you started calling me Kira".
That's right! in the future, Mickey and Ryu were assigned good position and high ranking status. So I started calling them by their surname. Even though I was king.
"Oh. I just thought you were older". Ahh what a stupid response!
"What are you thinking, we're thesame age, how can you not keep that in your dumb head all these years? baka". Mickey said in shock, confusion and annoyance. He's been acting weird. "And of course everyone will be busy, it's that time already. Since the new king doesn't have an heir, he will be selecting one of many talented youths from all backgrounds to fill his throne. We registered for it, except Ryu. Apparently he's not interested".
That's right, I'm now 19 years. And tomorrow is the day... I become king!.
