Prologue

In a celestial realm where everything started, a huge tree could be seen, each leaves of the tree represents each galaxy in the universe.

13 being with no genders could be seen seating on a round table circling the enormous tree. These individuals calls themselves Celestials and each and every one of them were brimming with energy that filled the area with light.

They all shared troubled expression on their faces.

"Celes of Beginning, Eos, how are we gonna deal with the invader of the other universe? Do you have any idea that could help us out?"

"Celes of the End, Artemis, I have none. But I learned something about the inhabitants of that Universe. It seems like sentient being there could use magic, something that we decided not to grant in the sentient beings here."

"Then why don't we just give the same thing to our inhabitants as well? We could all give them powers to their limits and manipulate their destiny so they won't wreak havock on their planets." The Celes of Destiny, Kira suggested.

"We cannot do that Kira, if sentient beings where to be manipulated that way, then the very foundation of this realm will be greatly affected. Changes like that will make this universe reject us inorder to repair itself. And if that happens, we will perish." Said Altair, the Celes of Freedom.

"This is hard. We did not expect this thing to happened to us. We didn't even know before that there are other universe aside from this one and all of them have beings like us." Complaint the Celes of Purity, Bianca.

"We couldn't blame ourselves, we are just a billion years old anyways. By the way, how are the other universe going to conquer this one? Isn't it rule for a universe to reject foreign things? I wasn't informed since you all send me to watch and make reports at the life progress of the sentient beings here." Ask the Celes of Dishonor, Anwir.

"If another being like us tried to enter our universe, our universe will eliminate it. However if sentient being with free will from other universe tries to enter our own universe, it seems like our universe will not be able to tell that they are foreign." Said the Celes of Life, Eden.

"In addition, if we tried to eliminate those foreign sentients by ourselves our universe will then greatly oppose our existence and would attack us. The only way to defend our universe is to strengthen our own sentient inhabitants here." Celes of Death, Orpheus added.

"It seems like these universal war would only end if one side manage to wipe out all the sentience of the others." Celes of Love, Venus said.

"Yeah, after that happened, this universe will not recognize us anymore since the sentient beings that we represents has been wipeout and replace by the sentient from the other universe. If that happens, they will then be recognize by this universe and our universe will eliminate us." Archeon, the celes of vengeance added.

"This is a war that we need to survive or else our existence will perish. We don't want that to happen." Said the Celes of Virtue, Caelum.

"I have a suggestion. Why don't we follow Kira's suggestion and give powers to the sentient here? Each and one of them will receive certain ability only and their strength varies from a person to person. Also the strength will be adjusted to what a mortal body could handle. We will also not put fate in them so the universe will not reject our existence." The Celes lf Sin, Cassini suggested.

"That's wonderful but full of problems. Sentient will begin to self destruct if we gave them powers. Second, if all sentient has powers then they will only try to improve that ability, causing stagnation for years. And lastly, don't forget the rule of the universe, if there is positive there has to be negative. It applies to everyone even though mine hasn't born yet, Sentient receiving powers without a use will trigger the universe. So I have here my proposal." Everyone then look at the youngest of them, the celestial of magic, Comet and nodded.

"First issue, for the sentient not self destruct we will give them a reason to collaborate with each other. Second, inorder to avoid stagnation, we will give only a portion of the population some powers so that, those who did not receive powers will strive for improvement and create things we didn't imagine possible.

The third one, which will solve all our problems from the first issue to the third, we will give the sentients an enemy. Enemy that they could only defeat if they collaborate and improve themselves. Not only will it prepare them for the incoming great war, it would also give counter energy to the positive action we made. So the universe will not do anything against us." Comet suggested.

"You might be the youngest among all us, but you are the smartest as well. The great tree only give birth to you 30 years ago but you already surprise everyone. In the next 70 years the tree will gave birth to your counter existence, I wonder what kind of celestial would it be." Eos commented.

"Let's leave the sentients to him, Comet please do what you think is a must." Artemist said.

"Yes Sir, I will watch over the sentient and do what was needed." Comet replied.

"That's reassuring, we can now all focus at hiding our universe from the other until our sentient here is strong enough to deal with the invaders." Kira said.

"That's true. We will put our faith in you so do you best." Altair said as she wave her hand towards Comet.

Comet just smiled and vanished into the thin air.
